HOWEVER, there are a few things that really stand out. First of all, I commend and admire the original planners and VISIONARIES who planned this Greenway; you can see the marvelous INTENT for this Greenway. But now, it looks like these places have been just plain neglected for a long, long time - years: weeds everywhere, LITTER EVERYWHERE, chipped paint and worn stucco, dead/sick/dying trees and shrubs everywhere. Not to be mean or dramatic, but I kept thinking this is what it would look like in the AFTERMATH of a natural disaster. Looks like there are numerous Community organizing efforts to upkeep the Greenway, but it is not enough - Parks and Rec needs to step in with professional gardening services, or close it down. One location, the Agricultural Garden's exit was locked. Happily a neighbor was working in the Garden and opened the lock for me to get out. I see that neighbors walk through the Greenway in mid-day because it was so beautifully fashioned originally. This was a truly a marvelous effort to restore the neighborhood, but it looks like the City is just not cleaning the streets - at all. Neglect, neglect, neglect of a wonderful Greenway.

Crawlers got in free, and so did adults, so admission was free for all three of us. I felt like we should at least buy something, so we bought our baby some grippy socks There's a ton to do inside, with different slides, crawl spaces, and even a trampoline. But the staff were honestly my favorite part of the visit. They were cleaning often, and when we arrived, there were some older kids in the infant/crawler area. The staff noticed and kindly asked them to leave that area. As a parent of a crawler, I really appreciated that they were paying attention. Then my husband managed to lose his wallet in the ball pit. The staff were so helpful and went through the ball pit inch by inch to help look for it. Searching a ball pit for someone's wallet is a lot to ask, and we were really grateful for how much effort they put into helping us. Such a fun place to spend time as a family. The kindness of the people working here really stuck with me.

During the first day of a holiday camp, the front door was unfortunately vandalized. Not their fault! Was is in their control is how they handled it. 1. We received no communication about the incident until we arrived for drop off. They should have sent an email as soon as they discovered the vandalism so we don't show up in person! 2. When I did arrive for drop off, I asked about the status of the glass replacement, code compliance, and timing for completion. The questions I asked were reasonable and directly tied to safety and planning as a working parent. Instead of receiving clear information or empathy, I was met with condescension and a dismissive attitude. At no point was there acknowledgment of the very real constraints families are navigating--jobs, schedules, and the need for reliable, high-quality educational programs like the ones Stemful provides. The conversation centered almost entirely on David's personal stress in managing the situation, rather than on transparent communication with parents who are impacted by it. He essentially told me to go away and stop asking questions. 3. When I called back later to inquire about the status of the glass, he doubled down on his attitude, said "aren't you the person that was here before?" and demanded the name of my camper so we can "get this taken care of". It was incredibly threatening in language and tone and I didn't even feel comfortable giving my child's name. While we eventually got a refund, I'm not confident that me or my camper will be treated with respect and care in David's presence.

This new location has a lot of great new tools and supplies for arts & crafts projects. It's an informal drop-in location that allows kids to discover, explore, and be hands-on with science experiments, small animals, or crafts/woodworking. The knowledgeable staff usually provides a couple of self starter, pre-configured fun projects at every session. Some past project examples have included sewing projects, building 9-volt battery based electrical circuits with switches, motors, & lights, dissecting a pig's heart, woodworking projects, and making mosaic designs with glass & mirrors. This is where I take my kid to make a safe, fun, and educational mess!

We had originally considered having a petting zoo, but after finding Bunny Gurus, we realized it was actually the better option for our party. Instead of a large setup with lots of different animals competing for attention, this gave the kids a more personal, hands-on experience with the bunnies. They were able to slow down, interact with them, and really enjoy the experience in a way that wouldn't have been possible with a traditional petting zoo. From the very beginning, the booking process was seamless. They responded quickly to my inquiry, answered all of my questions, and made everything incredibly easy. Their website clearly explained the different packages, and we chose the smaller package, which still included 10 adorable bunnies--more than enough for our party! The staff was absolutely wonderful with the children. They were patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the rabbits they care for. They shared fun facts about each bunny's personality and habits while encouraging the kids to gently interact with them, build trust, and bond with the animals. They made each child feel special by pointing out when a bunny seemed to like them, which really boosted the kids' confidence and made the experience even more meaningful. They brought everything needed for the setup, along with a huge variety of bunny-safe treats that kept the kids engaged throughout the event. The children loved getting to feed the rabbits, watch them do fun tricks with certain treats, and our birthday kids even got the opportunity to hold a bunny at the end! If you're looking for a unique, interactive, and memorable party experience, I can't recommend Bunny Gurus enough. It was such a special addition to our celebration, and both the kids and adults absolutely loved it!
