HONEST & TRUSTWORTHY! I had my wife car in for a front brake job as I was sure it was time. Brett told me he would do a brake inspection and would call to advise. I left stating he didn't need to call and just go ahead and do it. WELL, Bret called and told me that the front was 60% worn and rear @ 90 % and no need to replace yet. Brett was honest and said if it was his wife's car he would not replace yet. Brett showed great character as I would have never known unless he was honest. It's my first time at Little Man Auto and I have found a trustworthy shop to do repairs on our vehicles now. I went in for a full synthetic oil change for my V8 truck. They said they use NAPA oil filters but I inspected it afterwards and it didn't even have a brand; just a part number on a plain white canister. And it was cheap: $7.99 on the invoice. Napa filters are black and say "Napa Gold" and cost about $14. My biggest concern is whether the filter has a silicone anti-drainback valve for cold weather starts. I interviewed the service advisor about when to change my transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, and rear differential fluid since the Ram owner's manual says they are good for the life of the vehicle (huh??). He asked me if I towed with it and gave me transmission intervals of 60k miles for that or 75k miles; that seemed like an intelligent answer, and a reasonable interval. Other shops have tried to upsell me on premature service (30k mile intervals for those three) that I don't need and we all know why. Little Man went ahead and inspected the three fluids and we discovered an issue with the rear differential. I asked to look at the fluid and it showed cloudy fragments of suspected metal so I authorized a fluid change. They recommended I come back after 500 miles to take off the cover plate and inspect the gears, changing the fluid of course in the process. Could be simply initial wear-in from the factory but we will see. I'm looking for a partner shop to work with now that my truck is out of warranty and I am still evaluating LIttle Man Auto. Their shop looked clean and well organized. Pricing for the oil change was competitive with other shops. BTW if you go there, the shop is located BEHIND Bros Auto. read more

Needed a new water pump, radiator and timing belt, didn't have the tools at home to do the timing belt ourselves, but needed the car fixed ASAP for work. Called just before closing on a Thursday, they promised to have it done by Monday evening if I could bring it in the next morning. It was a quick turnaround, no hidden fees, my old subaru is running better than ever! 10/10 would recommend. Great value for the work done! read more

I really like this shop. Took my car in for a diagnostic and found the problem quickly. Was able to fix one issue right away and will be back to fix the last one. Employees are very friendly, the waiting area is extremely comfortable with reclining couches, tv with a good movie on, even a kids play area if you have kids and was even nice enough to give me a cup of coffee. My AC went out, out of nowhere so I called around and every other place was scheduled 2 weeks out. I called Little Man and within an hour, they found what was wrong, got the part, put the part in and fixed it for less than $100. A few days later, it went out again...I brought my car back in they found that it was a faulty part. So they ordered another one and fixed it with no additional charges. I also got a full brake job done here for an amazing price. I never felt as if they were trying to gyp me or add on additional costs for no reason like a lot of other places do. He ripped us off!! Went in for a 159,00 check up and came out owing $988. Then all of our warning lights are on for 2 weeks so I call him back because he said just drive around and they will go off. But they didn't and he wanted to charge us to fix the truck and we said no. We took it to another mechanic and he said it was our gas cap and turned off the lights for free. this place is not trustworthy!! read more

A few years ago my car started to have some issues so some very close family friends referred me to Little Man. I had the car in for a windshield wiper pump. They told me that I had a leak in my Steering rack, and it would cost at least $800 to repair. Later in the Year, the car was at Country Repair, and they were putting in a new long block, due to a premature timing belt kit failure. I asked them to take a look at the leak in the steering fluid while the engine was out. They said that a new o ring was needed, and it took all of 15 minutes. What else do I need to say? read more

If it were possible to give a negative number of stars I would. On the advice of my mother and father in law, I took my car here to get the rear end looked at because it had been making an odd noise and vibrating the vehicle at 50+ miles per hour. I had left it parked for the better part of a year but needed to drive it again. It took him nearly three weeks to even look at it, during which time I called every 4-5 days to inquire about the status of the vehicle, most of which calls went not only unanswered but unretuned until I called every few hours for a day or two. The guy working there then informed me that after looking at the engine, which I had never asked him to do in the first place, that it was going to take around 600 dollars to replace the battery and starter which he assured me were no good. After I told him I just needed the back end looked at it took another week before I was able to get a hold of him again, at which time he informed me that my timing belt was also broken and he needed nearly 800 dollars to repair that. I then told him that if that was the case I would have my friend who knows how to work on cars but is usually very busy, look at the things on the engine that were having problems and that I just wanted him to look at the back end of the car. The mechanic told me that if I was going to have someone else do those repairs that he didn't want to work on it and that I had to make a choice, him or someone else. Needless to say, I spent the money to have it towed over to my friends house who checked out what the mechanic had said was wrong and found out that both the starter and the timing belt were fine. The battery was bad and there was a problem with the u-joint in the back end. My friend had the car repaired and running excellently within three hours of having it. Total cost, about 250 dollars. After this fiasco I asked the in laws about their experience with little man and they told me they had him repair their car last year and that it had broken shortly after he repaired it and after they took it there a second time it broke again within a few weeks. They took it to him a third time and once again it broke shortly thereafter, after which time the sold the car thinking it was just a lemon. Long story short, if you have tons of money and enjoy being lied to and ripped off feel free to take your vehicle here, otherwise steer as far clear from this worthless place as you possibly can. read more

took my truck to Little Man Auto for 100000 mile maintenance. was charged over 500 dollars for work to transmission and front & rear differential . kept having problems and took back for idle control valve. was charged over $250.00 still having problems and took to dealership. they confirmed , in writing , that none of the work was ever done. Run away from Little Man. prices are low because he doesn't do the work he charges for. very irate and abusive when confronted with documentation . read more
