It would be hard to relate how satisfied I was with his expertise in handling of a very difficult situation. I had lost the use of my right arm completely and some loss in all three other limbs. To make a long story short, following surgery, I had my right arm use back 90%. I would recommend Dr. Barkoh to anyone with spinal problems. He was very professional and kind and I could not have asked for a better surgeon.

I called to book an appointment. Lisa answered the phone, said they wouldn't have any appointments till the end of July. I said "hold on let me tell you my symptoms", told her my symptoms and that "I also had spoke to the doctor on call the night before and she said to call first thing in the morning to get in". Lisa did not care. In a chipper condescending tone, she replied well if you can't wait for an appointment then go to the emergency room or find another doctor. This was said & done with out speaking to the doctors in the office. It's sad when staff run a business like this.

I'm hoping no one else has to experience what I experienced at the hands of Dr. Chandler Mann and his assistant on that day. I must say that prior to this experience, I never had any negative interactions with him. I always felt comfortable and had the utmost respect for him because of the way he treated me. I had very few visits with Dr. Mann because I prefer to take the least amount of medications as possible and I tolerate pain well. The majority of my visits were required in order to have injections scheduled and administered in my back at the hospital. My last visit with him left me feeling disrespected and misjudged. He made assumptions about me that are clearly not a part of my character. I expressed me feeling distraught about his assumptions to his assistant (the girl that sits in the back office) who was cold and calculated. Her tone and body language spoke volumes and she was not willing to listen or hear what I had to say. I vowed to never return to his office or be treated by him. I'm a very patient, kind, compassionate woman of God. An educated, reputable, hard working mother of two amazing sons, one of whom is currently serving our country. There's nothing about me that deserved to be treated in the manner that I was treated by Dr. Mann, his assistant or anyone else. I deserve better!!!! EVERY patient should be provided quality care and treated with respect and dignity regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender assignment, and financial resources or lack there of. I have been back once but I scheduled my appointment to see the Nurse Practitioner who is an angel. I wanted and needed her to know about my experience as well as help me prepare for my back surgery and bid farewell. She has always been amazing and treats me the way I expect and deserve to be treated. I highly recommend her to treat everyone who needs to be treated by someone in this specialty. All of the other staff there with the exception of the girl that's stationed in the back are excellent. I rated 2 because I needed to give credit to my amazing Nurse Practitioner although she deserves 5 on her own. However, I'm rating the practice which includes Dr. Chandler Mann and the not-so-nice girl in the back. Be better...do better!!!!!

He takes the time to truly listen to you and understand your chief concerns, treating you with deep respect and care. He takes the time to educate you on conditions and treatments making sure you are armed to address acute and chronic issues with confidence. She has taken time to research my condition and inquire with other practitioners if there are any tips in how to treat it. Every question has been answered. That day , more often within an hour. And the plan of care is discussed and agreed on by both of us. As a health care provider myself, I am so impressed with the practice. She and the staff go above and beyond. During this time of uncertainty with Covid it can be easy to get lost inside a practice and have real difficulty getting answers. That is the opposite of what you get with this practice.
