I could not be more impressed with my experiences with Little Furry Things pet sitting services. I will definitely be using their services again in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone living in the service area. Every single staff member I've interacted with has been extremely professional, kind and helpful. Every single message or request I've sent has been responded to and resolved within 24 hours which is amazing. Our sitter, Robin, took excellent care of our fur baby while we were away for about a week over Thanksgiving. I LOVED receiving the photo updates and cute descriptions of their visit. They definitely made me feel more comfortable, and I was confident that our cat was being well taken care of. Our sitter also went above and beyond by vacuuming the litter box area and removing all trash on her final visit. The client portal is very user-friendly and well designed. Customers are easily able to schedule their services, and the site allows for customization of the visit length and time. Staff also respond to requests or send pet-updates through the portal which get sent directly to your email. You can also see exactly when your sitter arrived / left. I'd also like to point out that the prices are very reasonable. Yes, there is a small holiday fee (7$ for me at least). Even so, my total came out to be considerably less than I was quoted with other services so I was able to splurge for some extra play time for my kitty. read more

We LOVE Little Furry Things. We've been happy customers for 3 months. Our dogs get 3 walks a week and come back happy and tired(!). Jesse was comfortable and knowledgeable with how to handle our two high-energy dogs that are often untrusting of new people. I left my cat, Sushi, in the care of a cat sitter for the first time last month, and was nervous about how it would go since she had never spent such a long stretch of time (1.5 weeks) mostly alone before and tends to get grumpy/needy when she does. Rhiannon was my LFT cat sitter and did a great job. I loved getting my daily check ins with pictures and the reassurance that she was eating, using the litterbox, and not destroying my apartment in vengeance for my absence. When I got home, spare litter around the box had been vacuumed, my litter genie had been emptied, and my cat seemed happy and well-adjusted thanks to Rhiannon's visits. Little Furry Things went over and above what could be considered "pet-sitting" during a two-week trip I made abroad in March 2018. The worst possible scenario I could have ever imagined came true. LFT was organized, helpful, genuinely concerned, responsive and responsible, communicative, and flexible. They did everything they could to try to help my wonderful cat. Samantha, my cat-sitter, was kind, observant, generous, and caring, keeping my up-to-date on how my cats were doing. * * * * * The only real matter of concern to me relates to the following. In the "My Info" section appears, at the end, the following discretionary stipulation: "If I cannot be reached in an emergency, I authorize the vet(s) listed in my profile to start treatment, and agree to be responsible for payment of any fees/costs incurred." [Yes/No] I did have the box checked "Yes." However, the cat-sitter did contact me long distance. The idea to bring my cat up to Blue Pearl, however, was not mine, and I did not explicitly authorize the treatment. In retrospect, the treatment there proved to be disappointing. There was only a very small possibility that the veterinarian could do anything to save my cat. (In fact, they did nothing to make matters better for my cat, such as stop the bleeding). But what remains most troubling for me was during the 45 or so minutes I was on the telephone with the cat-sitter and the emergency veterinarian, my cat was crying the entire time. Somehow I had fumbled and been unable to reach the hospice veterinarian organization, Lap of Love, to get them to come out as soon as possible. The cat-sitter had whisked my cat before asking me it was okay for her to do so. She obviously did, however, have my cat's welfare at heart, so I cannot blame her. It was an extraordinary situation, one unforeseen, in which my cat's health had changed from "of concern" to an emergency, all within the space of less than 12 hours, the last time the cat-sitter had seen her. My cat had lived with me (and my other cat) in my small apartment 10 years. It would have been comforting and much less stressful for both my cat and the cat-sitter to have had Lap of Love come out and put my cat to sleep. And I would have had a greater peace of mind, myself. * * * * * In other words, if I had to do this all over again, with a cat with serious chronic health issues, I would make it clear that if an emergency were to arise during my absence that, after discussion with the cat-sitter (preferably via Skype, etc.), I would have the end-of-life option/choice that a hospice organization such as Lap of Love provides. read more

