Dined in on a Monday evening and it was surprisingly busy! We saw a lot of folks coming in just to pick up their take out orders. Our service was friendly and attentive, and the space inside is designed beautifully. The portion sizes were generous and the flavor was fantastic. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Stopped by for dinner and ordered the crispy rice noodles and sesame tofu. The crispy rice noodles were so good and different. I've had crispy egg noodles before but this was a good twist. Love the interior and service was excellent.

I wanted to like this so much more, Pablo insisted we go here as we like Laotian food. It was shambolic due to being grossly understaffed. the hostess was also the bartender and table cleaner. There seemed to be about 3 people serving tables in a full restaurant on a Saturday night. They were all stressed and we were kind to them cheering them on but it all took too long. The food was no better than average, salt and pepper squid a little limp and bland instead of crispy and dry. Nem Kao Tod was crispy and dry but needed lime to give it more flavor. Papaya salad was OK but too wet. All in all I know they can do better, there were enough chefs backstage but Front of House were suffering. Price point is OK.

Have been here a few times now and have had always had mixed experiences. Both times service was just not good. So slow, and food took absolutely forever. The food itself is decent, but not worth the wait for food and bad service. We had the wings, birds nest, and general tsos. The birds nest is very lightly flavored, and a bit bland. The general tsos is very heavy on the batter and overtly sour.

Tried this place for the first time for their pop up event. Place is cute. Service was friendly but slow. Food was ok. Portions were a little smaller. Lychee martini was delicious and refreshing.

Little Palace did not disappoint! All of our food was awesome and the service was great. I LOVE crab rangoons...and these just took the top spot in Madison. My fried rice was delicious and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. They do accept reservations via phone, which was awesome. Highly recommend parking in one of the ramps around the square and walking over to avoid circling around looking for street parking. I can't wait to go back!

Little Palace is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Madison! Not only is the food delicious but the service is friendly and the atmosphere is so elegant and beautiful. There are many wonderful vegan options. Impossible Potstickers and Veggie Spring Rolls are great appetizers. The Mongolian Tofu and LoMein have big portions and flavor to match. I was delighted to find out they did cauliflower wings for their Monday night wing special, and it's a fantastic deal. This year they also hosted a Lunar New Year celebration with a special menu and lion dance that was so fun, I hope they bring it back next year!

Wasn't able to be seated till 10 mins after scheduled reservation time, but everything was nice and clean. The server seemed rushed as well, they were a little short with us. The Crab Rangoon were probably the best I've had around Madison. We got the Crispy noodles and the sauce and noodles are really good but the onions were still raw, idk if they are meant to be. The Second thing we got was drunken noodles and it was very delicious as well. The next item we had was the pad see ew. The Sauce was delicious and tofu was really crispy, highly recommend. The last dish we had the pleasure of eating was the yellow curry with chicken. The flavor was great and the potatoes and chicken were tasty. We did not have enough rice to eat all of the curry but they sent us with additional rice with our leftovers. The Thai iced tea was amazing and we had to order seconds!

Update: I am absolutely obsessed with this restaurant and it is now one of my all time Madison food favorites. The impossible potstickers are still a must but I also love their orange tofu and Mongolian tofu entrees. Somehow they get the tofu so crispy and amazing. To top it all off their desserts are also amazing, particularly the ice-cream sandwich with blue moon ice-cream. Cannot sing my praises of this restaurant enough, phenomenal food and lovely atmosphere.

This is still one our favorite places to go for a date night with delicious Chinese cuisine & fun cocktails! Little Palace has a fun laid back ambience inside located very close to the WI capitol in downtown Madison. Little Palace has great Chinese food with generous portion sizes at decent prices with options such as lomein, sesame chicken, chow mein. I constantly crave their yummy crab rangoons appetizer and fried rice with beef, chicken, & shrimp.

It was mid but when you're in WI, I'd say pretty decent takeout comparatively. Nice for when you're craving American Chinese takeout.

The food is mostly Sichuan, with some American Chinese staples as well. It's also a huge space, so you'll never have problem getting a table. They do a lot of takeout business as well. I highly recommend the spicy Sichuan chicken (with tongue-numbing peppercorn), the Chongqing chicken, home style tofu, and spicy green beans. I also brought several colleagues who enjoyed Taste of Sichuan very much, and returned themselves!

The server who took our order was very friendly. I was hesitating about whether to add more dishes, and he honestly told me that what we ordered should be enough. He was right--we couldn't even finish it! The restaurant space is quite large, and most of the customers seemed to be students from the nearby area. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the front desk staff had a pretty bad attitude. I called earlier to ask if the restaurant was open, and her responses were impatient, and she even hung up the phone abruptly. That really affected the overall experience. Overall, the food is good and the portions are great, but the customer service at the front desk needs improvement.

It felt like most of the dish was just the noodles, and it was not balanced (ended up not finishing the noodles). Service is very straightforward.
