When I balked a bit, the person told me she would be very happy leaving her pets at a facility that she can not check out beforehand, and I should too. WHAT???? Isn't visiting a facility the first thing you should consider before leaving your dog there??? So a wasted trip because no one can bother updating the web site to say you can never see inside.

Kim patiently looked through all his hiding spots (even finding him in an old favorite that he hasn't used in awhile!) to make sure he had the chance to eat. She also graciously took care of a truckload of packages that unfortunately arrived just as we left town. Our cats are always very clearly cared for by Kim- when we return they are relaxed and calm, not anxious or worried. I feel that pet sitting requires a very special person, and Kim is that person. We have had a lot of pet sitters in our 20+ years of having pets, and she is the best.

One of his favorites, Nancy, is also very knowledgeable about dogs and lets us know if she sees anything out of the ordinary we should be aware of. We get email reports after each walk and sometimes we get photos. We recently started to use their overnight service when we can't take Sammy with us. I have a high-energy Wheaten Terrier, so she needs lots of love, attention and exercise. The owner, Candy, was super nice and friendly. She knows a lot about different breeds, and how to train/care for animals. She has a million pets of her own, so you know she loves animals. She also does dog training and competitions so her knowledge about pet care/behavior is very extensive.
