There are excellent teachers in each class that I feel really care about my children. They communicate with daily tickets as well as pictures and app message updates so you don't feel you've missed anything. When the time comes they provide morning and afternoon rides to school for working parents when kids attend kindergarten. I always feel my children are safe at Apple Blossoms.

Choosing childcare is such an important decision, and while every family's experience is different, we are fortunate that ours has been nothing short of outstanding. Apple Blossoms has been an incredible partner in our children's growth. Over the years, we have watched our daughters thrive in ways that amaze us--growing in manners, responsibility, independence, vocabulary, communication, and overall positive behavior both at school and at home. Each teacher we've had the pleasure of working with has treated our girls with warmth, respect, and the kind of care you would hope for in a childcare setting. As twins, they've also been celebrated as individuals with their own cubbies, folders, and needs. They have never been treated as a "unit," but as two unique children whose differences are embraced and nurtured. The discipline and structure at Apple Blossoms have been exceptional. Our girls are great listeners, follow directions well, and when told "no," they don't tantrum but instead move on respectfully. These are skills that will serve them for life. They are also excellent eaters, make smart food choices, and benefit from the movement and outdoor play that is prioritized whenever the weather is safe. I especially appreciate the emphasis on fresh air, something I hope will mean even more snow play opportunities now that they are more independent. Academically, they have exceeded our expectations. After their very first month of Pre-K, they are already on the fast track to word identification and reading. Educators outside of Apple Blossoms have commented on how advanced their writing, spatial awareness, color use, and artwork are compared to typical kindergarten and even first-grade levels. Potty training was also a very positive experience for our family. After a short three-day introduction method at home, the classroom team was more than willing to adopt our practices. Both of our girls were completely potty trained in their early twos, and the school respected our choice to use pull-ups only at nap time, which made the transition between home and school seamless. Communication has been a strong point since the very beginning. When it comes to matters specifically related to our children, teachers have always been proactive and thoughtful in keeping us informed. Those one-on-one updates at drop-off and pick-up have given us confidence and peace of mind from the infant room through Pre-K. We personally value the face-to-face interactions we receive most of all. While the app is useful for quick notes, we don't expect teachers to be tied to their phones during the day while they are educating our children and we truly appreciate the personal updates we receive in conversation. We also encourage our daughters to share the "peaks and valleys" of their day, which helps us follow up thoughtfully if needed-- though, more often than not, they only report happy experiences aside from the occasional playground dispute. What has improved over time is the broader communication around classroom or school-wide changes and updates, which feels clearer and more consistent now than in earlier years. The program also recognizes holidays, cultural observances, and disability awareness days, making learning both educational and fun while fostering inclusion. Activities have been age-appropriate yet enriching, from classroom lessons to nature walks and field trips. Finally, the convenience of Apple Blossoms cannot be overstated. Their extended hours (6:30 AM-5:30 PM) are a lifeline for public service families like ours, and their commitment to staying open during inclement weather whenever safely possible shows their dedication to supporting essential workers. We are truly grateful for the foundation Apple Blossoms has built for our daughters. From academics to social development, independence, and beyond, they are thriving. We recommend Apple Blossoms without reservation.

Checking in is a breeze, the front desk staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and there are plenty of vending machines with healthy (some more than others) and refreshing drinks and snacks. The Merrimack location has an indoor track, racquetball courts, cardio and weight equipment, a swimming pool (for lap swim, classes, swim lessons, team swim, etc), as I mentioned previously, three locations for fitness classes (aerobic and yoga area, spin and dance studio that is used by the barre class). I love Yoga, Zumba (regular and toning), Dance Fit, and kickboxing. The instructors are friendly, welcoming and informative. I always have fun even if I am not the most coordinated individual. It is a great way to cross train for my regular hiking and running routines. The fee price is more than your typical PF type place but offers so much for the cost. They have reduced fees for individuals who may be in need due to low income, disability, etc. I am a fan and look forward to going.

I have a 3.5 year old little girl who is terrified of herself and the water and in just 5 lessons, she's progressed so well! Brittany is an excellent swim coach and my daughter has definitely bonded with her. We look forward to coming here every week. It's managed and ran well.

The place is extremely spacious, giving children lots of room to play; and the layout is unique and refreshing. When I came the teachers were warm and attentive and extremely friendly. I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. I do have to say that I am shocked by the negative review by Amanda O. On here. I was shown around and saw the playpens folded up and neatly tucked away; Mats for nap time were all organized in a closet, and toys were in toy boxes. I did not see any toys in cribs. I'd also like to point out that given how many children and toys there are, the place was impressively neat and organized. As for the baby room, I thought it was a great set up! It's its own separate room; confined and set up so the person in there can be attentive to all babies. The only reason we did not go with Ms Darlene's was merely because of distance. Even though we were unable to attend I highly recommend Ms Darlene's!
