I cannot say enough good things about this daycare. My daughter was born at the end of January and started school at just 6 weeks old while I was going through a divorce and returning to work. From the very beginning, the office staff--Mary, Jenifer, Kaitlynn, and Morgan--treated me with such grace, compassion, and kindness. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt confident that my baby was safe and well cared for. Her teachers, Ms. Euraja Mason and Ms. Makayla Walka, have poured so much love into my daughter that they feel like family. Knowing she is surrounded by people who truly care about her gives me so much peace as a mother. I have three kids, and all of my older children attended Primrose, but enrolling my youngest here was the best decision I could have made. I am so grateful I made the switch--I would never look back. Even after moving all the way to Ahwatukee, I still drive my daughter to this school every single day because I would never want to take her anywhere else. This school has been such a blessing for our family, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where their child will not only be safe, but deeply loved. read more

Looooveee this place. Very welcoming from the beginning and our son Nash loves all his teachers. They pride themselves on early childhood development and it shows. Nash has hit his milestones and is growing everyday. His teachers and the staff Hannah, Euraja, Kira, Jennifer, Morgan, Mary, Makayla, and MaryCait play a huge role in making sure Nash has a great day everyday. My daughter has been at Little Sunshine's Higley location for a little over 2 years and overall, we've really loved our experience. I love getting updates throughout the day through the LuvNotes app, and really appreciate all the pictures. I enjoy the Family First Fridays and other events that encourage family participation. Lastly, the school was incredibly supportive when my husband, my daughter's dad, passed away very unexpectedly in November. They immediately put our tuition on hold, reserved our place, sent gifts to our home for my daughter, and helped make it as smooth of a transition as possible when she returned to school 2 months later. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and compassion during such a difficult time. Sending your child to daycare is one of the hardest decisions a parent can make, but LSP makes it so much easier! Ms. Euraja, Ms. Kira, Ms. Jenifer all are wonderful teachers. I love that the school has an app, has great safety features, and it has amazing outdoor space. The indoor space is calming but still stimulating for a growing mind! A very honest review - Our family has witnessed some growing pains at Little Sunshine's Higley, but after leaving and returning, I have to say--we truly appreciate the positive changes that have been made. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that both the curriculum and care provided are top-notch. The children are happy and excited to be here, and my little one is truly thriving. We love Little Sunshine's on Higley. My daughter started there at 2 years old and had been home before that. It was her first time away from home and all she's familiar with. She cried every morning for a few weeks, but now she runs right up to her teacher with a big smile. This tells me she feels safe and cared for. I like that they post so many updates about their day. Our family loves Little Sunshine's at Higley. We've actually used all 3 locations and they're all great, but have spent the most time at Higley. All of the staff is loving and caring and they really feel like family. I always joke because I feel like everything my kids know they learned there, I haven't taught them anything! I also love how cute the place is and I like the meals they provide for the children. The only issue we have had is sometimes they have a lot of turn around. I don't really fault them for this because I know it can be hard to find good help. Lately it hasn't been like that though, it just happens sporadically. read more

As a parent, finding the right environment for my child is of utmost importance, and I am thrilled to say that LSP has exceeded my expectations in every way. It was very stressful having to leave my LO to go to work, but now after dropping Mia off, I have no worries knowing that she is having a great time with her teachers and friends, learning new things, and eating yummy food. Ms. Sharon and Ms. Makayla are so loving and happy to see Mia in the morning, that I can leave feeling confident that my child is being taken care of. One of my favorite things about LSP is the App - I can log in throughout the day and it keeps me up to date on her feedings, diaper changes, and activities- PLUS they send the most adorable pictures. We enrolled our daughter after moving to Gilbert. We loved her last school and hoped LSP would be just as good. I can say that it is! From the very first day, we felt that the staff really cared for our daughter and even our family. Ms. Ameerah has been our daughter's teacher and her name is definitely heard in our house in the evenings and on the weekends! It's clear that our daughter cares for her and is cared for in return. Ms. Ameerah is also very responsive to my emails. The director, Ms. Ashley, was incredibly helpful when we were considering enrollment. She continues to be very responsive and personable via email and during pick-up and drop-off. read more