I looked up Little Furry Things to recommend to a coworker, and just realized I never left a review, which would be appropriate since I am literally recommending them to other people! LFT took great care of my kitty, who is on the needy side. We had a few different sitters through a couple of years with LFT but they were all great with him and everyone was very reliable and thoughtful. My husband and I worked with multiple dog walking services over the course of our dog's life, and Little Furry Things provides so much more than others do. LFT did solo walks Monday through Friday for our dog Oscar, who had some anxiety/reactive issues, and was blind by the end of his life. Every day they sent us amazing photos and poetry-like updates from their walks. They were exceptionally trustworthy--we never had to worry that they would miss a walk or that someone new would step in without warning. And not only did they reliably walk our dog every day, they built a relationship with him. It was clear that they understood and cared about Oscar in a unique way. Oscar recently passed away, and their support and heartfelt sadness has been so helpful during our mourning process. We worked primarily with Maureen and Jesse, but had great experiences with all staff members. It is clear that everyone who works at LFT genuinely cares about the pets and the families they service. I am a long time customer and I have been using LFT for my two cats since 2016. The service has been consistently professional and good, eventhough the petsitters have changed along the way. They did increase their prices recently. A few points from my experience: 1. Consistent update for every visit with photos. 2. The cleanup was always done properly at the end of the trip (typically the trash can would be emptyed and floor sweept) 3. I like the 30 visit package since it is 10% off the listed price. 4. They send out reminders for holiday bookings given their availabilty, which I appreciate. read more

I emailed Little Furry Things in hopes of finding a dog walker that could handle my two GSDs: one with horrible walking skills and the other very reactive to dogs with a (strong) aversion to strangers. Jill emailed me back immediately saying she had the perfect employee in mind for my two. I have to say that Rachel has done wonders with Sophie. She's getting MUCH better about walking on a loose leash instead of pulling my arm off. Max, while still reactive, has been getting better recently, too. I know both of them appreciate the mid-day break and love spending time with her. THANK YOU! As others have said, the online booking system is great and they let me split up an hour walk so that both of them get 30 minutes. Rachel also keeps in touch with me by text, email or phone in case anything comes up and I like reading about their days on our personalized blog. How could I NOT give them 5 stars? I found this company through yelp when I was looking for someone to look in on my 2 cats while I went away for a 3 day vacation. Firstly, someone answered my email questions promptly and directed me to an online site where I could book appointments, fill out an online profile, etc for my pets. Super easy and great for someone who is busy and can't be on the phone during the work day. Mindy, my assigned sitter, came over for a complimentary introduction where I showed her around and let her meet the cats. She was great with them and asked the right questions. My cat took to her right away which I think is a good indication that someone is an animal person. I also have anxiety when leaving my pets behind, even when someone seems great but FLT's was awesome. They confirmed my appointment with me and Mindy would send me a link to a customized blog for my cats including pictures, what they did that day, and she even used I Can Has Cheezburger speak. I loved it! Everything looked great when I got back. She had emptied my litter champ and even swept up the area around the litter box. They also take credit cards and can charge it automatically before your visits to make it super easy! Highly recommended! read more

