I walked-in on a Sun afternoon and Lily was kind enough to accommodate me. I was planning to seek acupuncture treatment for my ongoing neck/shoulder injury following vigorous high intensity workouts but most importantly my left hip joint following my attempt on indoor rock climbing, LOL. Using my limited command in Mandarin, I relayed my issues and points in my body where it was hurting to Lily and she immediately got into action. Lily was professional, patient and very detailed on answering my questions. I had immediate relief after the treatment and plan to have a follow-up in a couple of weeks. In short, I'd recommend! My back had significant swelling and pain post sport (to point where was struggling to put on shoes 4-5 days later) given historical disc injuries-- following a session with Adam the swelling in my back is so much better/have significantly more range of motion which accelerated my healing process tremendously (and will allow me to participate in an upcoming climbing/rafting/surfing trip). Going to Stefanie for an introduction into the practice was nothing short of amazing. I felt at ease with her almost immediately and she addressed all my questions and concerns prior to beginning the actual session. Going through my health history and current physical woes was easy to do with Stefanie. She even helped me recognize additional symptoms that I didn't explicitly bring up, as I'd accepted them part of my life, and addressed them as well. I had been experiencing severe symptoms and manifestations of chronic stress, including insomnia, digestive problems, depression, anxiety, irregular menstrual cycle and back pain. I needed help! I tried massages and psychotherapy to help with the stress, but nothing worked for much longer than the time during a treatment session.
