I don't know how long Little Italy has been in Glenside but we just discovered them in 2024. We used to order from Vinny's in Wyncote and after they closed we tried everywhere we knew about and wasn't thrilled with any of them. When we started using online delivery we discovered this place and decided to try it. It has been consistently great. It's hard to take a good photo of takeout food and I had already taken a bite out of my bread before I thought of it. Today we had Fettuccine Alfredo and an Eggplant Parm sandwich. Both were great. The Fettuccine Alfredo was delicious and and the salad was crisp and fresh. No bad pieces of lettuce. The bread I have gotten from other pizza delivery has been mediocre at best. Sometimes just a hoagie roll drenched in garlic butter. Ugh. This bread is like a garlic knot but made flat and cut into wedges. My husband got the Eggplant Parm sandwich and he said it was great! We have ordered from here a few times now and some other things we ordered were a Pizza Steak, a Cheeseburger, Plain Pizza, an Italian Stromboli, Plain Pizza, and a Sausage Stromboli. I really liked the pizza, a lot of veggies, which I appreciate, but it did feel like the pizza was so heavy that everything just kept falling off with every bite. The fries were horrible, you can tell they are the frozen crinkle cut fries you can get at the grocery store. Definitely would not get those again, but I would go back for pizza. read more

Live a few minutes away from Little Italy and this is my first time here. Wow I was missing out, this place is a hidden gem. Employees are super nice and it was so easy to order. Small cheese pizza & wings. I placed my order online for convenience, food was ready at time of pickup. Soooo, the pizza crust is thin and crunchy similar to baked pita bread. It's not my choice of crust but it satisfied my palate. Not much sauce on the pizza which made it dry. I'd prefer sauce on the side for dipping purposes. The wings were cooked well, not chewy and the buffalo sauce wasn't overbearing. Overall, even with my dislike for the crust I was satisfied. I found Little Italy on a fluke. I had driven by a bunch of times. I was running errands and was starving. Stopped in and got some slices. I started eating in the car. I thought this is really good. So twice we've received burnt Stromboli. It was literally so dry and entire bottom was burnt. I did call and let them know and they asked if we want another Stromboli or a credit but I declined both. Lesson learned. read more

Just tried this place for the first time. Kept it simple: medium pie with green olives. Special instructions: well done and easy on the olives. Def went easy on the olives. However, not well done enough. Had to stick it under the broiler for a few mins when I got home. After that, son and I both enjoyed it. read more

I have been ordering from Little Italy Pizza regularly for over a year now, and it really is the best pizza place in the area. The pizzas and Stromboli's are amazing (LOVE cheesesteak pizza and Stromboli, and basic pepperoni). Meatballs, wings, chicken tenders, cheesesteaks, ceasar salad - I've never ordered anything here that wasn't delicious! This is my favorite pizza place maybe ever!! Their Trentonian pizza is my absolute fav but I also love their Sicilian which comes in a close second to Pizza Box. My son loves their cheesesteaks and they must've changed their chicken because last time I got a chicken Caesar I didn't care for it but now the chicken is so flavorful I barely need dressing! And they give you so much too. I love getting one on fridays and grabbing a slice of Sicilian but unfortunately they don't always have it [in slices] that's my only complaint! I have lived in Glenside for approximately 15 years. Being a true pizza lover, I have sampled every pizzeria within a ten mile radius. There are several that I visit on a regular basis, however, most I have tried once or twice and sadly have never gone back. For people like me, good pizza is one of life's truest pleasures. It is in this spirit that I am happy to report that Little Italy is truly a diamond in the rough. This place has changed ownership so often the past few years that I almost didn't try it because the pizza under the last several owners has been nondescript and underwhelming. I live close by, so late one night, on my way home I stopped in. The first thing that struck me was the cleanliness of the establishment. Having a background in foodservice, it is always the first thing that I notice. Floors, equipment and countertops were all spotless. Secondly, I noticed the slice pie, which to an experienced eye tells a lot. Let me say that the pizza exceeded my expectations! This pizza is old-school in the best sense of the word. It took me 5 tries to find a pizzeria around Glenside that actually made stromboli the way a stromboli is meant to be made (rolled into a cylinder - not a pizza folded in half like a calzone is). And that pepperoni stromboli tasted perfect. The NY style pizza was not worth the money. It was thinner than thin. It was like a dusting of sauce and cheese on a floppy tortilla. The buffalo wings were also pretty weak in flavor and in quality. Not a lot of meat to them, kind of small, and the 'hot' sauce tasted weaker than Frank's Red Hot.
