After having amazing suishi at the Rawbar we walked over to this shop which is just a few steps away from the restaurant. They have so many toys! Stuffed animals! Puzzles! Jewelry! They have house decor items and some yummy smelling candles! This place is packed with so much stuff that the kiddos will have a blast looking at all the toys! You could spend hours in here! They also have nostalgic items which I love ( bought a mood ring and some funny gum). In the back of the shop is the Yo Yo Museum which houses the largest Yo Yo and Yo Yo memorabilia! I knew that I was overpaying, but I needed something to wear for a couple parties and shopping is limited in Chico. Both dresses ripped on the first wear. The stitching tension on Angie dresses is too tight. It snaps and breaks even if you're just trying to get in and out of cars. I'll try to fix mine but the quality is so bad that I'm sure I'll only get a couple more wears out of it. The huge markup is what turns me off from shopping here.

There are a lot of not vintage items just vintage-looking, and some really stained and damaged tops in the front section which are not marked down. The store is very very packed full of clothes as well (and it's already quite small) making it hard to navigate and sort through. I wouldn't pay the prices they are asking, but I would if they put more care into the clothes they're selling and cleaning up the place generally. I think they could make the store easier to navigate and worth the prices by reducing overall inventory by 15%, and removing the stained and damaged and not-vintage clothes from the regular section, and having a distinct clearance section for those items.

But, then there is only 1 check out area, with mostly self-checkouts (with no one to assist understanding how to use them) and 1 (ONE) register person with a waiting line of 5-6 customers. What is so hard about hiring enough people to man more than 1 register and your self-check area?!

The manager, Rod messed up a refund, then when I went to the store to return my rental he wouldn't…read morecome out to help me, made me wait 5 mins then came out and pretended I didn't exist. When I told him what was going on (didnt refund the correct amount and charged me for items I didn't need). He became upset, raised his voice, cursed, refused to help me, told me to call customer service but then wouldn't give me the number, i kept repeating to just do my refund so i can leave. He laughed at me then called 911 and exaggerated the entire situation to try and get me arrested. Luckily for me I recorded the entire interaction. I'm going to request a copy of the 911 call, the police body cams and I'm going to send that all to their corporate office with my video. I have never been treated so poorly. I found out last minute I couldn't wear my black suit to a wedding, he was able to get me a modern suit rental at short notice. Will defintiely go again.

I followed up with George after not hearing from him 4 months later asking for an update - he responded they would be done within 3 weeks , 5 months I followed again - again he lead me on, 6 months same thing, 8 months I asked for a refund , 9 months I asked for a refund. It is august now, over 10'months since I paid for suits which George never delivered to me . Unbelievable a local establishment would treat a customer this way. I would recommend people run from George and his business, he cannot be trusted.
