Came here first last September for Friday the 13th and got my first tattoo. It was a great day and I got a traditional rose by Larry Wayne. His work was fast and neat. Solid lines. After that I got home and started trying to think of what to get next time and eventually made up my mind to get an elephant head. Same as last time, very quick and clean and just an all around good day. Since then I've gotten my forearm tattooed by Nate Hall and it all still looks brand new. These guys are honest working people too, they will tell you if your tattoo idea needs to be changed and if it would look the way it needs to when you come in and won't let you get a regrettable tattoo! The artists at this shop are all super down to earth dudes who will sit and talk to you for hours and are all about keeping the environment super welcoming at the shop (unlike other shops I've been into). They're just regular dudes who are into punk rock and doing the best American traditional work in this part of North Carolina. I highly recommend going there for any work you may want. read more

If you're looking for a rad traditional tattoo, look no further! Steve-o Reno will go above and beyond to get the job done. I got a god awful tattoo from a shop in Durham about a year ago. I didn't think that there was any way it could EVER look good. I was referred to Steve-O by a friend, and oh my god, am I glad! He's a GREAT artist and does it for a reasonable price. I had a previous black and white tattoo colored by Nate, and it is absolutely gorgeous - technically he is insane, and he'll help steer you in a direction so that your piece ends up being better than you imagined it walking in. Seriously though y'all: Listen to him. The man is great at what he does, technically and artistically. He will make your idea look better than you will, so let him.
