Heed the warning- I recently boarded my 3 French Bulldogs at this boarding place. I chose them because they seemed very friendly, the place appeared clean to the eye. They were there 11 days I believe. It was NOT cheap. I EVEN LEFT A TIP!!! Everything seemed wonderful. They bathed my pups per my request, they even came in after hours to let me pick them up. Here lies the issue. My pups have ONLY been at my house in my yard or at their boarding establishment. No walks elsewhere, No dog parks, No one else's house. NOWHERE!!!! About 7 days after I returned home with them, one had a spot on his back where the hair fell out/became red irritated/then dry & flaky. Only to find out it was indeed RINGWORM!!! I was supposed to board them again but called to cancel right away. I was furious!! * SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS * I battled the ringworm for about two more weeks. Thankfully his hair grew back & I got rid of it. I also prevented my other two from getting it w medicated shampoo. Fast forward another two week another of my pups tested positive for HOOK-WORMS!!!! Remember my dogs have not been ANYWHERE ELSE.... So now I've had to treat all my dogs for that. Thru the Dr that referred me their facility. I can assure you they did not have them before boarding here. I just had all of them checked before I moved here in September. W a clean bill of health. Please be warned. If you love your animals like I do mine ---- YOU WILL TAKE THIS ADVICE & go elsewhere!!!! There is no other explanation for these happenings. ZERO. I won't be back. read more

We have boarded three different dogs with them, and I really think it's almost like Jekyll and Hyde. They are WONDERFUL with small dogs. It's the perfect place for any dog under 25lbs. They are _not_ wonderful with big dogs. I mean, they take good care of them and feed them and exercise them regularly. They're very kind to them. But they don't have the posh facilities for big dogs and they don't seem to play with the bigger dogs as much. (Big dogs and little dogs are completely separate, with an 8ft Wall between their play areas.) We now board our big dog at the vet, where he has an indoor/outdoor run. I definitely recommend Little Paws for small dogs. read more

May I start out staying this was a last minute vacation myself and my family went on and this kennel was 5th on the list to call because our normal kennel was full, so I wasn't expecting a lot. Like some of the other reviews said, this place is probably okay for smaller dogs or lap dogs. But I do not recommend this kennel for large dogs (62lbs Golden Retriever) even if it is your only option. The storage shed around back where they kennel the large dogs is small and very cramped. The kennels themselves were just small wire cages you would buy at Petsmart. They had just as many of those kennels crammed in that shed as they could possibly get. They had the kennels pushed next to each other with nothing separating the dogs but the wire from the kennel. The staff wasn't overly knowledgeable or overly friendly, it was all teenagers. The kennel we normally board at has a no contact policy. Each kennel has an indoor and outdoor run/space which the dog can freely go between during the day. The kennel has solid partitions at pet level for enhanced privacy and security. They also have a large fenced in grass field that they rotate the dogs in and out of for exercise throughout the day. I think they say your dog will go out there to the field at least 4 to 5 times or more each day. THIS PLACE IS NOTHING LIKE THAT. Again the kennel we normally board at has a no contact policy. My dog is AKC Canine Good Citizenship Certified, but you just never know, wether it's about your dog or the other dogs being boarded there. That is why I always recommend a kennel that is no contact. I do not recommend boarding here. read more

I boarded my dog here for a long weekend, and when I picked her up, the person working the big dog area in the back opened the gate to let her out WITHOUT A LEASH. She immediately ran out of the gate! Thankfully our car door was open and she hopped right in, but I do not allow my dog to be off leash next to a busy highway! I asked where her leash was and was told they could not find it. I was incredibly upset that they would open the gate without first asking me if she should be on a leash if they did not have one for her. This is unacceptable behavior and indicates no knowledge of proper and professional dog boarding services. About an hour after we got home, our dog was acting lethargic and vomited multiple times throughout the night. I am concerned that she was not given the food we sent with her since obviously the things we bring with her (like the leash) cannot be accounted for during her stay. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this boarding facility to anyone who cares about the health and well-being of their pets as I am now convinced the management of this facility is unconcerned with proper and professional care of animals. read more