We've been with other daycares, but none of them feel as cozy and nurturing as Little Sunshine's Playhouse in Gilbert. Everyone there has been terrific to our family, but especially Ms. Shanta, Ms. Madi, Ms. Sharon, Ms. Val, Ms. Makayla, Ms. Maddie, Ms. Jennifer, and Ms. Morgan. A 30 day notice is excessive when they don't provide proper care. I tried to compromise with a 2 week notice, and they did not grant that because they value money over the happiness of your children. They are inconsistent, understaffed, and snooty. There was a couple times the ratio was about 20 to 1. They are unprepared. Turnover rate is high. My son didn't want to go anymore, he stopped potty training successfully, toddlers were becoming more aggressive with eachother because they cram 20+ kids in a classroom and move them around constantly. it was causing me anxiety to take him to LSPH. I reached out in hopes they would work with me.. after making me repeat my list of valid reasons 3 times, Jenn failed to return my call when she said she would to let me know if they will grant the 2 weeks.. I called her back following day, she said I'm obligated to pay the full 30 days. They don't care if you aren't happy. They don't take accountability for violating federal laws unable to maintain proper ratios. I've had to keep my son home several times from stomach bugs. They take a lot of days off outside of holidays where you still have to pay. I've dished out thousands of dollars for lack of consistency. There was a couple really good sweet teachers. For the first half of our time there it was pretty good.. but again, high turnover rate. Things went downhill fast. A lot of people left suddenly. Not all the teachers are warm and welcoming. I wouldn't recommend LSPH on higley at their current condition. read more

Scheduled a zoom meeting/virtual tour for today 4/30/21 at 10am. The days leading up to the meeting we received multiple requests to confirm our meeting on 4/30 at 10am (we confirmed each request). At 9:56am we logged into the zoom meeting and waited for the host to join the lobby. At 10:13am we were still waiting and decided to call and see what happened. Girl who answered the phone said "oh i have a visitor in our building, i can join after i am done with that". No email or call to say they weren't coming, or had to move the appointment out...Just blew us off. This is a great example of how this place is poorly managed and a huge red flag. I cant imagine the horrible communication we would receive if we had to deal with our child being there. There are plenty of other day cares we can choose from and will be sure to leave reviews of this experience everywhere we can. read more

My 2 1/2 year old daughter has been attending Little Sunshine Playhouse in Gilbert for about 5 months now. She has loved every single day of it and is always coming home raving about how much fun she had that day. The teachers (our daughter especially loves Ms. Jenifer and Ms. Gracie) are all fantastic, the children happen to be phenomenal as well and the administrators are always so helpful. We were skeptical at first because it is a little more on the expensive side, but we are SO grateful we made the decision to enroll her here and we're going to be part of the LSP family for as long as we can! read more

This used to be a good daycare, but teachers constantly leaving, reports not being filled out, kids constantly being moved to different rooms due to short staff. Kids need consistency and that's just not happening here. read more

Our daughter has attended LSP Higley since they opened and she was 6 months old. A year later we are so amazed at her development. She is so well taken care of and learning so much every day. The covid protocols are excellent. Her current teacher, Miss Natalee, is wonderful and a great communicator which makes things so easy! The head teachers, Veronica and Whitney, are outstanding as well! It truly feels like family are taking care of our little girl. I couldn't recommend it any more highly. read more

