Things I love about this Super 1:…read more 1- The prices are good. I drive here from Montana to do my shopping and I save a lot of money doing that. 2- It's open 24 hours. This is a big thing for me too. I need a place that is open when it is dark and up here, it gets dark very late during the summer time. 3- The produce section is pretty decent. It's a large selection with a nice display and it has a LOT to choose from. 4- The specialty section is large and nice! I really need this considering I am Gluten Free and allergic to a lot of foods. They have a very good selection to choose from and some of the items I cannot find anywhere else. They even have chocolate So Delicious Coconut milk that I have trouble finding elsewhere. 5- The workers are nice and polite, even at 1 in the morning. 6- The location is easy to get to. It's right off the highway so it's easy to find. A plus in my book! 7- This may be silly but I like that no one has ever complained about us eating in the parking lot. When we are done shopping, we set up a quick food making area on the truck of the car and eat. We don't eat out, so eating what we buy is it for us. We've had a few funny looks, but mostly everyone smiles or laughs at us as we fill up before we hit the road going home. Great store! Great prices! Love it!

They rotate constantly so there's not a lot of consistency in that department, but if I wanna try something new but don't wanna pay a lot in case it doesn't work, their selection makes it way easier. A member of my household went back in to get one deli item that we hadn't gotten. Because you walk past the doors to get back to the registers, she forgot she hadn't bought this item yet and began to walk out. The security person saw a confused and distressed young woman, barely over 18, making no attempt to conceal or otherwise indicate an intent to be doing anything dishonest.... And decided that the appropriate response was not to see if she was willing to pay or have a simple conversation. Instead he detained this young woman for a half an hour while calling in law enforcement. When the police officer said they didn't see any evidence of an actual crime, the security guy instead made her sign something before she could leave. She didn't understand it, but it said she owed the guy's Security Company (not paid to Super One themselves) the cost of the $12 single food item PLUS $250 in "restitutions"!! This is not someone who has any prior issues with this or another store. This is not someone who was combative or deceitful. I'm convinced he saw someone confused and vulnerable and decided he could flex his "authority" and bully them over a trivial issue to make some money for his company and pretend like he's doing something resembling his actual job. He also trespassed them for a year from the store, which is frankly pointless because none of us will be shopping here again with this hostile approach.

The cashier lady was ringing up my groceries and asked me if the apricots on the belt were peaches or nectarines. I told her that they were neither and were actually apricots. She then looks at me accusingly as if I'm trying to steal and says "Those aren't apricots. Apricots are small. Are they peaches or nectarines? I again inform her that the small, fuzzy orange and red things that look like apricots in front of her are indeed apricots and she responds by taking the bag of fruit and walking over to the produce section to see if she can figure out what these mysterious objects that she has made it perfectly clear she thinks I'm trying to steal are. After she confirms I'm not trying to steal peaches or nectarines by declaring them as apricots (which are more expensive anyway), she finally goes back to the line she has been failing to keep moving and finishes ringing up my groceries. Maybe it's because I was a bit sweaty because I was stopping in on a bike trip but this woman had a real attitude with me when all I was trying to do was buy some apricots. One of the reviews that's "not recommended" seems to share a similar experience where someone was presumed to be stealing because of how they looked.
