The staff is incredibly kind, patient, communicative, organized, and efficient. A special thank you to Sandy and Tina, who were so kind, accommodating, and helpful--even with a last-minute party. They made the entire planning process feel effortless. The entire staff working on the day of the party was absolutely amazing. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went perfectly. My daughter had an absolute blast, and so did all of her friends. The facility is clean, welcoming, affordable, and conveniently located. It's also thoughtfully designed for little ones of all abilities, and I really appreciated that non-walking babies are not charged. What truly sets Little Oceanauts apart is their exceptional service. They help unload everything from your car when you arrive, assist with setting up, decorate (using your decorations or some of theirs), and take care of all the cleanup afterward. They even pack up your belongings so neatly that it looks like they were never used! When the party is over, they have leftovers, drinks, and refreshments packed and ready for guests to take home. They truly think of everything, allowing parents to actually enjoy the celebration instead of worrying about all the details. I honestly can't say enough good things about Little Oceanauts. They exceeded every expectation and made the entire experience completely stress-free. They have earned every one of these five stars, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable birthday party experience!

He walked the entire park a few times. They had a cool netted structure for older kids to climb and it can be spun which was interesting. There are connected basketball courts and a lawn close by that I saw people playing with their dogs. Maybe it's a dog park? Overall, the park felt safe and was in the middle of a neighborhood, but so small we ran out of things to do for my 17 month old. The structure was also old and I could see the rusty bolts peeking through the broken metal parts. Don't think I'll go back but if it's already in your neighborhood then worth a short walk over and a short stay.

Review for Clubhouse rental-…read more You submit your request on the SF Park and Recs website and there are a bunch of restrictions (no jumpers, no helium balloons, etc). The rental is $90/hr and they tack on an extra fee ( I forgot what it was) for a SF park and rec person to be there monitoring the clubhouse while you host your event. They pretty much are out of the way while you have your party -- they sit in a room doing their homework. Parking - Plentiful on the street and no restrictions on time on the weekends. We choose this park because it was close off the freeway and because of available parking. You clean up the clubhouse (disposal of trash) into there dumpster outside. You get your deposit back in about 1.5 weeks. Bathroom - it's shared with the playground people but there is a separate entrance to go in from the clubhouse. Clubhouse itself is bright and airy with a high ceiling. They provide LIFETIME brand rectangular tables and chairs. (In terms of dimension of the tables -- when I emailed the recreation office, they did not know the dimension size). If you want to check out the clubhouse, you'll have to pay extra fee for them to opened it for you. Otherwise, it's LOCKED. Just because you rent out the clubhouse for a private event, the playground is still open to the public.

Looking for a quiet playground in San Francisco without the chaos? This hidden Sunnyside park is…read moreone of the best low-traffic spots for kids -- calm, clean, and actually relaxing. Not flashy -- just functional, peaceful, and easy with kids. It's not the biggest or most popular park in SF, but that's exactly why it works. It feels tucked into the neighborhood instead of crowded or overstimulating, which makes it way more manageable with little ones. We've had picnic days here where my baby just watches the dogs running around, and somehow it turns into its own little show -- simple, low-effort, and surprisingly perfect. If you've ever searched for a quiet park in San Francisco, a low-traffic playground for toddlers, or just somewhere you can actually breathe while your kid plays -- this is one of those spots. Good for: All ages (best for toddlers-~8) What matters: * Playground: Yes (rubbery cushion flooring -- great for little ones) * Baby-friendly: Open field for picnics + watching other kids/dogs * Bathrooms: Yes (each restroom has a changing table -- super helpful) * Dog-friendly: Yes (dogs allowed in the park, but not inside the children's play area) * Seating: Several large picnic tables + scattered benches * Shade: Very limited -- can get hot on sunny days * Parking: Limited -- expect to walk in or get dropped off * Terrain: Mostly flat with paved paths (easy for strollers and wheelchairs) * Accessibility: Wheelchair-friendly layout overall Real-life insight: This is one of those parks that doesn't stand out at first -- but once you're there, you realize how much easier it is than busier San Francisco playgrounds. Less chaos, more space, and a calmer overall vibe. Pro tips: * Go on an overcast day -- this park shines when it's cool out since there's very little shade * After rain, bring a towel so you can dry off the play structure and still get a full park day in * Best for low-key days when you want something simple, not overstimulating

Even for me! Some thing unique other than swings and slides. Gives the kids a chance to actually use their body and strength. Test their own abilities. Only thing I don't like is, the mats are all holey and broken on some areas. Dangerous when a kid trips or sprain their ankles. I informed my babies to watch out for it and avoid it. I hope the groundskeeper will see it and fix it.
