Love the fresh baked goodies, specialty teas, vintage lemonade, spinach country pie was everything. Hammy Brie Sammy includes pickled celery, apples, Brie, ham and preserves. Egg sandwich also delicious. Only drawback was that we waited 20 minutes for 3 drinks, 2 sandwiches and heated pie slice. Seating is out front, covered.

This location, although a bit hard to find, is amazing. Very small inside, but big friendly faces as well. The staff were very helpful and personable. Came here on the way to work in place of their original location to try out one of their pastries as I've been informed this is where they bake all their pastries. I tried out their Dubai chocolate brownie which was very rich but addicting and had a coffee along with it. Was a bit surprised to see it come out to 20$, but it was a "treat yourself" kind of day.

I love this place. The main location on Northlake is awesome too. They have THE best sourdough. This location has different items for sale then the main location. I come here to buy sourdough loafs.

I didn't realize that Alaina's was a sit-down establishment that just so happened to have a refrigerated glass display of sweet treats, baked goods, and cakes to enjoy on-site or to go. Its aesthetic was a lot classier than I anticipated. I thought it would be more of a diner-type environment, but instead it's much more visually appealing as a dining area with both table and booth seating, serving high-end booze and solid cuisine. I ordered their two-egg sandwich with bacon and fruit, which allowed me to live my best life. It was delicious. Their bacon in particular was magical. The iced coffee black helped me wash it down. Price-wise, it was reasonable. I would need to come back for happy hour and discovered they have dinner as well -- originally thought it was only open through lunch hour. It comes off as much more upscale, especially once you enter the interior. I was impressed by Bruichladdich scotch selections on their liquor shelves, as well as their lovely Belgian beers in stock in the bottom-level fridge and on tap. They have brunch-themed cocktails to enjoy. I'll have to return with the missuses to enjoy more, as I was impressed by what I saw. But I need to try dinner there to confirm my speculation.

I really wanted to love this place again, but unfortunately I've been consistently disappointed…read more When Small Cakes first opened, I was genuinely excited to have a local cupcake option--especially because they regularly stocked mini cupcakes. They were the perfect little treat: enough to satisfy a sweet tooth without the guilt or wasting half a cupcake because it was too big. Over the past couple of years, though, the experience has gone downhill for me. Minis are never available anymore unless you special order days in advance, which completely defeats the purpose of a spontaneous treat. The selection is okay, but the flavors just don't hit the way they used to. They're good cupcakes--but they don't have that "wow" factor anymore. No tingle, no excitement, no craving for the next bite or urgency to try another flavor because it's so decadent. The staff has always been pleasant, so this isn't about service. It's really about the product and options. The cupcakes are large and expensive, and without mini options, they're not practical for a light, bite-sized treat. I truly wish there was more variety or better size options available without having to plan days ahead. I miss what this place used to be and hope it can get back there someday

It's very clean and nicely decorated inside. The young lady working was nice. Limited parking in the plaza. I found the cupcakes to pack more flavor in the icing and toppings. The cake itself to be rather bland.

We saw meatloaf, chicken piccata, lasagna, ribs, I mean I can go on and on. They also have a market to buy other goods. My one complaint is the staff. The guy who made our sandwiches was so polite, but he was the only one. The hot case is right next to the pizza, so you would think if the lady asked for some meatballs he would take care of it, especially since the deli line was so long. The guy in the pizza station had no customers, but still told the lady she had to wait and ask the deli for the THREE meatballs she wanted. Checking out was the same. Just rude, no acknowledgment. Will I still come if in the area, probably but I'll give them the same energy they give their customers!

So the dirty water gun was soaking in water that he was about to pour into people's glasses. I almost threw up. Then....we witnessed him drop the water jug into the ice - the same ice that servers were using to make drinks. Who knows where the bottom of the water jug has been as I'm sure he has put it down a time or two on bar tops, table tops, etc. And now, it's sitting in the ice. Gross. Lastly, there had to be 100 flies all over the outside bar. Regular flies and also fruit flies. I hate to leave this negative review but am doing so in the hopes that they clean up, because we really love Carmines.

Stopped by Nothing Bundt Cakes and let me just say...bihhhhh these cakes do not miss!…read more I tried the biscoff and the oreo flavors at this location. Our cafe at work has NBC on the menu so I've probably had many bundtinis from this location as well. Of thr bundlets, well one was super delicious, the other was good but missing the flavor mark. Both cakes were moist and fluffy, and of course Nothing Bundt Cakes does not play about that cream cheese icing baby. I even got extra icing on the oreo because...why tf not! However, that was a mistake lol Customer service was overall nice each visit. The location itself is a little tricky to find with all the businesses packed into the plaza; it's on the right when you turn in, front faces Northlake. I actually called while trying to locate it and was on hold for a long time, I was lowkey starting to get a little annoying. She came back to the phone right as I found the place. What really stood out the first visit was the gentleman that came from the back because he recognized my order. I was supposed to pick it up the previous day, and they had called me near closing time. I was working late and thought they closed at 8, but it's actually 7 (womp) so he changed my pickup time to the next day. When I walked in, he said, "You made it today!" and I was like hell yeah!!! I'm not letting that shxt happen again! The first visit was for my coworkers, but one of them gave me half of their cake. I already knew how good the biscoff was from when it rolled out the first time so I wanted to surprise them with it since neither had tried it. And while this location wasn't "as" good as my store in Houston, it's still fire! So I came back a couple of days later and bought another biscoff and oreo for myself this time. I ordered it with extra frosting. I said that was a mistake because ol girl tried to hand me any ol one when she couldn't find my order. So I called her on it and it was corrected but I had to wait for them to open one up and add frosting. On top of that, it was way too much icing, wasn't needed so I'm never going to bother with that again. Restaurant is small, of course like the others, not designed to seat and enjoy. Overall, great flavors, good service at this location. And shoutout to corporate because they listened to the people and brought the biscoff right on back; exactly why Nothing Bundt Cakes stays winning. I'll be back...mostly cause I got a BOGO offer on the receipt. My fat azz don't need to keep coming here....
