But there's something about being around plants that makes me happy. My mom has the most beautiful garden, so when she came to Chico to visit me, I thought she'd love the Plant Barn. It turns out, we both did! I appreciated the welcoming employees, but they also didn't hover. We were able to stroll the property, and admire all of the beautiful plants. It was really peaceful. Although I didn't buy anything, I spotted a few things in the gift shop that will likely bring me back. I've heard that they host classes - wreath making, flower arrangements, etc. - and I would definitely sign up for something like that!

I love little shops like this! BAPA's has something for everyone. Not only is it a mini grocery store, but it also has lots of gift options, local goods, and other odds and ends.
