They were even able to work with me on my take-home date! The process was a breeze and it was such a relief to see the environment my pup was in firsthand and meet their mama. They provided a wonderful book full of all the details I would need to take care of my new family member, including some tips, treat recommendations, and training recommendations. My puppy Coconut has been an absolute dream. She is confident, friendly, hilarious and overall just a wonderful dog. She has the excited energy to lead us on our hikes and camping trips as well as our days playing disc golf and mountain biking. She also is perfectly happy to hang out with me on the couch when I'm working from home and loves to relax. I couldn't have asked for a better demeanor or a better puppy. Gray is a downer on cement walls and the walk to the kennels is gloomy. Going back soon to visit my potential buddy.

I don't even know where to begin…read more I found Bostic when I wanted to do a breeding of my Chow bitch, and due to an injury to my back, Richmond was too much of a drive for me to handle. So I started doing research and making calls. BVH did everything I needed to have done. *Everything*, from blood work, to AI to delivering the pups, and even giving me a heads up about the health of one puppy being dodgy. As it turned out, we lost him, but his brother is now a happy, healthy nine-month-old. In a piece of bad luck, and bad temper causing my hippopotamus mouth to overload my hummingbird behind, I managed to get us discharged from our former vet. I have never been happier about such an event in my life. I had been considering leaving that office for a number of reasons, the biggest being lack of available appointments, parking issues, and a distinct shift in the attitudes of the staff. I just hadn't had that 'time to pull the trigger on this one' event. I do not do change well. But, having it done for me... What I found at BVH was what I had known at the previous office. Caring people, concise care for my dogs, great follow-up, great parking, just... great. I had a chat with Dr. Szabo, asking her if we could change vets, explaining to her what had gone down. Of course. I was so nervous about it, and I shouldn't have been. I screwed up, and she was willing to give me another chance not to do it again. As I said, these folks are just wonderful, and are helping me get some skin issues under control without obsessing over something or pushing products and whatnot. Whatever they recommend, they do so with an explanation as to the reason for that specific product. We've been seeing them now for a little over a year, and I couldn't be happier.

The waiting room and examination rooms are very clean. Harley has seen Dr. Manning for almost every appointment. He is fantastic. He explains everything clearly, presents all options to you, and truly cares about his patients and their owners. We have always had fantastic interactions. Lastly, Bostic has fantastic hours. I find most vets close at 5pm, but Bostic understands that Pet Parents are busy and most employers won't let you go early for vet appointments. Bostic is open until 8pm on Monday's and Thursdays, which allows more flexibility in getting your pet in. I highly recommend Bostic for your fur babies!

We are extremely disappointed with our experience at this dog daycare. Our dog is high-energy,…read morefriendly, and loves everyone and everything--he wouldn't harm a fly. We enrolled him here specifically so he could stay socialized while my husband and I serve on active duty military, and we placed a great deal of trust in this facility to keep him safe. Unfortunately, our dog has now sustained two separate injuries while in their care. We understand and accepted the liability waiver; however, signing a waiver does not excuse a lack of supervision or preventative care. This most recent injury was the final straw, as there appeared to be little to no effort to prevent it from happening. What was most concerning was being told that the other dog involved only received a "warning" and was not removed, meaning it is still allowed to interact with and potentially injure other dogs. That is an unacceptable risk for any responsible daycare. To make matters worse, when concerns were raised, the receptionist responded by saying her dogs go there and nothing happens to them, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. When we requested to speak with a manager, we were told it would take 1-2 days, offering no immediate accountability or reassurance. We wanted this daycare to be a long-term solution for socialization and enrichment, but after being let down twice, we can no longer trust this facility with our dog's safety. We hope management takes a serious look at their supervision practices, incident response, and customer communication before another dog is hurt.
