Sharing his School Year 2024-25 assessment for Kindergarten below after attending/graduating from preschool at Seeds of Tomorrow: Name writing: He has a very strong pencil grip and formation of letters. He can move on to writing his last name too if you'd like! Our end of year "name goal" is writing first and last name in the lines with correct letter formation. Letter names: 52/52 (above standard for this time of year) Letter sounds: 29/30 (26 sounds were the typical sounds from A-Z and the extra 4 sounds were digraphs. He know 3/4 digraphs! So awesome! He just didn't know "ck"). He is above standards for this time of year in sounds. Phonemic Awareness: 18/22. I went further with him on this assessment than I did with anyone else so far. His sense of language is very strong. Phonemic awareness is hearing sounds in words. He was able to identify beginning sounds, ending sounds, he could blend words together (verbally), and also break them apart. He is further along in this area than a lot of his peers. He is above this standard for this time of year for phonemic awareness. Irregular words (sight words): 22/22 (a lot of kids come in knowing 0-3 words, he is above this standard too!) Identifying numbers 0-20: 21/21 (above standard for this time of year) Identifying 2D Shapes: 5/5 (meeting standards) Counting by 1's to 100: 100/100 (above standards for this time of year) His scores reflect that he is VERY prepared for kindergarten. She loved all of her room 4 teachers and always talking about school on the way home. After being potty trained a couple of months ago, she is now in Room 1 with Ms. Amela. She loves going to school every day and learning new skills and play with her friends. Despite several issues along the way, I also very appreciate Ms. Sarah, the director of the school. She is very informative and knowledgeable. She always follows up with issues that we raised, follow through and come up with solutions that work for us.

She grew so much while she was there. The teachers are warm and caring, and you can tell they really love what they do. It was always so nice to be see their arts and crafts hung up right by the front door so that you could see what they had worked on recently. I also thought it was awesome that they spoke Spanish to her. I've struggled to keep that going at home, so it meant a lot to know she was learning and practicing at school without me even being there. The school also did a bunch of family events that we loved. Daddy and Me was always a favorite because we got to come in, watch the kids perform, and do crafts together. They also put on fun things for the holidays, like Halloween and Christmas, where the kids got to celebrate and we could be part of it too. It was great watching her play with her friends and have her show me all her favorite places to play in the outdoor play area. The hours were always great so if you're a working parent you have that peace of mind that you know your kids are taken care of so you can focus on work. We're really thankful for the time our daughter had at ABC Preschool. She made great memories, learned so much, and we always felt like she was in the right place. Unfortunately, other Yelp feedback about the slow and sometimes lack of responses (via phone or email) are true in my experience. Phone calls or emails go unanswered for days or weeks at a time, if at all. Fortunately, interaction with the admin office are mostly unnecessary after the child is actually enrolled. I'm hoping this area will be improved! If there are any "emergencies" or issues with my child at school, the teachers are very good about either calling or emailing us. And teachers are timely in their responses to our proactive emails to them as well. All in all, HHP has been a very positive place for my child.

My little girl started at Miss Helen's at the age of 3 and stayed for two years. Thanks to the preschool's early focus on math and reading, my daughter had already met or 95% of her requirements at her assessment by October, two months into the school year. Her kindergarten teacher was so impressed she asked for the preschool's address and contact info so she could check it out herself for her own son. Now we're in Spring and my daughter is still flourishing and exceeding all expectations for the Common Core curriculum, and I know a lot of it is thanks to her foundation she built in preschool. Going beyond just the educational requirements, my daughter loved the preschool, her teachers, her classmates, and all the activities. The school is very clean and organized, and the children are taught to maintain that. All the students are guided not just in learning their basic manners with "please" and "thank you", but also just showing kindness and acceptance for all. The schedule is well-structured for kids, and even separated for a period for the kids preparing for kindergarten. My daughter still asks to visit Miss Helen's on days off, and pulls out the little photo album Miss Helen made of her and her friends, a little gift Miss Helen was so kind enough to make for every graduating student.