After a bad experience someplace else we were told about Debbie and her staff.our dog is shy and doesn't do we'll around other dogs, normally when we pick her up she is scared and you can tell she did not have a good experience. We boarded our puppy for one night and was not impressed with his care. Walking in there was nothing but chaos and confusion, and our dog was taken away while we were filling out paperwork before we could make sure he was settled. When we picked him up he smelled like urine as did his bed. Upon getting home he ate much more than normal, indicating that he wasn't fed as we instructed. He was shaky and nervous for several hours after we picked him up. Needless to say we will not be taking our dog back to this place. read more

The previous workers were sweet and seemed to really care about the animals. Most recently the owner, Deborah, has become almost frantic. She is confrontational, incessantly agitated, and unapologetically unorganized. Terrible terrible place. They kept deleting my reviews on google. If you're gonna take a medium or large dog make sure you ask for a tour. i WISH they would post pictures of their medium and large dog area. It's a shed wall to wall with rusted kennels. Stacked over each other. This place is really starting to go downhill. They also left my dog outside with no water and no one even knew who my dog was. You would think after paying a business to care for your baby that they would at least know where your dog is! Their sheds with large dogs also smell so badly of urine and all that ammonia in the air isn't good for your babies lungs. They also don't take dogs out on a regular basis . First off, I would suggest boarding your dog at a different facility. My husband and I went out of town so we boarded our 11 month-old German Shepherd Daisy at Little Paws for 5 days. When we returned, she had a small patch of hair missing on the side of her snout. I asked the two men at the large dog entrance what happened and they said they only worked the second shift and didn't know. It started to rain so I didn't bother going inside but I wish I would have. We had another trip come up short notice and without much time to look into other dog boarding facilities, we decided to go with Little Paws again since it is so close to our home. When I dropped off Daisy, I spoke with the owner about Daisy's nose and she said that Daisy plays rough. Her statement could not be more far from the truth. She stated this as I watched my dog on the cameras running around and NOT playing rough. She has been boarded several times before as well as frequents dog parks on a weekly basis and has never had an issue with another dog. She is quite submissive and not reactive in the slightest. Daisy is extremely friendly with other dogs and people and we believe doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body. We left thinking we could give Little Paws a second chance. I wish we wouldn't have. This time we were only gone for a long weekend and when we picked up Daisy she had two gashes on the side of her snout. I immediately asked the man at the dog entrance what happened and of course, he didn't know. He said he'd call the other employees and find out what happened, but after leaving and calling the place back a few hours later the consensus was: no one knew. How reassuring is that? The place you entrust your dogs to for a weekend can't tell you what happened to your pet? Secondly, when we dropped her off she was being treated for mites. She has to take a certain amount of medicine each night. We included two bottles - one that the vet gave us with the name of the medicine and a second clear bottle. We measured out the exact amount of liquid she was going to need and put it in the clear bottle for two reasons: 1) we wanted to make sure that Little Paws administered the correct amount and 2) the original bottle was too long and it was difficult to get the syringe in there to get out the liquid so we were making it easier for them. Not only did I tell the girl when we dropped off what the specifics were for administering the medicine, I included a handwritten note in the bag that stated exactly what should happen. When I went inside I picked up the medicine and was surprised to see that the bottle we told them to use was completely full. They did not follow our directions at all. The other bottle was completely empty and we have no idea how much medicine they gave her. It is quite upsetting when your pet is on a medicine regimen and a dog boarding place cannot follow it. We use a gentle leader on her face when we walk her as she gets excited by squirrels and we have been unable to walk her these past 5 weeks because the gentle leader goes right across her snout and opened up the scab. We are quite dissatisfied and will not be returning. read more

Dogs are kept in rusty, broken kennels. They are knowingly injuring dogs!!! My dog is scarred for life after his nose got caught in one of their faulty kennels, and now he doesn't act the same. He is scared for us to go anywhere because he thinks he's going back there. Do NOT take your dog here. read more

