Wonderful Tea Place! Little Sweet is now a new favorite for us and we will be regulars. The pot of milk tea is delicious + great deal and the cakes are to die for! We had the honeydew and Peach Oolong cake and they were so delicious, I don't know what they use to make the frosting but it was perfect. The service is also excellent!! The lady that helped us and brought our food out was one of the kindest people I have ever met. She was super helpful and attentive despite it not being table side service. The food was good too. We also quite enjoyed the seating space and found it super relaxing. So good we went two days in a row! Can't wait to be back again.

While the price was a little on the higher side, I'd definitely come again!

Boba is just the right amount of sweetness and the owner is very nice to talk to. My bf loves their mango mochi. The sour candy drink is 10/10. I even ordered a custom cake from them for a good price!

Absolutely adorable ambiance and such wonderful staff/management/owner! I tried the Honeydew Cake slice and the Avocado Pomelo Sago (less sweet) - both were delicious! The Earl Grey Mousse Cake had great flavor, though the firm jelly-like top layer wasn't for me. I can't wait to come back for the full dine-in tea experience and to try even more cake flavors!

Update: I went back for an Oreo cream pastry and I definitely enjoy the "slightly sweet" concept. Just wish the outside had a little firmer texture since both the inside and outside tasted the same. read more

This cafe is so pretty! I ordered an oreo cream pastry, and it was really dense and not too sweet which I loved. There were some savory pastries. cute cakes, appetizers, and drinks too. Best Chinese food in Madison!! The crab Rangoon is fantastic. It's not greasy and very tasty. The suites are very beautiful and handmade and just as advertise not very not too sweet. All in all a great taste experience. read more

We had an amazing night in downtown Madison this week. Little Sweet was a HUGE part of that experience. I highly recommend this place not only for their delicious drinks, but also their entrees that were equally delicious and very generous proportions. Here's what we ordered: Calamari $8.00 Cha Shao Pork $13.99 Shrimp Alfredo Pasta $13.00 Rose Milk Tea $5.50 Taro Milk Tea $5.50 Everything was excellent. The employees were super-friendly and attentive. The restaurant was bright, and spotless. We couldn't order dessert because the portions were so large. So we stopped by after our event and picked up a cake as carryout. This restaurant truly cares about their customers and we cannot wait to return. read more

The freshly brewed pot of house green tea was so fragrant and paired really well with the mango taro cake slice and strawberry mochi which we ordered. The design and vibe of this place is modern minimalist. Right as we got to the counter we got greeted by a nice lady who gave a short explanation on the whole menu. They were very nice and patient while my family and I were figuring out what to order. After we ordered, we sat down at a bar by the window. Our food got served to us quickly and it was delicious. After we ate and started to leave, the lady behind the counter said "Have a good night." Very nice place, very nice staff, and very good food. I would highly recommend. read more

My wife and I were looking for dessert on date night and found Little Sweet on Yelp. We walked in on a Saturday night and the service was lovely and the cakes were beautiful. We opted to dine in and ordered a Strawberry cake. I read comments about the baked good not being overly sweet and it was spot on. FWIW, I'm usually like my sweets, very sweet. With that said, the strawberry cake was perfect in many ways. Even though we only ordered dessert, we'll be back to try some of the savory items along with some of their teas. It was a perfect way to end date night. We highly recommend Little Sweet. read more

I LOVE, LOVE, this little cafe. Just opened, on State Street, going up toward the Capitol. You have to look out for it, you might miss it. But don't! Wonderful food, immaculate, quaint atmosphere and incredible cakes!!! Yum, Yum and Yum!!! Don't miss trying one of their flavorful teas. One pot easily serves 3-4 people and you get one refill so you can try another flavor. Lovely, friendly staff, too!!! read more

I had the strawberry fruit tea, and it was very good. The people working were very friendly and even brought the drinks to my table. I ordered the popcorn chicken too, and it's very good. I will add that I wish there was a little bit more seasoning and some basil! The place looks clean and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back. read more

I started walking inside the narrow corridor. I looked at the decorations on the wall. It seems like the decor and images inside the frames moving around with prying eyes. Finally, a place to sit. A buzzing sound alerted me, ah the breakfast meals are ready. I walked back to the order counter. I was confused, I have to get my own order from a small window and serve myself. Jinkies! Mystery has been solved. That's why the restaurant is named 'Lazy Janes', there is no customer service. It's the patron's job to get the food and clean up. Does this eating experience deserve a tip?
