Mac Nut chocolate covered banana & Dole Whip
Brenda S.

Cutest little shack right in the lagoon of Aulani! has different dole whip options and other treats! They decorate some dole whips with Moana, stitch, Mickey or Minnie. Soooo cute! Since it was considered fast food service the food was out right away after we got rung up! Perfect snack place!

So good! This little treat shack right on the beach was such a fun find. They offer a variety of ice cream, frozen treats, and Dole Whips! We walked up to the window and were quickly handed the ice cream sandwich we ordered, while the Dole Whip took just a few extra minutes. It came in a chocolate-dipped cone with Mickey-shaped sprinkles, a tiny umbrella, and a Stitch-shaped chocolate chunk, such a cute touch! You can order it plain in a cup, but we opted for the fancier version (with your choice of character) for $11, and it was totally worth it. The price was fair, the service was great, and our little ones loved the special details like the Mickey sprinkles. It was plenty to share between the family. Next time, I'm definitely trying the chocolate dipped frozen pineapple or banana!

I won't tell you how many times I hit up this snack shack while I was there. Too embarrassing. It is so easy to grab something while you're hanging out on the beach and the dole whip was absolutely perfect. Quick service and the menu is limited so what they do sell they do really well and they get out quick. We rented out one of the loungers on our beach days and enjoying our dole whip while lounging under the canopy - divine!

After returning from our Secret Beach quest we were ready to quench our thirst. I'd read about Aulani Disney resort serving the infamous Dole Whip by the lagoon. So when we approached both my daughter and I knew we each wanted one. Hubby passed. We read the menu board posted at the kiosk. You can request a character one like Stitch. We passed on that. We both had the Dole Whip swirl in a cup - pineapple and watermelon combo. Served in a 16 oz plastic cup. So refreshing. I could have had one every day but flew home the next day.

Dole Whip Heaven! A MUST when staying at Aulani! We got the $11 dole whip with the white chocolate art of stitch and a really cool waffle cone that's dipped in chocolate with mouse ear confetti candy. You get a choice of Minnie, Mickey, Stitch and Moana as the white chocolate piece. The cool part of this dole whip place is that they offer pineapple and watermelon twist while the Ulu Cafe has vanilla and pineapple twist only. Great to share the 1 dole whip with others too!

I stopped by here a couple of times and it was pretty good and tasty. I got the watermelon dole whip and it was pleasant and good. I got the Mickey ice cream sandwich and it was better than I thought. It was satisfying and nice to eat on a hot day. The people running the stand were nice. I recommend getting something from here.

Such a nice treat when out for a swim or enjoying the sand. You don't have to be a guest to purchase from this food establishment that is apart of Disney Aulani. Such a great variety to choose from. We like to walk over from four seasons to get a scoop of Disney Magic. Love that we can get some dole whip or some boba! The treats come out quick & we're back on our way to the other resort!

Haiku: Little 'Opihi's Enjoy a sweet treat Get your Dole Whip here Heaven in a cup. --- Located where Aulani meets the Ko Olina beach boardwalk, this shack features frozen treats and drinks and is ideal for beach goers. You can order basic Dole Whip soft serve and cute character ones like Mickey, Moana, and Stitch. They also have mini-waffle bowls. The texture of the Dole Whip is consistent (when freshly served, it holds its texture, not runny). Just devour them because they melt quickly under the warm sun.

There was no line at the order window, and I can't imagine why. The two women inside were friendly and helpful. Keep in mind that the location is card or room charge only and does not accept cash. The dole whip float was delicious and refreshing. The perfect treat off the mainland!

How cute is this!! Little Opihi's is a snack and dessert shack along the walkway between the beach and the pool area at Disney Aulani. They have great fruit, dessert, and ice cream options for kids and adults. My daughter loves Stitch and had to get a stitch theme ice cream. The line wasn't long at all. We were serviced right away and the ice cream came out larger than the picture. They put the ice cream into a paper bowl to capture the ice cream dripping - very smart! We ordered a watermelon ice cream that came with chucks of watermelon at the bottom of the soft serve. It was all delicious and the presentation was cute!

