We started in October 2021, in the middle of the ' school term', with Covid-related staffing issues, it was very very hard to find an infant spot anywhere, so initially I was glad I found anything. However, the Kids R Kids' and my approach are so different, in the end this place simply did not work for me for numerous reasons. Babies are constantly shifted between the rooms ('Caterpillar' and 'Turtles'). Often times my Baby would start in one room, where there was a crib assigned, and end up in a room next door, where there is no crib assigned and Baby is forced to sleep in a swing. This is bad for nap habits and simply uncomfortable for the little human. Several different teachers pass through the rooms each day, as in a hectic and disorganized way to staff the rooms with the minimum required (and sometimes not sufficient) teacher-student ratio. My Baby never got the chance to bond with any of the teachers. The communication between the parent and the teacher is also a mess, you can say things to one teacher but then the three others that 'fill in' will not know anything you said. The shuffling between the rooms, between different kids in different age groups, also contributes to disease spreading via the Teachers. The Teachers are so busy, there is no personal connection to children. It is like a mass factory, babies are picked up, fed, changed (only every minimum nr of hours), placed back into a swing or a jumperoo, next, next, next. A baby-depository of sorts. Not a single book in these rooms, nobody reads aloud. The abuse of these swings, jumperoos and activity stations is hurtful for me to watch. Kids are left strapped in them for hours, even when they protest. Nobody has time to tend to them and spend some time on a floor/mat. The crawling and physical growth are not promoted at all. This reflects very poorly on a day care and there is no rational or scientific approach to anything here. When I read some info on their website, they said they had an 'infant programme', including sign language. My Baby was taught ZERO ASL signs. The Teachers rarely have any time at all to interact beyond the bare minimum feed&change, and most of them are so stressed out they don't even smile. Even when the babies are placed together on the floor, each swing/chair is turned into opposite direction, they don't interact with each other, nor with adults. They are just left alone most of the time, often without even a simple toy. I do know all that for sure, because I watch their webcam at work whenever I can. What I saw was the opposite of what I would expect from any qualified friendly daycare. They do offer baby food included in the price, but babies eat alone with a rushed teacher, never facing each other like in other daycares. Infant food is Gerber jars, which is fine, but the menu for the older kids is simply horrible. Only fast food, pizza, hot dogs, cheese puffs, chicken nuggets. That creates bad junk food habits for life (see the pic of their rotating menu, no fresh anything there!). I was told numerous times by the Asst Director that they cleaned the infant toys daily and even soak them overnight. There is no evidence of that from me watching the video feed. At the end of the day the toys are simply placed in baskets and put out the next day for babies to touch. Babies share teethers, chew on same things, take things from each other's mouth, and no care is taken to even try to prevent spread of the germs, not even speaking of Covid. Masks are not enforced, even now, with the record breaking Omicron spreading. Free rides for all viruses. The multiple jumperoos and swings are never washed, never sanitized. If you go visit, just take a close look at any of the jumpers and all the dust, hair and dirt around the seats. It is truly disgusting. All teachers step on the mat with shoes on, as do all the parents. Dirty shoes straight from outside. These mats are not washed daily. Disgusting. My Baby is often sitting in a soiled diaper upon pick up and my husband needs to change the nappy before leaving. They only change the diapers on the clock, poopy diapers for hours. As a result, I need to constantly fight a wild diaper rash. The Director of this franchise is MIA. Never introduced herself, I have no clue who she is. When we filled the sign-up documents, it was very disorganized and random, they had a broken printer and were unable to provide the full package or explain the basic rules. This should have been a red flag already. This lack of organization, sense of chaos and numerous shortcomings with the baby care made me withdraw my kid. Hope this is useful for other parents. This place needs some serious and systemic improvements for the infant and toddlers rooms. While do not blame the individual Teachers, this place is a mess, and seems like neither babies, nor the teachers are happy there.

My kid told me today that a teacher/assistant director has put hands on them when I asked them what happend, they instigate to cause them to have a meltdown, or I have caught them in lies, and even talking about parents/children in front of parents/volunteers. You're pretty much told your kids are liars. My youngest has defended himself multiple times from being punched by other kids. I have never had true issues until more recently. They refer you to Positive Leaps or CDC.....8 REFERRALS or more has been made from this center!!! CDC had to intervene because they sent almost a whole classroom home because they are short staffed and had no control on the classroom behaviors. I have been told by others that my children are not the problem, and need to pull them out immediately. We are told to do our part, they don't hold up their end of the bargain on anything. They said they care but they don't care. The Director called after hours while my child is inpatient currently at the hospital, which caused my son who was visiting his sister, to have a full meltdown in her room making her (sick daughter) have a full blown attack. This made her have an attack which she had to be put on a higher oxygen level to recoup. I had 5 nurses trying to get her calmed down to get her oxygen back up. I told her that it was rude and disrespectful after I told her I don't need this right now, and we can talk about it later, especially when it could've been talked about at the daycare center when the other parent was present. LIE AFTER LIE. They don't want you to talk to higher up because the higher ups only knows what the center says, nothing from the child or the family. I asked for information to contact corporate they refuse to give that information. Why?!? Why are parents not allowed to talk to corporate? Can someone answer that? The stuff on the website never gets you anywhere for any type of information.

DO NOT GO HERE. We…read morestarted sending my daughter here a few months before our son was born because the daycare she was at, didn't accept infants so we had to move. We've had multiple problems since she started and many more once my son started going at 6 weeks old. There's been multiple occasions where the notes of her day aren't correct. (They use an app called KangarooTime to update parents throughout the day). There was one day she peed her pants so bad her SHOES were soaked. The notes said she successfully went potty all day. We were told they upload pictures of the kids daily, there have been periods of 2+ weeks with no pictures updated, despite me asking for them. The daily notes on the app look copy and pasted from day to day and didn't seem like they were specific to my child. She never comes home with any artwork. She also seems like she has regressed in speech and writing. My son has had many more issues than we've had with my daughter. They don't rinse out the bottles you bring in, but don't tell you that. So I discovered a few bottles with day old breast milk in them and they REEKED. They posted pictures of my son with another kids pacifier in his mouth! I'm a pretty laid back mom but I was fit to be tied. Swaddling also helps his colic but since we mentioned this, he is swaddled almost all day every day. It seems like he is always in a bouncer seat and rarely held or being played with. I realize he's the youngest in the room and it's hard to "play" with a 6 week old, but there is no excuse for him being in bouncer seat most of the day. The app is also pretty worthless. They use KangarooTime. If you send a message to the teachers or directors on there, they don't even bother to respond. There's an additional charge to pay the weekly daycare fee through the app, something no one mentioned beforehand. We can not get the kids out of this daycare fast enough. But you have to give a 2 week notice. Thankfully, our last day is Friday and I couldn't be happier. It's been a miserable experience.

Love the staff and atmosphere! My daughter can't get enough of this place and never wants to leave.read more
