My child loves coming to the dentist because it's a very relaxed environment and all the staff are wonderful. From the front office to the staff in the back, they ensure that the children are well taken care of. The dentists are just as great and they are all very professional. I love that they work well with my insurance plan and I pay little to nothing. They also have great prizes for the kids at the end of the appointment. Brought my son here so to address his cavities. Dr. Amir looked at his x rays, and these are the only words he shared with me: "Who's brushing his teeth?" I said I am. He said "Okay, you can go home." Do not bring your kids here if you want to speak to a REAL dentist that cares about your child's TEETH. I took my 10yr son for a routine checkup. They informed me that he had two cavities and a baby tooth that required extraction. I requested that they only fix the cavities since the tooth would eventually fall out on its own. Dr. Caroline Lin proceeded to fix the cavities, and after that, my son started crying and screaming. I checked what was happening, and she extracted the tooth without my consent! The assistant claimed it was a misunderstanding. I strongly advise against taking your children here; they lack compassion for children. read more

I would recommend this place a thousand times over again . My sons original dentist was giving me some issues about him having a secondary insurance, so I randomly called Little Kids dentistry in South Gate to see if I can book an emergency appointment because I figured my son had a cavity They were able to set me up with the same-day appointment within an hour. When we first walked into our appointment, immediately we noticed how cool the office was. My son was so excited for the slide and the play car they have as soon as you walk in. The facility is also very clean .My son is three years old and is terrified of the dentist . They have not been able to get him to be calm for X-rays , and let me just say , little kids dentistry changed that today ! The X-ray tech was so sweet, and fun . My son took "pictures of his teeth " without a problem . My son ended up needing to get a cap on his tooth and they were also able to take care of that within one visit. My son was of course scared but the nurses helping out were so kind and talking him through the procedure. The dentist himself was also very kind and very fast and efficient. This will definitely be my primary dental office from now on . read more

First time here, I spoke to Alejandra over the phone and she was very pleasant and very efficient answering all my questions, I didn't want to take my daughter to just any dentist. I read the previous reviews and was a little hesitant still about bringing her here but decided to come in anyway. I was able to get a same day appointment and walked right in, the x ray tech was nice and gentle with my daughter. The place is clean and the equipment looks up to date, they have a small little play area for the kids and the rooms a very nicely decorated. What a great overall experience we had in our new pediatric dentistry. When you first walk in the colors are so welcoming and vibrant, they are kid approved. You can find seating down the hall going towards the xray area there's plenty of cushioned benches to sit. The xray tech was very warm and so was the tech performing my child's teeth cleaning. The dentist was super sweet and explained my child's upcoming extractions in detail while considering my child's high anxiety in a dental setting, she was discreet and pulled me aside before sharing with my kid. The front office admin girls were super awesome with asking my kid questions and offering swag to choose from and really outdid themselves with the cute things we were offered. I loved going to this dentist office for my boys but today's experience was bad. The lady gave me the dental plan for my child and stated he needed to get some teeth extracted. I repeatedly stated to her that I did not want the extractions done , just the fillings he needed. I preferred for the teeth to fall on their own since he didn't have any pain so there was simply no need for them to have pulled them out. Dad went into the exam room with him and understood they were just going to do fillings since I had already previously told the lady NO EXTRACTIONS. I see my son come out of the room with a tooth necklace around his neck and 3 teeth inside of it, AFTER I CLEARLY STATED NO EXTRACTIONS. It's very upsetting to know there's clearly nothing I can about it since they pulled his teeth out already but I did not like how today's visit went. read more

Fun reception area to get the kids' mind off the dentist! The doctors were not only courteous and professional but very willing to explain the whats the hows and the why's. I was reluctant to come here as a new patient but so glad I did. My kid had a lot of cavities and rather than shaming us as parents, she provided me with additional tools and tips to prevent cavities rather than just encouraging to floss and brush which is something that I already did daily. As an added bonus they unnecessarily gave me as a parent a welcome gift too! There is some inconsistency on the front staff attentiveness but was not an issue for me as long as what needs to get done is done smoothly and without interruption to my kid's care. read more
