I was also disappointed by the instructors. The first instructor got all righteous and told us how "sad" we made her feel after she asked people to move over to make space and we didn't automatically respond, in part because some were confused about which way we should move (it was a very large class of more than 50 people.) She treated us like an annoyed mother telling her children how disappointed she was with them. I did get a good workout, but was a bit perturbed by her ungenerous feeling toward us. Give people the benefit of doubt before reprimanding them! The teacher of the other class was also off putting as she started her class by asking students what yoga meant to them. I don't think it's appropriate to quiz students about why they're in class and then subject others to their answers. Others might disagree, but I just want to practice and then get on with my day, not be tested to see that my relationship with yoga is intact. Needless to say, this studio is not for me!

I would say that this studio gets a 4 star is because the time I attended the most, their heat was broken for a good 3 weeks and so classes were canceled. It made it difficult for a few weeks but also the studios are upstairs then the 2nd downstairs but you can't exit that way, you have to go up and back down to exit. I don't mind a few more steps added to my daily goal but it didn't make much sense. I did appreciate that it was handicap accesible though so maybe that's why.

I have, but I now have a medical condition that prevents me from feeling totally comfortable with taking that risk, so I specifically looked for yoga classes that weren't heated. (You wouldn't believe how hard that seems to be to find these days!) Once she let me know, I had to leave and unfortunately, I never got the credits back from ClassPass. The lack of cooler classes aside, the space was clean and sanitary. It seemed like it could be a nice place for a workout if they had something available that was up my alley.

I requested a Sound Bath class, and it was the perfect self-care/relaxing activity. Ilze taught our class and she was phenomenal. When we arrived the room was set up for us and we were the only ones in the studio with the instructor. My team was very happy and relaxed afterward! I 100% recommend this for team building! She walked me through benefits of different herbs specific to my situation. She listened and took the time to hear me out. So much was included within the session I had which was a Guided Healing Chakra Alignment. She had me lay under a warm red light on my belly for a few minutes, did a reading based on my birth info then prepped the herb to steam. The yoni steam with the sound bath was absolutely beautiful. I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled class but no one informed me which room the class would be in or what equipment we needed, which is usually communicated. When I walked in I noticed there was no one in the room and started wondering if something had changed because classes are normally full. I heard people asking about weights, so I assumed they were attending a different class. I stepped outside to use the restroom and waited to see if anyone else would come in, but I was still unsure of where my class was being held. When I went outside again, I saw someone rushing out for a block and realized the class was actually happening in a different room. By that point, the class had already started, and I was scrambling to figure out where to go and what equipment I needed. I had to carry everything from the other room into the correct class area while trying not to interrupt. I'm not sure if it was because I was perceived as being "late," but the instructor, Kylie Gifford, told me the class was full, even though there appeared to be one open spot in the front. I had woken up at 6 am, driven 25-30 minutes to get there, and had already taken my pre-workout in preparation for the class. Being offered to take the 8 AM class instead didn't feel like a practical solution after already making that effort and arriving on time. I left feeling upset, embarrassed and disappointed by the experience. I understand things happen, but I hope the studio can improve communication especially with class pass members to ensure they feel welcomed and know exactly where to go and what they need when they arrive. I truly enjoy this studio and hope this feedback helps create a better experience for future guests.
