We explained to Paulina what Abigail had in mind and she explained what the process would be for the dye and cut. As a father, it was very difficult to watch my daughter get her hair cut so short. I am so happy that I am a client at Petite Blossom. First off, it is a beautiful salon, very comfortable and aesthetically alluring, which is a big part of the experience. I made my daughter an appointment to get her first style hairdo. Paulina is very communicative, extremely professional and personable. My daughter got a butterfly layered look and she's loved it. I had my hair cut first then scheduled my follow up to add foil highlights to cover grays, and loved that my consult included considering my grays instead of hiding them. I cannot thank Paulina enough for my new look but most importantly, making me and my daughter feel welcome from day one. Looking forward to all future appointments. The vibe is so personal and modern she even has a A ring light with a backdrop for those after hair selfies and she even has a drink menu. Paulina has always made sure That the integrity of my hair come first. Unfortunately, it's about the salon owner, whose behavior is consistently rude, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing for someone running a business. From my very first appointment, she set the tone. I walked in with a Starbucks for myself and my stylist... completely unaware the salon had a café (which was closed, by the way). Instead of a normal greeting or a simple "Just so you know, we have coffee here," she loudly blurted out, "Who brings Starbucks here?" as if I had just broken a house rule. Not exactly the welcoming vibe you expect when you're coming in to spend money. Her attitude has been the same every visit since: dirty looks, zero acknowledgment unless you're her direct client, and an overall negative energy that shifts the whole room the second she walks in. And it's not just me. My best friend and my mom have both gone to the same stylist and experienced the exact same treatment from the owner. The same snarky comments, the same judgmental looks, the same cold, uninviting demeanor. So it's clearly a pattern, not a one-off. One moment that really stuck with me: it was just me, my stylist, and the owner in the salon. My stylist stepped into another room, so I raised my voice slightly to make sure she could hear me. The salon was empty. Yet I overheard the owner mutter, "Why is your client so loud? She's in a salon." Instead of speaking to anyone directly or respectfully, she chose to insult a paying client behind their back. Completely uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. Even if YOU the paying client says hi to her she looks you up and down and gives a cold hi back. At this point, the only reason I've ever tolerated stepping foot into this salon is because of my hairstylist. Who deserves better, and so do her clients. If you value professionalism, respect, and a welcoming environment, I'd strongly recommend booking with these amazing stylists anywhere else if they offer services at another location. The talent here is great. The owner is the problem.

I was initially told that I couldn't get money pieces because of my bangs, which was fine. Instead, I was suggested highlights, but those are completely different styles. I had to ask twice to at least try the money pieces below my two front pieces. When it came to my haircut, I requested a shorter style but faced some resistance from the stylist. She asked if I was sure about the length, and while I understand that this can be a concern for some, I made it clear that I have experience with shorter hair. Additionally, she inquired whether I wanted my hair texturized or layered. I politely declined several times, but she continued to insist that texture or layers would make the cut look softer or less harsh. I appreciate that she is a professional and knows her craft, but I believe a customer's personal preferences should be considered, especially since she accepted the job and was aware of my requests. Overall, it felt like I was being pressured into someone else's choices. I would also make sure to ask for prices beforehand. I was surprised that the total came to $365. The haircut cost $85, which was reasonable, but the money pieces alone were $135, in addition to the overall black hair dye.

I was able to set up a trial for both services and she was able to walk me through the entire process. It was so much fun! Sara is an artist. I don't know if I'll ever look that good again. She took all the feedback from the trial and just executed everything perfectly. No notes. *Get the extensions, you won't regret it.* She came to our hotel, fully set up with a great playlist and went to work. She also did my (13yo) stepdaughters hair and makeup and I cried when I saw it. She was beautiful and Sara kept the style appropriate for her outfit and age. I'd also like to note its like having your girlfriend doing your hair, she is such a warm presence and fun, she kept me focused with tasks when I started pacing around haha. We had some family drama and she was right there to help if needed. She understood our needs and wants and went above and beyond. Showed her an inspo picture on Pinterest and referenced work she did before and she nailed it. Not only was her work amazing, her vibes were unmatched. I knew instantly this was my stylist. I asked her to send the contract immediately! Days before my wedding, I wasn't sure what earrings to wear and I asked Sara what she thought about 2 different earrings and she was honest about how it'd probably get tangled in my hair. Best advice a stylist can give you, because I listened and decided to wear my other option and have no regrets. Wedding day, Sara was on time, prepared and came with her amazing playlist. I ended up deciding with a different style than what I did at my trial. Again, I sent Sara my inspo photo a few weeks before and told her I think this style would match my personality a lot more and she agreed and delivered. I had no doubt about the results and she did not disappoint. Although I loved the Hollywood glam waves I did at my trial, I am still obsessed with my glam waves for my wedding. My hair held the entire day/night. I probably would have woken up to perfect hair if I weren't sweating and dancing the way I did.
