I walked-in on a Sun afternoon and Lily was kind enough to accommodate me. I was planning to seek acupuncture treatment for my ongoing neck/shoulder injury following vigorous high intensity workouts but most importantly my left hip joint following my attempt on indoor rock climbing, LOL. Using my limited command in Mandarin, I relayed my issues and points in my body where it was hurting to Lily and she immediately got into action. Lily was professional, patient and very detailed on answering my questions. I had immediate relief after the treatment and plan to have a follow-up in a couple of weeks. In short, I'd recommend! My back had significant swelling and pain post sport (to point where was struggling to put on shoes 4-5 days later) given historical disc injuries-- following a session with Adam the swelling in my back is so much better/have significantly more range of motion which accelerated my healing process tremendously (and will allow me to participate in an upcoming climbing/rafting/surfing trip). I was nervous going in (with a really tender back, was terrified to make it worse) but Adam was fantastic- highly communicative about areas of tension/what he was observing + reduced tension/improved circulation in a lot of adjacent muscles as well. I am a dancer/mover and I am generally pretty familiar with what is going on in my body. And I have seen physical therapists and chiropractors who have not been able to work in enough detail to help with my hip. So it was especially exciting to have Chelsey be able to so quickly diagnose and assist me. She made it look very easy to help heal this point in my body that has been nagging me for years.