She loved all of her room 4 teachers and always talking about school on the way home. After being potty trained a couple of months ago, she is now in Room 1 with Ms. Amela. She loves going to school every day and learning new skills and play with her friends. Despite several issues along the way, I also very appreciate Ms. Sarah, the director of the school. She is very informative and knowledgeable. She always follows up with issues that we raised, follow through and come up with solutions that work for us.

My kiddo went to Little bud 5 years ago, although only for 7 months (short length because we switched to my niece's preschool to get transportation help from family). Love Miss Michelle and the teachers! They are loving and kind. Love that they teach the kiddos mandarin! We don't speak but can understand mandarin; my kiddo was able to pick it up and even recited some little poems. Long hours to accommodate most working parents and delicious healthy food (that my picky eater actually ate) is provided, making things so much easier on parents. Thank you Miss Michelle and Little Bud staff. You are all amazing and I don't know what we would've done without you!

They are also open until 6pm which is great for working parents. Our son has attended this daycare since he was less than two years old and he's now turning five and starting kindergarten in the fall. They have supported our son through potty training, nap-time habits, and learning to read and count. In fact, they have taught him letters, numbers, colors, days of the week, and other sight words in English and Chinese! Michelle and her staff have created an environment that is safe, supportive, inclusive, and diverse. Here's a tip: get on the waiting list ASAP because every August a few kids move on to kindergarten and a couple of spots open up.

Sharing his School Year 2024-25 assessment for Kindergarten below after attending/graduating from preschool at Seeds of Tomorrow: Name writing: He has a very strong pencil grip and formation of letters. He can move on to writing his last name too if you'd like! Our end of year "name goal" is writing first and last name in the lines with correct letter formation. Letter names: 52/52 (above standard for this time of year) Letter sounds: 29/30 (26 sounds were the typical sounds from A-Z and the extra 4 sounds were digraphs. He know 3/4 digraphs! So awesome! He just didn't know "ck"). He is above standards for this time of year in sounds. Phonemic Awareness: 18/22. I went further with him on this assessment than I did with anyone else so far. His sense of language is very strong. Phonemic awareness is hearing sounds in words. He was able to identify beginning sounds, ending sounds, he could blend words together (verbally), and also break them apart. He is further along in this area than a lot of his peers. He is above this standard for this time of year for phonemic awareness. Irregular words (sight words): 22/22 (a lot of kids come in knowing 0-3 words, he is above this standard too!) Identifying numbers 0-20: 21/21 (above standard for this time of year) Identifying 2D Shapes: 5/5 (meeting standards) Counting by 1's to 100: 100/100 (above standards for this time of year) His scores reflect that he is VERY prepared for kindergarten. They take really good care of them. Our daughter blossomed a lot since going there. She's learned so much. She knows all her alphabets and knows how to write her name. She loves going to school. It's a wonderful and safe environment. I would recommend this preschool to everyone.

We are in love with lil angels daycare because of how much information they give about your child…read more for $25 we could sign up for the watch me grow app and we could see what our baby was doing at any given time on the webcams (unless they were out on the playground). It gave us peace of mind to be able to see him. They also record everything in the procare app: what he ate that day, how long he slept, how many times they changed his diaper and even if he had diarrhea. They also take cute little pictures every time he does an arts & crafts activity. We put him in daycare starting at 5 months and since we did it so early he never got stranger danger. I'm sad to hear that some parents had bad experiences here but it makes sense because running a daycare is a stressful job and we parents are very protective of our babies. It's possible to have a bad interaction with one staff member but I have not had this experience. Our 16 Month old is always very excited and happy to go to daycare.

The teachers often didn't seem to know how these incidents happened. One day, while we were parking, we overheard the director screaming at my grandson in anger. As soon as she saw my daughter, she made excuses and changed her tone of voice. This was a traumatic experience, revealing that the staff is not qualified to care for the children. During the heat, they would take the kids outside without shade and without ensuring they had water. When we picked up my grandson, he was overheated. My daughter eventually pulled him out of the program for his emotional and physical safety. Now, my grandson is in a different, more structured and organized preschool, he feels safe and secure.
