The first amazing surprise is there was no entry fee! We entered the garden and quickly ran into another surprise- a human-sized chess board! My boys wanted to play a game against each other...didn't know it was going to take 45mins...but it was fun to sit and watch and listen to the birds chirping. We then continued our tour around the grounds and saw many wonderful plants, trees, bushes, flowers and more. The grounds are beautifully manicured! There some educational areas where you can learn more about irrigation, landscaping and design. To walk around the garden takes about 30mins, but we spent 1.5hrs here as we took a lot of pictures and asked some questions from the workers. The workers and volunteers were very gracious to answer our questions and teach us more about the garden. You can tell they love their job and they love visitors. At the end of the tour, I made sure to drop a little cash in their donation box. Thanks Conservation Garden Park for the great time!

They have great visual exhibits, labelling placards, and fun interactive activities. 10/10 worth the stop, and I can't believe this place is free to the public. (Photography requires a $10 pass) It was the perfect backdrop for what we were doing, and we had a great time exploring the gardens through the park along the way.

The disc golf course isn't anything super special, but it's a good course to get some throws in. There is a walking path throughout the disc golf course, and the park was busy the night we were there. Be prepared to wait a little bit. We didn't mind cause we were catching up with a friend anyway. This park is also directly under the flight path, so you get to see a bunch of airplanes flying overhead which I loved! The trees also smelled amazing. There were a few big softball fields that looked awesome and also the rec center is in the same space. I would highly recommend checking out this park and playing the disc golf course.

The softball complex has great seating, large bathrooms and is well maintained. There's good lighting for night games and good visibility from any seat in the bleachers (I know, I moved around a lot-I get restless.) There's also ample parking nearby. I did opt to park a little further away from the field, knowing that some of the folks on the team I was watching can hit a ball pretty far and I didn't want to fix a broken windshield.

I'm also of the mindset that if you're going to kiss someone, you do it right or you don't do it at all. So don't just make it a peck--give it your all. This is not simply a tradition for the callow youth; stacks and stacks of adults come to The Kissing Bridge for a special moment. If you really want to go for it, take a spin or two in slow dance and then make your move. It's sort of beautiful that it's a bridge. Because what is a bridge, if not just a connection between two points? A bridge is a link that gets us from Point A to Point B. A kiss is the same. Who can say where the Point B leads to? Sometimes we don't know, but we take a step into the unknown, hold our partner, put our hands on the small of their back, pull them gently in, close our eyes, and step across to the other side of the bridge with them. A word of caution: you need to mean it. This bridge is powerful and it can turn a simple kiss into something much greater. It can knit hearts together with an unbreakable bond. Proceed carefully. I'm reminded of the words of the poet: When I kiss you, it will be with every emotion, and feeling, from every last corner of my heart. When I kiss you, it will start inside of me, born the day we met, and will speed through time to catch up to us today. I honestly wasn't planning to do much at Murray City Park (I just stopped by to stretch my legs for…read morea bit) but it ended up being way nicer than you expect a quick stop to be. When you enter, you're greeted by a huge wooden Chief Wasatch sculpture at the entrance. It's kind of hard to miss and gives the whole place a bit of character before you even step onto the paths. From there, it opens up into this really clean, green space that just feels well cared for. And clean is the big thing here that matters. It feels like the park is well maintained. The grass is lush, the landscaping is especially pretty in the summer months, and there are tons of mature trees that give you shade without making the place feel closed in. It strikes a nice balance between open space and cozy, private areas. The walking paths are another highlight. They're easy, flat, and perfect if you're just trying to clear your head or, like me, take a quick break and stretch your legs. You've also got little views of water here and there that add to the calm vibe without turning it into a full-on destination park. What's kind of impressive is how much is packed into one place. There's an amphitheater, sports fields for pretty much everything, a pool, even an outdoor ice rink when it's in season. The park has playgrounds, picnic areas, and pavilions, too. The park is open year-round and is clearly a local favorite because it's always buy, but the crowds never felt overwhelming when I was there. There's enough space to spread out, which helps. Overall, this park is not trying to be anything flashy, just a really solid, well-kept community park. Easy to walk, nice to look at, and surprisingly relaxing for a quick stop. Definitely one of those spots you end up appreciating more than you expected.

The park beside the off leash area is small for a park with only one pavilion with a few tables. And there it is, at the end of the street. In fact, there's not really any formal parking, just parking along the side of the cul-de-sac. There are a few picnic tables and one pavilion, a water spigot, garbage service, and a playground. The playground is actually pretty cool, and probably the main attraction. Mostly, though, there's a whole lot of grass here. If you want to run free, picnic, or play a game of ultimate, football, or anything else that requires lots of open space, this is your big grassy field. In the back corner there's a chain link backstop, but no real baseball diamond to speak of as it's all grass. Ya, a little strange to be finding this little park in the middle of a residential neighborhood, but strange is good in this case. A nice diversion and certainly in this incredible fall weather, a nice place to get out of the house while we still can.

There's no roads nearby, other than the cul-de-sac, so there's no dangerous streets bordering the park, so you don't have to worry about children crossing the road and getting into trouble. The playground equipment is relativity new and offers a lot of fun climbing, slides, and other unique obstacles. Our little boy loves playing at Harvest Estates Park! There's a baseball area among the large grass field and several large trees that provide ample shade on a hot summer day. There's also a covered picnic pavilion with several Punic tables. The picnic area is a little worn out and the tables are dirty.
