They were kept in outdoor concrete kennels for months at a time. Pj rarely cleaned the kennels and many time the dogs were covered in poop when I arrived to get them out on walks. There was ZERO regard for their welfare. Pj is a vile human. She yells at dogs and treats them horribly. I witnessed this several times FIRST HAND. Please, please do not take your dogs here. The real review that matters is how my pups behaved when I got home. Normally when I go to the boarders, they are clearly stressed when they are brought from their kennels. The superstore chain is the worst. They bark and whine like they've been stuck there for years. Under Brittany's care, it was nothing but licks and tail wags! She's a member of our family now and I wouldn't trust our pups with anyone else. Ever.

He is great at communicating updates with daily videos and always has pick up and drop off details nailed down. He comes home happy and tired and is clearly well cared for. I've been to other daycares where the dogs look dazed coming out. Camp Crockett understands pack management and anytime there's been an issue with one dog, it gets fixed immediately. I am grateful every day to have a safe and fun place for my pup to go and hang out with friends.

I got all of the vaccinations up to date, screened for parasites, and over email confirmed with the business that they were uploaded to my profile. Then the DAY BEFORE I was set to drop the pups off I got a call saying I needed to come in for a day camp as my pups hadn't been in for 6 months (it had been 8 months). Obviously, this was not possible, as I was leaving the next day. I got this information over voice mail. So I called back. And left a message. No returned call. So I called back. No return call. Now I'm starting to panic, called again the next day and left messages. TOTALLY GHOSTED. Finally, I got a passive agressive text - "yeah, this is our policy, sorry". After over 7 years of boarding my pups with this business this was extremely rude and insulting behavior. I was totally left in a lurch, considering having to cancel my trip and suffer financial losses due to the late hour. What kind of business does this to a long standing customer? Unfortunately, these people can not be relied upon, were rude and really caused me stress and dismay. Wholeheartedly do NOT recommend anymore.

I called another service (Dallas and Pals) but they were full, and recommended Zak. I'm so glad it worked out that way! Zak came over the next evening, met my lab and interviewed me about my dog-- what she likes, what she hates, her bad habits (oh yes, I think all pets have at least one) and then went over the pricing and daily schedule with me. Since then, my dog has been a "regular" with Crazy Misfits. Zak comes over during the day, picks up my dog for a couple of hours of "play time," and has been super-accommodating about special requests or an occasional "REALLY late day." My dog loves him- she bounces when she sees him. The billing is twice monthly, and you can pay online as well as directly by check. Zak is very approachable-- I appreciate I can contact him by text. I have nothing but good things to say-- knowing that my dog has been able to get out and play with her Crazy Misfits friends helps me feel less like a horrible owner for having to work so much (but that's how we bring home the kibble.)
