    I hate to have to write this review, but I believe that it is important to know what you're getting when you choose a business to spend your money with. We recently moved from Louisiana back to the Lubbock area, and wanted to use a more locally owned/operated moving company. Little Guys was very responsive and friendly, and gave us a fair rate to move our stuff. We did a walk through our house over the phone, detailing was was in the house. We were told that to fit it all in one truck, we might have to lose a couple of items, but other than that it should be no problem. In fact, we even postponed our move a week to accommodate them and what they had open on the schedule. We were to pack everything, and they would load and transport it. Move day came, and all of our items were packed and ready. The two guys drove in the night before, but did not show up at my house to start loading until nearly 10:00 AM. I had told the company that my plan was to help them get loaded, and then drive to Lubbock that evening. Starting at 10:00 AM already put the day way behind. I had also rented a 6x12 trailer to take anything extra, as well as our riding mower. The guys asked me to try and take as much, or all, of the extra items in the garage, such as yard tools, extra boxes, etc. I did not load the trailer floor to ceiling, and front to back, but it was pretty full. By the time it had reached mid afternoon, it was obvious that they were not going to get done anytime soon. I talked with the guys about leaving before they were done, and they were okay with it. They told me that they thought everything left should fit with no problems. So, I finished loading up the rest of the trailer and my truck and headed out. Late that night, I received a call from the crew that they were not able to get it all in the truck, and would be leaving 3 items there. They were a small piano, a gas powered fire pit, and our brand new treadmill. I was not at all happy about that, but decided I would wait to talk to the manager in Lubbock the next morning. Next morning, I was not able to get in touch with anyone at Little Guys. Neither the moving crew or the office answered when I called or texted. Finally heard back from the manager. He was apologetic for the 3 items, and offered a couple hundred price reduction to cover what it would cost to either go get the items or sell them. Although I did not like this, it would have to work. During this time, a friend went by the house to check on things. She went through the house and sent photos of all of the things they had simply left. I was pretty shocked at how much they left in the house. Things like a ladder, step stools, a $100 trash can, card tables, mirrors, fishing gear, and our disassembled trampoline. That's a lot of stuff! I called the Lubbock office back, and the employee asked me to email the photos to them of the things left behind, which I did. He said he would have the manager call me back when he had a chance. He called a bit later, and was immediately short and defensive. I expressed my displeasure with how much of our stuff was left behind, especially when we were told by the crew that only 3 items were left behind. I really do not like to be lied to, especially when I am the one paying the bill for the service. The manager promptly told me that they would not do anything to help out. I asked if they could rent a small truck (at my expense) to bring the rest of the stuff, and he refused. He said it was my fault because we had more boxes than he thought we would. Crazy thing is, we had gotten rid of a ton of large items that were included in the original quote from them. In fact, I had talked with their office 2 days before the move and gone over the new list with them. Did not matter to him, it was my fault, not theirs. He expected payment when they showed up, and that was that. Terrible customer service. Would not ever use them again.

    Ruined my furniture. Never resolved the issue even after paying for the damage insurance.
