Awesome indoor-summer-sports camp in the South Bay. The indoor aspect of this camp is crucial as we have had such a HOT summer. Campers get to do rock climbing, inline skating, soccer, games and more. My son signed up for their COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (CIT) program and is getting hands on work experience that will serve him well when he applies his first "real" job. The adult counselors are friendly, helpful and on the ball. They take the CITs under their wing and rally the team for a fun day. Great program, highly recommend for kids and teens. read more

My two children always have an incredible time at this camp. They come home every day absolutely exhausted from all the sports, and full of stories. I'm actually amazed at the amount of different activities that they fit into one day, from rollerskating, scootering, bouncy houses, climbing and more! I was searching for winter camps for my little when I came across Growfit. They have multiple locations in the Bay Area with San Jose being closest to us. We've never had our little in camp and did not know what to expect, I just read all the excellent reviews they had and trusted in them. Camp is from 9-4pm and they put the kids together according to age. You do have to pack lunch and water of course. They keep them very occupied during the day - between soccer, riding scooters, games, bouncy houses - there is so much to do. Your child will be tired, which is the goal right ? lol Everyone there is really nice and welcoming and the complex is huge! I can't wait to take advantage of the other times they have camp during spring break and summer - this is very helpful for working parents. We have absolutely loved having our 8 year old son go to the growfit camp at the Plex during the school breaks! The camp is very organized and fun for the kids. My son enjoyed going everyday and even asked to go on days I hadn't signed him up. They keep them very active with soccer, indoor rock climbing, jump house, flag football, tag, and kickball. He enjoyed the camp counselors and was so excited to challenge himself to learn a dance and earn a popsickle! These camps are great during the school breaks. My 6 year old son attended the GrowFit summer camp at the Plex and it turned out to be a such a great experience for him. The whole camp was indoors which helped us avoid the summer heat. The camp was very engaging in several sports and physical activities. They got to play soccer, ride glowing scooters, playing bouncy castles, and many more. They also had coloring when kids wanted to unwind. The staff here was very accommodating and understanding. They were very friendly and we could see that they were taking good care of the kids. We also got daily photos from the camp and it was clear that all kids had a very good time with lots of entertainment. read more

Our son (7) had THE best week at this summer camp! So many different activities! Rock climbing, bounce houses, basketball, football, & he learned how to roller skate (even asking us to buy him his own skates by the end of the week)! My 5-year old daughter had a really great time at GrowFit at Silver Creek Sportsplex! She loved rollerskating, dodgeball, and art projects, and made a couple of good friends, too! My wife and I appreciated the pictures captured each day showing how much fun she was having! Their COVID safety protocols were really reassuring, too. All safety measures, COVID or otherwise, made us feel at ease during her days away at camp. We'll definitely be back in the future for other camps and our 9-year old daughter is begging to go now, too! read more

Sara and the team at GrowFit are great. My son attended the one week session during Ski Week and had a fantastic time, and now The Plex is one of his favorite places. There were a lot of fun activities throughout the day that keep the kids active, scooter, rock climbing, playing games, soccer, etc. Every day he was excited to go to camp. Our 6 year old son loved this camp! There were so many fun activities throughout the day with - glow in the dark scootering and indoor bounce houses being a highlight. He also enjoyed indoor soccer and relay games. Would definitely go back again next year. read more

Not safe. This seems to be a fun place but actually not safe. We took our son to this place during the President break week, hopefully he would have a great time there. But on the first day, he fell from a bounce house and his chin had a deep cut, went to the hospital on an ambulance and got 4 stitches. We saw lots of blood on his sweater and even saw his white chin bone! The accident traumatized my son, and messed up our schedule. Now he has a long ugly scar on his chin, scared of going to camp and still complained about his teeth and knee being hurt days after the accident. And maybe we have to spend some money to treat the scar later. The main reason for the injury is there was no cushion around the bounce house, just thin carpet on the concrete floor, and no one was watching him closely, and maybe the bounce house wasn't operated properly. I regret of sending him there. read more

Our daughter has loved the mass amount of activities, the knowledgeable and loving Staff and always raves about her experience everyday when she gets home. Growfit is a great day camp. It is an active indoor camp with many activities, games, bounce house/slides, rock climbing, roller skating, and more. The camp leaders are very kind. My kids absolutely love this camp. We had to find a camp that could accommodate drop in sessions as I share custody of my kids and this was one of the few camps that allowed drop ins without having to sign up for a full week. This summer has been hotter than prior summers so the fact that this camp is held indoors makes weather a moot point. My kids learned how to roller skate and rock climb amongst other thing at camp and come home raving about how friendly their camp coaches are. This is the first summer camp that my kids have been to that they ask to go back to! We will definitely continue sending them to Growfit this summer and next. I highly recommend this camp and it's a great place to plan your kids play dates at if they have friends open to joining the camp with them. read more

