Instead of a normal greeting or a simple "Just so you know, we have coffee here," she loudly blurted out, "Who brings Starbucks here?" as if I had just broken a house rule. Her attitude has been the same every visit since: dirty looks, zero acknowledgment unless you're her direct client, and an overall negative energy that shifts the whole room the second she walks in. And it's not just me. My best friend and my mom have both gone to the same stylist and experienced the exact same treatment from the owner. The same snarky comments, the same judgmental looks, the same cold, uninviting demeanor. So it's clearly a pattern, not a one-off. The salon was empty. Yet I overheard the owner mutter, "Why is your client so loud? She's in a salon." Even if YOU the paying client says hi to her she looks you up and down and gives a cold hi back. At this point, the only reason I've ever tolerated stepping foot into this salon is because of my hairstylist. Who deserves better, and so do her clients.
