I usually prefer New York-style pizza, but this was still excellent in its own way. The best part is the cheese-to-sauce ratio. Lately I've noticed a lot of places piling on way too much sauce, but Zack's gets it just right. Every bite has a good balance without the sauce overpowering everything. Somehow I expected more than just mozzarella stuffed mushrooms. No real thought went into the dish. We also ordered a chef's salad and that exceeded our expectations for both presentation and quality. One small thing. I have a pet peeve about the entrees coming to the table while we are still working on the appetizer and that's what happened here. Our server, Taylor, did apologize and said that the mushroom appetizer takes longer to cook than most other appetizers and so our food was ready at the same time. Minus one star. We spent a month in FL and there were no good Italian restaurants, and we agreed that the only way to eat Italian is to stay in the Northeast, so we gave this place one last shot and we weren't disappointed.