This is the first year that my wife and I have sent our son here for summer camp, and he absolutely adores it. They have an advantage over their rivals because they are located inside and have air conditioning, which is especially advantageous during the sweltering summer months. My 6 years old has been going to this camp regularly for the last 2 months. He has been so happy and motivated due to this and I wanted to make sure that I spread the words around. This is a wonderful summer camp for young children in the 4-5 age group and it's great that they keep them together within their age group. The staff are warm and welcoming and they send us pictures each day so we get to see what activities they are doing. Our son enjoys attending and has made good friends. We were looking for a sports camp for my 9yr old this summer and we are so thankful we found GrowFit. My son just loves the camp and raves about it each day when he gets back from the camp. They have fun activities planned for the kids through the day and my son enjoys Skating ; Dodgeball and Bounce Houses to name a few from those. They also do have special days reserved for rock climbing and camping within the location. The staff and coaches are very helpful and extremely friendly - we love that about them. My Son had the best summer camp we would have hoped for and we so look forward for our next year summer break at GrowFit again. My daughter is five and she loves playing at GrowFit. They have a variety of activities on site and the most important thing in summer is that they are in-doors with AC always on. My daughter loves the jumpy house, the ball games, and the popsicle at the end of the day. Sara is super nice and patient. I would totally recommend them in the future. The 8 year old loved it day one, he goes two days a week currently. He is beyond excited when he's picked up and exhausted. Beats sitting home playing video games any day! And with everything going on with the COVID pandemic, they ensure the safety & health of the kids. NO parents allowed. I can't say enough about this camp. I received an email about this camp back in April. I reached out to learn more about their COVID precautions and decided to send my sons (6 and 9) there for Spring break. I originally signed up for Monday and Wednesday. When we arrived on day 1, my kids were greeted warmly and I felt comfortable leaving them. By the time I returned at the end of the day to pick them up my boys were laughing and talking about how much fun they had. They wanted to go the next day. So I decided to sign them up for the whole week. They played all day, made friends, had fun- they got to be kids. It was so great. They have been attending this summer. The flexibility to sign up for as many days makes this so convenient. My boys always have fun when they are there. Also, I can't say enough amazing things about this staff. They are so friendly. My kids love their coaches. And Coach Sara is on it! It is so reassuring to have a safe local camp that my kids get to enjoy. I highly recommend this camp!! You will have no regrets. read more

During our fall break I had the opportunity to take 4 of my grandkids here. They range in ages from 6 to 10 and they absolutely loved it! Leilani Castillo was the person that helped us and she was amazing! She took care of all the registration and paperwork, all I had to do was sign. She was great with the kids as well! Horrible, horrible, horrible experience. My two kids attended 2 days of summer camp in July 2019. On July 17 after I picked my kids my older one told me that the younger one got bullied and kicked in the head repeatedly by other kids and that he was crying and none of the staff noticed on their own. I went back to the checkout counter to ask what happened, and the staff told me that a couple of other kids indeed did do that to my younger one. When I asked them why they did not inform me at the pickup about this, they didn't give me any proper answers. My 7 year old son was constantly bullied during their free time while they were on the indoor soccer field. Someone kicked my son and he fell down and while he was still down other kids started kicking him hard on this head and a kid came running and threw the ball on his head. My son was crying and yelling stop but no one noticed. At this point my 11 year old stepped in to save her brother and after about 10 mins when none of the staff still noticed all the commotion my daughter took her brother to the staff and the staff told him "what do you want me to do about it?". When my daughter told the whole story, they asked her what she was doing there. My son's head was hurting and they gave him ice pack. I am appalled that these people did not care to inform me about all this on their own and also that they do not take strict actions against such bullies. They said he did not pass out or get a concussion so they did not call me. My son's head was still hurting when I picked him up at the end of the day. When I trust anyone with my kids I expect them to take care of them and keep them safe. Anyone who takes responsibility of kids needs to know how dangerous head injuries can be. Do not send your kids to this place if you care for the safety of your child. read more

We love grow fit at silver creek sportsplex! All the staff has been so kind, loving, fun and patient with my 4 year old. He was very shy and hesitant at first but they made him feel comfortable in just one day and now he keeps asking to go. I love the ability to sign up for just a day and last minute if needed. They were also so kind when I wanted to call and check up on him during the day and also give me a great report of how he did everyday when I picked him up. Sara and her team truly love what they do, I can tell that they care about each kid as an individual, Coach Cassie went above and beyond to make my son feel excited, comfortable and involved.
