I worked at this facility for about 2 months and let me just say this, the staff has no idea how to handle and de-escalate situations between pups. Instead they put one pup in a kennel or room by itself unattended all day because they don't want to deal with the issue. There is rust and sharp metal everywhere in and on the building, the fences and falling apart and low enough for dogs to jump over. None of the staff had any professional training whatsoever. While I was there I noticed the turf/grass the yards have are torn up and have huge holes where the dogs will eat gravel and no one does anything to fix the holes. The buildings are run down and leaking with holes in the walls and paint peeling enough that I've seen dogs eat the paint. I do not recommend this facility to anyone who cares about the wellfare of their pets and doesn't want to pay a massive vet bill. read more

They add extra charges for walking your dog or charge for boarding. All I want is my pet groomed. I've come in every 6-8 weeks for a couple years. I always give a nice cash tip to the groomer personally. There is a lot of turnover with the groomers. It seems the best ones leave the quickest. The last several times they continue to add extra charges plus the cost of grooming has went up. When asking for the extra charges to be dropped the owner said some people just don't need to come here so I no longer do. Lots of places with friendlier people that don't try to cheat the customers with extra unexpected charges. Its seems the people boarding their pets are happy but I do not recommend this place for regular grooming. read more

Absolutely botched my dogs ears. The groomer said she had some knots on the back of her ears but that has nothing to do with the way she cut the front of her ears, they are completely uneven and choppy. Looks like she closed her eyes and just started cutting. I even showed them a reference picture when I dropped my dog off which was a waste of time I guess because she just did whatever she wanted. Also they are not clear about how long they will be with your dog. My appointment details said 8am-9:30am when I clicked the link, the girl on the phone even said she shouldn't take long because she's a small dog when we set up the appointment. I dropped her off around 8:10am and she wasn't ready till almost 2pm. They also charge a fee for "daycare" for how long they had her. I live 5 minutes from there, if I knew they would do that I wouldn't have booked there. The girl said if I want her done at a certain time it would be a $10 fee, wish they were more transparent when booking first time appointments. Definitely will not be back. read more

There's no other place in the Nashville area I would trust. We have a 6 lb mini poodle puppy and the idea of daycare and boarding was extremely scary just because of all the crazy stories we have heard. On my dog's first day of daycare, he was so sad to have to leave, and woke up the next couple mornings excited, hoping to go back. Our dog loves other dogs but can get scared at times and from what we saw checking in on the cameras, staff did a great job of not only monitoring play time but loving on the dogs. I remember a moment when we checked in and a a staff member picked up our little guy and gave him the sweetest hug, it melted our heart. There are so many amazing options here. We did a whole week of boarding, which leading up to I was overwhelmingly anxious but after day care, Nashville Pet Spa has completely earned my trust in all ways possible. My major concern overall was his safety, which I never worried about once over the course of his stay. On top of that, they do so many little things that us pet parents appreciate: cameras, taking pictures, pet report cards. My husband and I joked that our little guy had a better vacation than us and is happier there then he is at home at times. After a weeks stay not only was he clean, safe, healthy, and taken care of, but he was also happy and comfortable, which is more than you can ask for. For all that they offer, their pricing is very competitive. Will continue with day care as our little guy is dying to go back and will recommend Nashville Pet Spa to everyone I know. read more

I cannot say enough great things!! First, Gabby was awesome. She was able to squeeze us in right before Christmas so our little guy was in tip-top shape for Santa! Also, the staff and facilities were amazing! staff is super friendly and Noodle looked sooo happy when he got home. He has some temperament issues because he is almost 15 with cataracts, so we let them know he was skittish around strangers, but they said he was well behaved and he was licking the staff while waging his cute little tail out the door. Love love LOVE NPS!! I was referred to them by For Social Graces. I was kind of hesitant because i didn't know much about puppy daycare but i have to say that it was the best decision I made. Having a puppy during the pandemic and working from home can be quite challenging but NPS made it easier. I'm grateful for the team. I appreciate the care and attention they show my boy Nash. Whenever I've been out of town for work, they keep me in the loop and send me pics or leave a message. When we walk in for daycare or leave for the day they recognize him, call him by his name and show a sincere appreciation for him.