We recently moved here from CO and thankfully were able to get in to Little Sunshine after putting ourselves on the wait list. I must say it has been the smoothest transition for our 2 1/2 year old and our teacher Ms.Abby is the ABSOLUTE BEST! It's always stressful switching school and wondering how your kids will react, but Ms. Abby helped make it a smooth transition and he is loving every day at his new school! The staff at the Higley location is the absolute best. You can tell that Ashley (Director) and her leadership team took their time to carefully select their faculty members. We love this school! Our son has been going for about 8 months. Started with Ms. Madi and Ms. Val in the 1's class. They are INCREDIBLE!! He just turned two and he's been counting for months, knows colors and letters as well. He's learned SO MUCH in just a short time! He's now with Ms. Maddie (there are two) and Ms. Ruthy in the 2's class and we adore them as well! Every teacher my son has interacted with has left a positive impression on him. Ms. Jenifer, I cannot forget to mention. Ms. Jennifer fills in the classrooms here and there and my son loves her! Just the sight of her gets him giggling. I walked into this facility as a terrified first time mom who'd never been away from my 18 month old for longer than an hour. I drop him off worry free now, I never thought that would happen. My husband and I had our daughter scheduled to start at LSP in January, but had an abrupt change with our babysitter and Mrs. Ashley worked with us and helped us transition sooner. Mrs. Ashley is an excellent communicator and is very involved in the program. Our daughter's current teachers, Mrs. Andrea and Mrs. Ashley, are wonderful. The daily LuvNotes seem very personalized and share specific moments, despite how busy the teachers are. We really feel they know our daughter and recognize her little nuances. Our daughter comes home happy and tired every day, so we know she has great stimulating days filled with activity and loving care. Mrs. Janel and Mrs. Veronica are always very upbeat and make drop offs a really positive experience. They both share sweet stories and information about our daughter and start her day (and mine) off positively. My husband does most pick ups and says the same wonderful things about Mrs. Whitney. Our once shy baby absolutely loves LSP and has been thriving. It warms our hearts as parents and makes us confident leaving our sweet baby in their care each day! read more

Our son is getting ready to move onto kindergarten in 2 weeks and he has attended LSP since he was 18 months old. This past weekend the school hosted a PreK graduation celebration for the kiddos and families. It was a touching ceremony for everyone and truly touching to see how much the management and teachers care about these kids. They went above and beyond with the little details to make the ceremony special for everyone. Our son will be entering kindergarten at age 4, and passed not only 1 but 2 early entrance tests to start kindergarten early. We attribute his preparedness for kindergarten to the teachers over the past 3 years. We also appreciate how the school handled things during the pandemic. We could not be more grateful for our experience at LSP Higley and thankful that our son has had such a great foundation and experience into his early education. We were excited to take our 3 month old here and couldn't believe we could get in right away. I went for a tour and only got to see the nursery he would be in. It looked clean and two ladies were in there taking care of 10 children. One lady was very nice and greeted us but the other one was quiet. We took our son for his first day and we were sad when we picked him up later that day. He was covered in spit-up and freezing. his eyes were read from crying so much and his throat was raspy from the crying and his reflux. we figured he was in a new environment and he needed to adjust. We took him for his second day and this is where I decided he would not go back. When we showed up, he was covered in spit up again AND his hair and whole backside was soaked with sweat. I asked how long he had been laying in the crib and the lady said only 20 minutes. I am sorry but my son has never been covered in sweat like this. While holding him he just looked lost and broke my heart. I feel they don't give infants enough attention and just leave them in a chair or crib the whole day. When we tried to cancel, they still charged us for the rest of the month and showed no consideration to how our son was handled at all. Shows us they are in it for money and have no customer service. It took us 4 phone calls to the gilbert location with NO call back ever and two emails to get any response from cooperate. thank goodness we found an amazing in home daycare where he is loved and happy. I was told by corporate that it takes children up to 2 weeks to get used to the facility but found with the right care they adjust faster as he was adjusted the first day in a new daycare. Just be mindful of your children! read more

My one and only child attends this daycare and I have no regrets. The staff at LSP is AMAZING!! Director Ashley is excellent at what she does and is attentive. All my daughters previous teachers were great. Her current teachers Ms. Ameerah and Ms. Sklyer genuinely love the kids and are kind and mindful to my daughters needs. I have seen tremendous growth in my daughters vocabulary and social skills. I enjoy seeing my daughters face when I pick her up, I can tell she had a great active day. We are so grateful for the staff at little Sunshine's! Everyone is so passionate about providing the best care for kids.
