True, the service was extremely slow (if you come here, you should estimate being there for at least 2 hours), but the waiter was absolutely adorable. The restaurant is rather small, and it got filled up rather quickly. So if you're planning on eating there, especially if there are to be more than two of you, I recommend you make a reservation. The ambiance was fun too, with all sorts of decorations, from rosaries to what could be either a flail or a chained mace, and the music was very pleasant, and not too loud, which allowed us to be able to talk comfortably together without having to shout, which is always nice. The prices might seem a little high (about 7 euros for a cocktail, and 15+ euros for your main dishes), but the plates were quite filling and we all left the restaurant feeling stuffed and happy. A definite recommend for a fun, relaxing time.

However, our group of 9 people was turned away and we were told we couldn't be seated because "there was no space". I mean, I could clearly see several empty tables. Weather was bad, we had kids in tow, and after a busy day we were ready to eat some good food and head back home. It's a shame we couldn't do it here. Gladly though, I was able to find a nice Italian restaurant right around the corner with great food, amazing service and as accommodating as they could (consider they were indeed quite packed, very unlike Cafe Latino).

What stood out to me was discovering Plumette is also owned by the folks behind the coffee shop next door, Lazy Bear. The mixture of velvet, dark woods, dried flowers, and hues of glamour had me in awe. With a corner bar fully prepped to make some of the best cocktails you've ever had are just a mere order away. Plumette offered some of the best drinks I've ever had. If you're looking for a signature cocktail they proudly serve a drink called The Plantation. A few ingredients within the cocktail were amber rum, marula, lime juice, pineapple juice emulsion, peruvian bittern, and free coffee seeds. It may not have the "wauw" interior you'll find in some other places but it's definitely more casual, friendly and budget-proof than the super hip places you'll find in the neighborhood. They've got so many offerings, quaint decor on every floor, various places to sit, including a rooftop. It's definitely a touristy thing to do but with over 2,000 beers to choose from, who cares?
