Hubby took me here for a surprise after a long day at work. He was hoping to brighten my evening after a long mental work week and mind you still have 2 more days to go..... But this was such a lovely surprise! The receptionist upfront was super sweet and helpful showing me all the pieces that I could chose from for the tragus area. I decided to go with a cute flower it's like a really pretty light blue to match with the other earrings I have in my ear already. The gentleman that help me did the earring change, was super chill and quick also. The price was $40 for the ring and changing it. Hubby did tip him also why not? My artist was Lefty and he was very professional and clean, I felt comfortable with him completing my tattoo. It was not very detailed, just a simple ankle bracelet tattoo. I recently moved to North Carolina and was looking for a new tattoo artist to get some work done. I had someone recommend this place to me so I checked it out. I had an idea of what I wanted but needed something drawn up for me. Solomon was able to put it all together for me. I had a photo and an image that I wanted combined together and he did a great job of putting them together into a cohesive tattoo. Solomon did a great job of drawing up my idea and his line work was clean. I brought headphones so I could zone out, but they were completely unnecessary. We just bullshitted through the entire tattoo and it was a lot of fun chatting with him. Very happy with the outcome. I LOVE this piercing place, I only had my lobes pierced when I was a kid before coming here and I've only come here to get all my additional piercings from this place. There's two piercers and both are professional, great talkers, down to earth, and informative. December 2021 was when I first came to get my second lobe and helix piercings on both sides of my ears. Wait wasn't too long, I would say about 20 min since other people were there and I went on the weekend. They got a copy of my ID and I had to fill out a form asking about medical questions and consent and shortly picked out my jewelry. I really like the jewelry selection they have, I feel like for the prices they're a really good price, I feel like the jewelry is high quality and inexpensive and reasonable. I had the other piercer (I forgot their name) but they made the process quick and easy. February 2023 I got my conch and then a third lobe and second helix piercing on my left ear! Same process as the first time, had my ID copied and filled out some medical forms and then went to pick my jewelry. I went on a weekday and the wait was probably only 5-10 minutes. Tuna pierced it and he was great at trying to reassure me of the pain for my piercings since I'm not good with needles. Overall, would highly recommend to everyone who wants additional piercings. I think the price is unbeatable for the jewelry that you get and the service. read more

Well, 2 years later... Yesterday I brought my best friend in to see the best piercer In Greensboro...TOPHER!!!! My friend got a helix and tragus piercing. She was a tad bit nervous. I went by here a couple weeks ago to get a piercing and it went great. I arrived on a Sunday around 11:30 and there wasn't a wait for piercings. It did start to get busy as I was leaving so there could be a short wait at busier times. The piercer only takes walk ins but if you want a tattoo I believe you have to make an appointment. I felt that the shop was very clean and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The piercing was quick and not very painful at all! My ears healed quick with the instructions I was given for cleaning. I would definitely recommend coming here for a piercing! read more

Long story short: Jaime and Topher thought they " let me go now " and were on the phone talking vile and disgusting about me and their experience with me. I would NEVER want to spend money at a location that doesn't value or treat their customers right. Especially with their piercings or service that they provide in doing so. Tuna & Topher & Jaime were the associates I dealt with at this location who provided a TERRIBLE experience. I've got Multiple piercings at this location... all that were incorrect , needed to be redone- rejected , changed jwery incorrect size or have had some type of complications. Tuna did a jewelry change for me for my clit piercing. Topher talked about tuna doing my piercing incorrect and how he's ready for him to retire. Tuna did do my piercing incorrectly, put an incorrect size in a piercing I've had. They gave me a free jewelry change and took care of it after I had complications with jewelry they put in. Only worked with Topher after that, I had dermals that were coming out, holes started to close up. I was told from 9-9:30 they were unable to see me. As they close @10 and were cleaning up @9:05 and were no longer seeing people. This location does not take appointments or reservations , asked what's the easiest way to be seen or how to book as they are first come first serve. No avail. They kept saying we're telling you the same thing and i asked Im just trying to figure the best way to have this problem that arised from you all and they made it seem like i was being difficult. I heard Topher and Jaime on the phone bashing me , belittling me and make fun of the conversation I had with them as Topher thought he hung up the phone but he did not. I work in Customer Service and I am applaud that a place of business would TALK about a customer like that. I called back to let them know I heard everything they were saying about me & when I asked Jaime how she would feel to hear what I just heard especially coming from a place of business bashing a customer- said she confident and doesn't care what anybody says about her. I do not feel the same , Sorry im not as confident as you Jae and find it offensive that a employee talks about you in that manner because they are being "difficult ". This is not a place of business, nor would I want anybody to experience the experience I've had with LIttle John's Tattoo. I will be reaching out to higher management or seeing what further actions I can take because nobody should have to go through what I went through ... especially at this Tattoo / piercing shop. Their behavior is disgusting and they should be ashamed to be operating as a business with this type of manner or employees. read more

