What can I say? This camp came at a time when I really needed to feel comfortable that my kid is having fun in a loving environment. We have been attending different camps here all summer and every camp has been incredible. My daughter loved every week from baking camp to art to ice skating. Seeing her ice skating today brought tears to my eyes. The owner Ms Anamika is a sweetheart and she knows the names of the kids personally. She is always at the gate to welcome the kids in the morning and see them off in the afternoon. I had certain special requests to help me and she accommodated very sweetly. We cannot wait to be back! This camp does not provide a comforting environment for children. They do not listen to or address the needs of the kids. My child is bright and sweet, and has never been a troublemaker at school. However, on the first day of camp, he came home crying and was depressed all afternoon. The center claimed he threw the snacks, but my child told me he was trying to open the snack bag and accidentally dropped it. If they had simply listened to him and explained not to throw the snack, he wouldn't have cried all night and been depressed all afternoon. When I tried to discuss this with the center owner, they didn't listen and just focused on his behavior. My child has never had behavior issues at school. There is no warmth or effort to understand what the children are saying or needing. They don't care and do not try to listen to the kids. My child has always been loved by his teachers for his behavior. I enrolled him in this place for summer camp because he loved Mad Science camp last year in Los Altos and wanted to attend again. However, at this facility, there are too many kids in a very small room, and there is not enough space. read more

My kid had ice skating camp there and it's great! The camps at little champs are different from other places, and very unique. For this camp, the kids have a dedicated rink and coaches. My kid had lots of fun, and enjoy going to the rink everyday by bus (a huge plus!). Would definitely try other camps in the future. read more

Enrolled my 5 year olds to the Thanksgiving Cooking n Baking camp and they had a blast! I was very impressed with the food they made, it was delicious! Both my kids have attended the afterschool program as well as the spring/summer camps at Little Champs. They both enjoy being there and learn a lot from these camps. As part of afterschool program, they have special classes every day. My little one loves the Bollywood dance and art classes. She has also picked up a few Hindi words from the language class. All the teachers are very nice and approachable. They also take extra effort to make sure they finish their lunches and snacks. This summer we put them in cooking and ice skating camps and both are great. Look forward to more summer camps and fun. Our daughter loved the Cooking n Baking camp. Even though she has been a picky eater her whole life this camp encouraged her to try new things, and was very proud of the new concoctions she would bring home each day. My son participated in the cooking and baking camp for a week this summer. He is 5, and even though we didn't sign up for the camp with any of his friends, he had so much fun and told me that he wanted to go back the following week! He looks really enjoyed the activities as well as meeting the new teachers and friends there. He is an extremely picky eater and usually picks out anything "colorful (veggies)" from his plate. First day, he came home with a Vietnamese sandwich which had veggies inside. I thought that there's no way he would eat that, but then, he took a bite and told me it's good and I should try it. Same thing the next day with the Indian vegetable curry. And then with the veggie sushi rolls. If you have a picky eater, you can probably relate to how I feel. A homely heaven for kids! We moved into this neighborhood and my elementary going kids started Little Champs as afterschool. Staff: The first impression of Anamikaji is flexible, kind and very loving. Over the months, I have noticed the same from all teachers, they take care of kids like their own including tying shoe laces, doing neat and clean homework, serving food lovingly, etc. Learning: Kids get help for their school homework and get extra homework if they dont have from school. They have extra curricular activities such as bollywood dance, Hindi/Spanish language learning, math, spelling bee as part of monthly tuition. The public school break (spring, winter, Xmas) PM part time is covered and have ice skating, martial arts, chess, art and craft, writing camp for morning time with extra fees. Both my daughters have been going for a year now. Teachers take very good care of kids overall and my daughters just love Ms. Arathi in particular. They have wonderful staffs who take care of kids just like we would want them too. Ms. Gauri and Ms. Sheela are also my kids favorite. I have been late on few occasions to pick kids and teachers have been very understanding and polite. School says pickup time is extended till 6:30 pm which gives ample of time for those who commute long distance despite of starting early from work we all do get late at time for various reasons and staffs here have been very understanding and very engaging. They have wide variety of programs to keep kids busy during school days and even during summer camps. Lots of art work, Bollywood dance, Spanish class and academic as well. There is a good balance between the activities. Lack of outdoor space during school days but during summer camps they have some outdoors activities like tennis, basket ball..... The teachers are really good and very caring. Kids feel at home when they are at Little Champs. The teachers are available there to help with any clarifications we need and are receptive to feedback. During a School Holiday break couple of months back, I took the day off to be Home with my kids. My daughter wouldn't stop pestering me and made me leave her at LittleChamps so she can spend the day there. :-) They encourage the kids to finish their lunch - whatever is left from their lunch box. I rate this feature high because my kids are very picky eaters. My kids have learnt to finish their lunch and I don't have to bother about it all these days. They provide some serving of fruit every single day and other snacks in addition. They have some activity every day (Bollywood, yoga, Hindi/Spanish, arts, etc) for no additional cost.Kids enjoy them. They host 2 programs every year (during Diwali and year end) in a nearby auditorium. All students will be part of a group dance/song. If they have real good talent, they can perform solo too. All parents with family are invited to this event. They host parents night out once in 2 months or a quarter. We can leave the kids until 8 PM that Friday. Little Champs seems to be for younger kids and not 11 or 12 year olds. The rooms are compact, and there is very little ventilation. The owners should look to extend the space so it's more comfortable for kids. They advertised healthy snacks on their website but they served Rice Krispies, Goldfish, etc. They should look at improving the food, given the money they charge. I was worried about the transportation for my kids the first couple of days (just because they had never used the kids' van service before) and I told Anamika about this. She was constantly texting me from the moment my kid was out of school and until she arrived Little Champs. That definitely helped calm me down. They help make sure the kids homework is done. We had a terrific experience at the Little Champs ice skating camp. I was a little worried that my 12-year-olds would be too old for it, given the name "Little Champs," but nope! They really enjoyed themselves. The teachers, skating instructors, and volunteers were incredibly helpful, warm, kind, and friendly, as well as super competent and on-the-ball. After the first day, they recognized my kids as soon as they saw them coming -- that's saying something when there are so many kids in such a busy place! We sent our daughter to the cooking camp, and we all were so happy with everything about this place that we enrolled her for another week in the creative art camp. The staff members we're all so nice, they welcomed us very warmly every morning, and knew my daughter by her name. We felt that the place was very safe, and weren't anxious to leave our daughter right from the first day. Little champs is a great place for kids after school. Both our kids (11yr and 8yrs) have been going for couple of years now and enjoy their time there. They have fun and learn new things like hindi, bollywood dance, art etc. They can even participate in their favorite optional classes like Mad Science or Lego Robotics. The teachers are competent and very friendly and helpful. My son cannot have gluten, so they allow us to provide GF snacks for him which they serve to him when other kids get snacks. Little Champ accommodates our schedule and makes sure they are open early morning when some schools have day off (for professional development etc.) so we always have a place to drop them off. They try to keep kids engaged and have fun activities for them every now and then - like movie/pizza night, visit to park, free yoga lessons etc. The year end program is where kids showcase their talents and make parents proud.
