I went to this establishment after reading the stellar reviews. The place itself was on the 3rd floor (walk-up) and although a tiny suite, it was legit and clean. I walked-in on a Sun afternoon and Lily was kind enough to accommodate me. I was planning to seek acupuncture treatment for my ongoing neck/shoulder injury following vigorous high intensity workouts but most importantly my left hip joint following my attempt on indoor rock climbing, LOL. Using my limited command in Mandarin, I relayed my issues and points in my body where it was hurting to Lily and she immediately got into action. Lily was professional, patient and very detailed on answering my questions. I had immediate relief after the treatment and plan to have a follow-up in a couple of weeks. In short, I'd recommend! At first I wasn't sure what to expect. It was on the third floor of a WALK UP so be prepared to get the blood flowing . The place is tiny but cozy and very clean. I am usually shy and hate asking questions but felt comfortable asking Michelle about the acupuncture options and pricing. She was able to accommodate me on the spot even with tending to another client before. Michelle was very professional and informative. She was friendly and gentle. I had never done acupuncture before and ironically am not fond of needles even with one tattoo lol. This didn't hurt as she promised. The session lasted an hour in which I felt so relaxed and at the end felt as though I had been sleeping but I wasn't (not sure how to describe the level on relaxation that occurs). Michelle is amazing! I'm cursed with bad bouts of tendinitis/tennis elbow from my profession, as well as occasional numb tingling into my fingers. When I first visited Michelle, my right forearm was the size of Popeye's, swollen and inflamed from overuse of my forearm muscles. After one session with just my R arm, my swelling diminished so much the next day that it became smaller than my L forearm! I went to see Michelle the wonderful acupuncture expert!!!!!! I had a torn rotator cuff, which required surgery. I had EXCRUiTIATING PAIN in my right shoulder after the surgery, and didn't want to get addicted to pain medication, so I went for the acupuncture, after just a few treatments the pain went away like a MIRACLE. I truly believe the treatments not only alleviated the pain, but help my surgery heal faster. Now I'm as good a new. I also had a pain in my right hip, which was diagnosed as bursitis. Thank you yelp! Last Saturday after suffering from a head cold and zero energy I looked up and found an acupuncture clinic open on a Saturday. Dr. Ng was amazing! She was a bit late due to transportation issues,( the staff let me lie down in the treatment room while I waited when they probably saw how exhausted I was), but her treatment more than made up for the wait. She was kind, knowledgeable and generous. She worked on me for 1 1/2 hours to make up for her lateness and recommended some herbs. I left there with energy, visited a good friend and had a lovely dinner, when I thought I would have to go home and collapse a few hours earlier. I went back this week and was so relaxed I fell asleep in the treatment room (I, who suffer from insomnia). I will definitely go back and I recommend her highly.