Some of the people seem nice but I got my first ever tattoo from a man name Chris and I'm incredibly upset with how I was treated. I had stated it was my first time getting a tattoo, I filled out the paperwork and labeled that I was prone to fainting, The front desk person didn't alert my tattoo artist at all about such a thing, thankfully I was about to catch it and was given a few minutes to rest. THIS IS THE BAD PART !! My tattoo wasn't what I wanted. I had came in and explained what I had wanted, he said "so you want blending?" And I was confused and re explained what I wanted and told him I didn't know what that meant but I wanted what I was explaining. After everything, I sat up to see my tattoo.. and it wasn't what I asked for. it was a fade in way darker colors than I had asked for- When I alerted to the fact I was upset I was told "you asked for blending." and gave me rude looks, I stated that he was the one who brought up blending and how I said I didn't know what that meant and he again said "no. You said blending." I was basically continuously gaslit by him into thinking that what I got was what I had asked for which it WASNT! He folded up PLASTIC WRAP And put it on my tattoo and then taped it down, when I tell you, this was a HORRIBLE experience I mean it. I wasn't even told how to properly take care of it or anything. When I wanted to tell the front desk about the issue I had he was hovering by me so I wasn't able to speak a word about my upset feelings. I do not recommend this place at all!! read more

I came in for first time lobe piercings and everyone was super nice! I read that walk ins were fine, but we waited for almost an hour and stood around confused for the entirety of the time. I wish they had told us around how long it would take but that's ok! Tuna was wonderful and it took literally a few minutes to get my ears pierced. This is a very good shop! It is clean, I felt welcome and safe. The artist, Gabe Sandy, was very nice, calm and helpful regarding where to place the tattoo, since I was a bit undecided on that. He chatted with me during the tattooing and was very friendly. The tattoo is amazing and incredibly detailed, he is a truly great artist! Besides that, I made small talk with the receptionist and piercer Avery, who was incredibly sweet, and two other artists, one with lots of face tatts and another with short blond hair. Horrible service !! Me and my sister got pierced BY THE bald guy with gages named TUNA. He pierced her piercings too close together and he refused to fix it ! I've been considering a nipple piercing for a while now, and Little John's made it easier than I expected! Their piercing appointments are walk in only as far as I know and the parlor was open until 10, which was nice. I still had to wait for a bit when I actually went to get pierced, but it wasn't anything outrageous. Their waiting area also had a cool ambiance to it, which made waiting a little easier. The piercer was knowledgeable, quick, and professional. He was able to answer my questions and provide good recommendations, and made me feel at ease, especially since the nipple is a relatively scary place to get pierced for most people. In addition, the receptionists/front desk people were great too. I had called ahead and she was as friendly on the phone as she was in person. Other than that, the piercing was also very affordable overall, which surprised me at first. Called and was able to make an appointment last October, when the appointments for piercings were needed. Currently when my husband asked if he needed to make an appointment for a piercing this week they said walk ins were fine, no appointment needed. Went in for 2 piercings on my ears and they pierced my ears too close. Asked for them to fix it and they declined. They pierced below the dot they marked and said it was my fault for moving. Very dissatisfied with the work. Unprofessional and rude as well. The staff was very brusque and unhelpful. I was told that I should come in for a price quote for a tattoo I wanted on my forearm, and when I brought in the image on a USB drive, they simply said, "We don't use those." The person in front of me was also spoken to in a very unfriendly manner. Several years ago, I did receive a tattoo from them, but the business has changed greatly since that time. They no longer have computer terminals from which they can print images. The woman who helped me was nice, but the man who was involved with piercings, who interjected, was rather rude. Moreover, their prices are not competitive with other Tattoo Parlors. In fact, the tattoo I wanted was quoted as $60 higher than another place asked for the exact same one; just an image found online of an equation. read more