Wanted Dole Whip. Found Dole Whip. Enjoyed Dole Whip with a nice beach front at the Disney Resort. Service quick and sweet with an attention to detail (the toppings that make the characters come to life and hard to eat). Fun experience and not too expensive for what they charge at the theme park

Little 'Opihi's is a beachside stand perfectly located between the Ko Olina Lagoon and the pools at Aulani. They serve dole whip, ice cream, fruit and beverages. But my favorite thing they serve is the Disney themed Dole Whips. I got the Moana and Stitch Dole Whip fresh fruit sundaes. They were bigger than I was expecting so it was plenty for a family of 5. Moana is pineapple flavor and is stuffed with fresh pineapple. Stitch is watermelon flavored and stuffed with fresh watermelon. Out of the two Moana was my favorite.

The sign says open 11 AM - 5 PM but they didn't open until around 11:30 AM when I went. I'm not sure if that's a usual occurrence or if something happened. The dole whip is is great though I recommend getting the stitch or Moana sundaes. The watermelon dole whip also comes with super sweet watermelon pieces inside and it's very refreshing on a hot day. The watermelon dole whip was creamy and incredible. It beats the dole whip at Disneyland for sure. The extra dollars instead of the regular dole are worth it.

After looking for a place to eat in Kapolei we came across Gina's Kapolei and walking into the restaurant we saw that Gina's son was working behind the counter!!! We got the family mini pack - it's great for 2-3 people who have a large appetite- 3 large pieces of Kalbi - bulgofi - man du - BBQ chicken- meat Jun - rice and choice of 4 veggies. It's a generous portion of meat more than enough for 3 people and we had leftovers too. The food is very good the Kalbi is a standout and the fried Man Du and meat Jun was excellent. We loved the seaweed w/ daikon - tofu and kimchee all so good. The people are friendly and really helpful - parking is plentiful. So you can imagine the pure joy I experienced when I walked into Gina's and recognized the banchan, size and char on meats, the smell, being surrounded by local families and friendly faces behind the counter. My heart leapt for joy seeing that I could have both fish jun AND kalbi and if I wanted I could've gotten a third choice. My eyes spotted a familiar side dish of seasoned potatoes, which I left it for the next person and got the daikon, perfectly seasoned not dry at all jap chae, and kim chi cucumbers. When I took my first bit into the kalbi, life was made good again. It was reset and welcome home I needed. It was a perfectly cut and marinated kalbi. The fish Jin was seasoned so well I barely needed to dip it into a sauce. The portions could have fed 2. I asked if they were related to the Gina's in Market City. Bro, this is the OG Gina's!! The owner said they sold the other one and his mom helped him start this one. It looked like the whole family was behind the counter. I wanted to cry. Not all things have changed in Hawai'i! Some things got better! OG Gina's being in Kapolei is one of em.

It's so good and has a yummy whip on top. I also got a lychee drink which was also very yummy! For food, we got the fish and chips! There was also a miscommunication and they brought out a random fish taco, so they gave it to us for free lol The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, and had lots of seating. They had both indoor and outdoor seating and a bar. Outside they had live music, which was really nice to have during lunch :) Staff were great and sooo helpful. Food and drinks came out quickly and everything was amazing. I took off a star for pricing. We each got a drink and we shared fish and chips and our bill was $100 with tip. We felt that was a bit steep for sharing a meal and having 1 drink each. My friends who live on the Island said that other locations were way cheaper, so it's a bummer this one was more expensive. I'm assuming it's because it's across from Aulani. We noticed that the menu here was more expensive than eating at Aulani, so next time we'll probably just stay at the resort. Either way, food and experience were great but we probably won't return because of the pricing.
