Located on the first floor of The Source OC, this replaced the high end consignment store and offers clothing for women and kids. The styles are whimsical and fun, often featuring popular characters like Mickey, Snoopy, and others on the clothes. The pieces are from Korean and Asian brands, which is great for those looking for K-fashion without shopping online. Pricing is fairly comparable to some of the Korean brands I've seen online. I would note that some of the items are one size or may run small, due to differences between Western and Asian sizing. There are some items that are oversized and you may be able to get away with wearing them if you're slightly bigger than an Asian S/M. I have yet to purchase something from the store, but they always have interesting things in store and they have a sale rack out front whenever I've walked by. One word. OVERPRICED. First of all, I bought a super small ring for $10 and it broke the next day. Also, I bought a pair of these sandals for $35 (not including tax). It was cute, but wasn't the best quality. However, since I wouldn't be going to the Korea anytime soon... I bought it believing it was slightly overpriced. I came home and found out that at Korea, they were under $10... I understand the trip to Korea and back isn't easy, but quadruple the original price is way overpriced. I'm Korean and have been to Korea many times, so I know approximately how much/where they get their items from. It's just way too overpriced. I visited Little Light clothing store in Buena Park and had a great experience. I always make sure to stop by when I'm at Source Mall, and was thrilled to find out they had opened a location in LA. During my visit, I purchased a cardigan and a pair of jeans, although I'm not usually a fan of jeans. The employee assured me that they were very popular and suggested I try them out at home and return them if I wasn't satisfied. However, when my husband went back to the store to exchange the jeans, he was told that it had been over a month since the purchase and they couldn't offer a refund or credit, even though we were originally told otherwise. We were disappointed with their lack of clarity regarding their policies and poor customer service. (They didn't explained it must be 1 week before but my husband just realized that they put their policy on the wall) Even they could give us a half of credit, we were totally fine. My husband felt uncomfortable and just wanted to leave the jeans without receiving a refund or credit. we no longer feel comfortable shopping at Little Light. We hope that they improve their communication and problem-solving skills in the future. Overall, our experience was unsatisfying. read more

The Buena Park stuff is kind of all-over-the-place and I think the customer service is not as great there, but the Rowland one is more "boutique-ish" and fun to look around. The quality of the clothing and some other items are so-so. Definitely a hit or miss type of place. Admittedly, many of them are overpriced, however, I bought some accessories that were really cute and not too expensive. I feel they will last. Also, I was very impressed by the kindness of the owner working at the Rowland location. She's incredibly patient, accommodating, and friendly with everyone who comes in. Doesn't treat you nice just cause you buy something. In terms of product quality, I would have to say the selection is about a 3/5 rating, because a lot of the items are passable and not stuff you may actually want to buy, but if you look, you are bound to find something nice that's reasonably priced. read more

I walked into the Madang Courtyard location in Koreatown, simply looking to buy a keychain with my friend. I was minding my business looking at keychains when the saleswoman came over to me. She started off with what I thought was a compliment, which was that was my face was small and pretty. But then she continued to comment on my body, telling me to go on a diet and that if I lost weight I would be prettier. Based on my most recent experience here, I believe that these people scammed me. I had regretfully bought a small plastic ring and bracelet for my daughter that had cost me over $20. Yes, it was my fault for not being previously aware of the high price, but when I had decided to return the two items right after purchasing them, I had been told that all purchases were final and nonreturnable. There was no mention of this policy before I had purchased the items. The items are of mediocre quality as well, despite them being "custom made". Overall I had a very unenjoyable ordeal at this establishment and wouldn't recommend going here. read more

One of the people here (might be the owner?) is super friendly and nice and remembers me because I've come in a few times. They have a cute selection of products from Korea. I bought some really cute croc decoration pins, a pop socket, a ring, a purse, a cute des garcon looking pin, and earrings here. It's a really nice atmosphere and I love to see all the things they have. As for people complaining about prices - it is on the pricier side but I understand that the US dollar is worth more than korean won and there is a difference in cost of living here vs there. In addition shipping to the US can be very expensive. I like supporting this small business because they are friendly, nice, and have cute items. Cute clothes but overpriced and can be found easily on AliExpress. Despite this, I was a regular until my last (particularly poor) experience, where when I told the saleswoman (i believe she was the owner) that I wanted to purchase a dress on their mannequin, I was told that I was too big to fit into it (it was one size fits all, which means it was roughly a small). I offered to try it on but wasn't allowed and in the end was not allowed to purchase it at all. I'm familiar with one size items from Korea and Japan and knew it would fit me since I own quite a few already. Today is Thanksgiving day, and we come to LA for a family trip. Happen to see this cute store and decide to check it out, my daughter checking out the kid ring, and there's two teens next to us. The old lady I think is the boss walk by and speak to them in Korean, the teens said sorry we don't speak Korean, then the lady change to English said today Thanksgiving, everything 10% off.
