I wanted to check this place out going on 2 weeks. I'm in the area for work. I wanted to check for authenticity. Walked in to ranchera music playing in the back ground. They came out with warm chips and salsa. Salsa was very good with a kick not too runny...chip able. my dinner soon came... 3 hard shell corn tortilla tacos filled with seasoned cubed chicken,kettuce,tomatoes cilantro onions and queso fresco. Seasoned rice and beans topped it off as sides. The tacos were filled as I added thier salsa as a topper. The rice and beans were authentico. I ordered from their imported beer selection and went with a Modelo Negro. Great meal for a little over $16. I will be back. read more

Tried this place today for the first time since being in beloit for just over a year. I think I'm a bit hesitant to eat at places in strip malls. Anyway, walked in around 1pm. Place looks clean, there's maybe half a dozen people eating. 1 waitress and the kitchen staff. I was greeted and seated promptly. The chips and salsa were brought quickly, as was my soft drink. Chips are warm and thick enough to use on beans and rice that comes with the variety of combo meals. Salsa has a nice taste with a gentle heat that kind of sneaks up on you. I had the 2 taco lunch special with ground beef, cilantro and onion. Food came quickly. Tacos had a great flavor but the tortillas were a bit dry for my taste. I just used a little salsa to overcome and they were great. Little Mexico is a nice lunch spot, I'll be back for sure! read more

Ordered this for lunch for office today. Took over hour and half to deliver even though we ordered at 1045am I was told delivery would be available at 11:30am we didn't get our food until almost 1230pm! We all ordered extra sour cream on the side-none of us got any. Lettuce was brown and guacamole was blackish/brown - they could have at least mixed the old guacamole before putting it on top of our food. Food was ok nothing special or that I would order again. Definitely better options available in Beloit. I hate leaving a poor review for a locally owned business but if you are looking for honest feedback we were disappointed. read more

Update: The lovely couple that owned L.M. sold it and moved to Texas! As what happens with any business it was for the worst! We went here on Father's Day and the the service was not what it used to be they also painted the walls a very loud orange color (wth!?) so instead of it feeling relaxing and cozy it now feels loud. We won't be going back. Being from Chicago I'm spoiled when it comes to good decent Mexican food and so far in the whole Beloit area this is the best spot so far even better than Casa Grande. The prices are very reasonable and the selection is outstanding! This is our go to spot for Mexican food and the owner is very nice! I hope they stick around for a long time. read more

For 62.03 we received half ass tacos waitress messed up two of our orders of tacos. Got a platter appetizer 6-7 dollars for a friggen enchilada cut in half a chorizo and cheese taco cut in half and two torllia chips each with a tablespoon of refried beans and a teaspoon of friggen sour cream. Food was soggy and oily. The chips where old and when i went to pay i know why they were so bad. They have them in baskets just stacked behind the register for who knows how long. NOTHING FRESH about this place. Ordered flauntas and told her no sour cream or guac on anything and yet bith were on the flauntas and instead of making more she brought a plate to scrape it off on. My son ordered a meal and then a single chile relleno and she brought out a chile relleno meal instead and refused to change it costing me 9.99 more. Had a higher expectation given the Yelp reviews. Food was on par for most Mexican restaurants I've visited. I had the Chille Renellos and appreciated that it was two peppers plus a side of corn tortillas, all of which was pretty tasty. I'm ranking lower as the service was so so... Stopped in for lunch and ordered the shrimp tacos on the lunch special. The salsa and the chips were average at best. The food came out about 5 minutes after I ordered it, which was a bit too fast, makes me think they used little care in preparation. The shrimp were just barely done, the corn tortillas seemed microwaved (I heard them using a microwave in the back too). Bland seasoning, typical orange rice, soupy beans. The tacos came only with iceberg and half ripe tomatoes, no onion, no cilantro, no lime. Bland is the best word to describe my lunch. Disappointing. read more

I went in and they told me it wasn't until later in the day. I told them I called to double check the hours of Taco Tuesday. It was the only reason we came in. We stopped by on the way home from the Dells not sure what expect and it was delicious. The Tapiquena was great and the tortillas handmade. The service was also superior. Orders take out with my husband and family for my birthday dinner based of the other excellent reviews as we are new to the Beloit area. I was very disappointed in what we received. 3 of us ordered off the burrito section and were disappointed that the traditional Mexican sides were in the burrito instead of as a side. My own burrito, the Ranchero was very soggy from the ranchero sauce, felt thrown together with cheap ingredients, was cold when I got it even though we just live 1 mile down the road, and they got my meat order wrong. I will not be returning and will continue exploring other Mexican restaurants in Beloit read more
