She greeted us when we entered and let us know when the items for her cooler would be arriving ( we were there pretty early). We ordered an Americano with cream and a cold brew with cream. This is the first place out of many where the staff asked how much cream we wanted and poured it in front of us. I know it sounds like a little thing but it's the little things that add up. We also asked her about the animal adoption that they support and she was very excited to tell us about it. Once we hit the road, I looked up what Crossroads is all about and I'm in love! What a wonderful community supporting/ animal loving organization. If I lived here I would be here on the regular.

Earlier this week I stopped at Wags & Whiskers for some help with my animals who decided to go on a hunger strike simultaneously. I had forgotten how nice, and necessary, it is to shop local. The folks here have always been so friendly and helpful. Fixed all my critters with one trip and sent me home with some samples just to be sure. While there is the convenience with online shopping, we lose the human contact and helpfulness of shopping local. So this is a reminder, we are blessed with so many wonderful local businesses.