I would highly recommend boarding your dog at another boarding facility. If you would like for you pet to be neglected and then deal with incompetent business owners, continue booking here. One of the first times I boarded my dog here, she came back with a few scratches on her face. When I called to ask what these were, they said there was no indication of any fighting written down, so they couldn't tell me. The scratches were nothing significant so I brushed it off. This recent run in with my dog being hurt, yet again, was the last straw for me. I picked her up after being boarded for 5 days. She looked exhausted and not right, but I just assumed that she had a long week being in a different environment. By the time I got home, I saw she was limping and one of her white nails was completely black, covered in blood, and almost completely broken at the base, I immediately took her to our vet because I was worried about infection and how much pain she was in. The vet told me that the nail was so badly broken, she would need to be sedated and the tissue around the nail as well as the entire exterior nail would have to be removed. I went straight to Little Paws to ask why no one told me or documented that my dog was hurt. Why did no one tell me? NO ONE EVEN NOTICED. The owner apologized and offered to pay the vet bill. I left thinking all that could be done had been done. Three hours later, the owner called back to tell me that they decided not to pay the bill because I can't prove it happened there. What else did she tell me? MY DOG WAS NO LONGER ALLOWED TO COME BACK. You had my dog for five days, I had her for less than an hour and now you're claiming I did it? And what exactly did myself or my dog do to be told I wasn't allowed back? They refused to watch their surveillance tape because it would 'take too long' and tried to contact my vet to see how long her nails were among other things to try and put the blame on me. It's obvious that my dog was hurt at this facility. Was it an accident? More than likely. My biggest issue is how much is my dog actually looked after if she was so obviously hurt and no one even noticed? My vet also told me that they've had multiple issues with this boarding facility. Even someone's dogs having puncture wounds and needing x-rays due to a fight and the owners trying to fight any responsibility. You, as a boarding facility, are responsible for our pets when they are there. You are responsible for not allowing dogs that fight to be a part of day care or boarding. You are responsible for documenting any concerns/issues with every pet. You do not know how to run this business in a way that allows your customers to trust what's going on. read more

I wrote a review on Friday about my experience with little paws and it was deleted because they didn't want anyone to find out the truth about them. My dog was severely mistreated. It was her first time and she was scared and I guess she didn't like the male employee. She is a great dog and never has any trouble with people but is a little skittish around other dogs. She had no problem with the female employee which leads me to believe the male employee was not nice to her. I was watching the webcam they have and they were outside and my dog did not want the male employee to come near her she was crouched down and logically you would think he would back off and get another employee to help but he didn't so she bit him in the hand and then let go immediately and he only had a small scratch on his finger so it was clearly not a hard bite. He proceeded to kick her in the face twice. We called after we seen that and told them what was happening and the female employer said she was fine when she obviously was not. I called twice and they assured me she was fine but it was not true. If I was told she wasn't doing well I would have picked her up. I left my dog in their care trusting she would be safe and not harmed. Violence against animals is never the answer. You can delete my reviews all you want but I will continue to write more because people deserve to know what goes on there. read more

This was my second and final interaction with Little Paws Pet Resort in mount Juliet, TN. My first interaction was when Debbie and I worked out a price for a week over Christmas in person. The day before I was going to drop off my dogs, she had someone else from her business contact me saying I would be required to pay full price instead of the agreed upon quote I was given by the owner. I felt that was very flaky and decided not to take them that time. My second interaction (I just picked the dogs up from there this morning), I was in a bind and needed to take my dogs somewhere quickly, so I ended up using Little paws, against my gut feeling. When I went to drop them off 4 days ago, I was alarmed when they put my two little dogs out back with two giant pit bulls. The workers response was "not to worry those are two of their best dogs". My understanding was little dogs and big dogs aren't co-mingled. Upon my return to pick them up I arrive promptly at 7am, the place was closed, I waited in the parking lot for an hour while continuously calling. After finally calling the emergency number, I was called back 30 minutes later to be told that because of the weather I could not pick up my dogs until 11am. No one contacted me, no notice on the door, and no notice on their voicemail. When I finally spoke with Debbie, she said due to the inconvenience she would comp me a full day. Also in our conversation she exaggerated about how bad the roads where by her house when we live off the same road, and I was more than able to make it. When arriving to pick up my dogs, she would not comp me for the day as promised on the phone or even apologize for the matter. I WILL NEVER RETURN. read more