I love LFT! I found LFT in February through yelp and after reading the positive reviews, thought I'd give them a try. I have since used LFT 4 or 5 times and I will continue to use them for all of my upcoming trips. Heather in the office is amazing and is always quick to respond to my emails. Carol is my cat sitter I've had for my 1 year old kitty, Lula. Lula has some behavioral issues and Carol has been very understanding. I used to get stressed out leaving Lula on vacations but now I look forward to the blog post Carol writes after each visit. OK, I admit it. I am more than a little crazy when it comes to my 3 kitties. I know that no one is going to take quite the care of them that I do and spoil them as much but when I go away I need to know that whoever is taking care of them will come close. Jill who owns the business and Donna who cared for my kids on a recent trip are great to deal with, great to rely on, and just all around great! Donna took pictures of my kids every day and posted them along with her daily comments on a blog site. Then I got an email with a link to the site every day. I could just tell from my kids' faces and body language that they were happy. And when I got home they were well taken care of, fat and sassy. Donna also did some things around the house that I certainly appreciated. There is nothing negative at all to say. Prices were good, service was great, updates were timely. Donna takes wonderful care of my toothless, clawless, geriatric cat, Boney. I love the blog and when Donna had problems posting to the blog, she sent me a text update. I recently had to cut a trip short due to a death in the family and I received a credit for the unused visits and a sweet note from Donna. I didn't expect a credit and was delighted. Everything is neat and clean when I return home, but most of all Boney is well cared for. And of course, the online appointment system is great. This service is truly wonderful. We used them for the first time this past weekend and were more than pleased. First of all, the questionnaire that new clients are required to fill out is very extensive and thorough which made me, as a pet owner, feel much more secure leaving my pets in their care because they clearly know ALL the questions to ask from having 2 vets listed, the name of a contact with keys to your home, medication schedules, etc. And then, THE BLOG! Your sitter takes pictures of your pet and send you daily blog updates with photos and details of the day's adventures. I know I was supposed to be on vacation but getting those updates was one of the best parts of the whole vacation! Furry Little Things has been an amazing service for us! Rhiannon was the first sitter we ever had through them, and was also the first "stranger" we have ever had watch our kitties. My husband and I were a little hesitant about the whole process, but Rhiannon made us totally comfortable from the start and far exceeded our expectations! She has watched our kitties many times (it's been about 3 years now) and every time, we know they are in good hands. She is great with communicating and texting if needed and writes the best little notes as check-in reports for us to read while we are away. Not to mention the great photos she attaches with them!! We used LFT's service for our two cats over the holidays and it was an excellent experience. Jill was nice and very responsive and the business overall appears buttoned up and dependable. The PetCloud app was also a great addition because it would tell me when the sitter was going to be at the house and then she would update it after the visit. I was pretty stressed out about leaving my 18 year old cat with health issues for 10 days. LFT took that stress away. Heather in the office was great in helping me get everything taken care of. LFT takes the worry out of being away from your pets. After years of trusting my cats to friends when I'm away, I tried LFT. They were worth every penny. The caretaker not only did the necessities (food, water, litter), she really paid attention to my cats - giving the frisky one play time and giving my older cat snuggles. I was amazed when I returned and neither of my cats were stressed/upset at all! That's amazing. Since that first time, I've used LFT twice more. Little Furry Things has been great with providing excellent care for our people-shy/anxious maltipoo Scooter. Scooter has always been shy/anxious around strange people, and can take a while to warm up. Jenny, our walker, came by for the initial consultation and was extremely knowledgeable and patient with Scooter. She made time in her schedule to walk with me and Scooter so he could get comfortable before she began taking him by herself on a regular basis. Jenny has been patient, knowledgeable, reliable and extremely friendly, and I know Scooter gets super excited for his walk every day. We really couldn't be happier with the services provided. They post regular blogs from the dog walks so you can see what your dog is up to, and are very responsive to any requests/considerations. If you have a dog that is shy around people or has any other sort of behavioral quirks, I highly recommend little furry things, in our experience the caregivers have been overall fantastic and very understanding. We're moving to California soon and hope we will be able to find a walker service and walker as good as Little Furry Things and Jenny! read more

I'm admittedly a bit of an overprotective dog mom, but I've been really happy with how well Little Furry Things has taken care of my babies. I get walks while I'm at work during the week and it's really great to know my dogs get a little walk break while I'm gone. They even give them a kong with peanut butter after the walk. I'm also totally confident with their ability to handle my high energy pit bull who can be a handful sometimes. I've had two walkers since I've been here, previously Guy and now Samantha, and sometimes Robin walks them when Samantha's gone.
