I have had two visits in the last two weeks. (One for an emergency, which they got me in the very…read moresame morning - thank you!) The second for a consultation. I was able to meet both dentists, plus a few of the staff members. I want to thank Nora for getting me in ASAP! Following up with my insurance and my next appointment. She is very nice, friendly and professional. She makes a great first impression for the office. Thank you, Nora! Secondly, thank you Alma for the first x-ray session that was comfortable and thorough! I typically dread the x-ray part due to reasons we all know so I won't go into detail! She made the experience quick and very easy! Thank you, Alma! Dr. Payne, thank you for rescuing me and reducing my pain! I appreciate your time and squeezing me in at the very last minute! I am feeling much better! Thank you, Dr. Payne! Dr. Haynie, thank you for spending time with me and not rushing in and out! Thank you for answering my questions and overall making me feel relieved about questions and concerns I had! Thank you, Dr. Haynie! Overall, I give 10 stars for the best dental appointment I have ever had! No lie! The vibe at the office is relaxed and friendly. If you're nervous about going to the dentist, you will feel relaxed here! There are two locations. I have only been to the May Street location. That is the office I am rating today. I am sure the Belmont location will be just as nice. :) Have a great weekend!

I have been going to Hood River Dental for 10 years now. I have found the doctors to be amazing…read moreprofessionals; skilled, engaging, polite, funny, just fantastic! Dentistry has come a long ways, and as expected, HRD seems to keep up with new techniques, equipment, and trends. It's never fun to have to go to the dentist, however HRD has managed, in most cases to ease the pain quite effectively. Generally dentist visits are expensive. HRD is no different, but I do feel I have been treated fairly, received great compassionate care, and am generally pleased with my experiences with HRD.

This place is the bees knees folks…read more I have visited 3 different pediatricians in the past couple months, my google search bar is chock full of things like "small pediatric office, personable pediatrician, ect ect" while those 3 pediatricians we visited may have been fine for some people they simple wouldn't do for us.. Because we were spoiled by our previous pediatrician, or maybe bias.. Regardless to say Rich Martin is to blame for treating us too darn good.. The guy offered to help us move if that tells you anything.. And he's a car guy too, best.pediatrician.ever You see, Rich always remembered us, when we had a sick kid in the middle of the night we could talk to him, not an advice nurse. He would call us or have someone call us the following day to make sure our child was doing well. Visits that would take 5 minutes most places took an hour with him, you got to put all your concerns on the table and discuss your options. He isnt old school and set in his ways but rather perceptive while still being levelheaded. He would always check the kids over from head to toe to make sure they were healthy. The bottom line is the guy has compassion and cares about his patients.. Not to say the pediatricians down here are jerks, they just have too many patients to remember one kid. We began seeing Rich Martin when our oldest son was 3 months old, he was still working at La Clinica, 3 years later we had our second son, Rich was opening his own practice (awesome!) La Clinica left a lot to be desired... The new office is fantastic, it's completely set up for kids without being tacky looking. We were expecting our daughter in 2012 and were very happy to have the peace of mind that shed have a fantastic doctor. Then my husband was offered a job in the metro area, we were less than thrilled to be leaving our beloved doc. Our daughter was born and we visited the new ped for the first time, the visit was rather rushed by the doc.. After leaving we sat in the car I said to my husband "well what did you think?" "What did you think?" He said " It was okay I guess, but he didn't even ask us if we had any questions or look her over, he seemed in a hurry. I just miss Dr Martin." We were on the same page. So here I sit, trying to find a pediatrician somewhat like good old "Dr Mart" as my oldest son calls him.. It's just not happening, because a good pediatrician is rare these days, especially over here. However having a husband who works mandatory overtime and being a full time student doesn't really make time for 4 hour round trip visits to the doc. So the only solution is to beg him to move his practice, or be our doctor via Skype.. Totally worth it if you ask me.

Recently my son got nursemaid's elbow and Dr Martin met us at his office at 8:30pm. I have never…read morehad a physician so dedicated to his work that he would happily take time from his personal life to help us out. Not only did we avoid a pricy emergency room trip we were able to see someone my son is comfortable with. Dr Martin's passion truly shows in his work. The wait times for standard appointments may be on the long side but they are worth it. I won't take my son to anyone else.
