An inflamed muscle. I pulled something or pushed something wrong during a training run. And now after seeing Rena Bissessar and the people at Vissers Physical Therapy, I feel much better. Expertise, efficiency, humanity -- Vissers is the dream package for PT. Currently, I'm progressing through the care plan, doing the stretches at home, and having a few followups ... but then only for what is necessary. And that's incredible -- past experiences with PT have always been a bit more hit-or-miss and my own comprehension of what needed to be done to get better. And a lot of PT places felt like they weren't really looking to help, they were looking to bill my insurance. Not so with Vissers! What she needed was someone who could help her with the therapy she'd been expecting to do for her new knee, but who would also show her the patience and care she needed as she recovered from the unknowns following the second surgery at the same time. This could have been a real challenge, but the folks at Vissers have been invariably kind and caring. It's been a journey, to say the least -- and having good people beside you at every step is essential. This is what we got at Vissers. Everyone we've interacted with at Vissers has been lovely, but particular praise is due to my mom's individual therapist Rena Bissessar, who has pushed her when she needed pushing, been understanding with her when she needed understanding, and gotten her a long way in an astonishingly short time toward being back on her feet again. Dr. Smith is a pain management doctor. From the minute I scooter-ed into the office I felt welcomed. The office is in the converted house right off Orange Ave. The office was easy to find. Hours are great. I got an appointment within two days of calling the office. Dr. Smith is a very personal doctor who listened to all on my concerns and took great care in handling them. The staff is extremely polite and caring. I have been here 3 times now and have had excellent service each of the times. My last occasion was to have shots in my spine for the pain syndrome I have. I was taken in at my scheduled appointment time and everything was explained to me step by step. I liked that. I was in and out with 35 minutes. I of course have a long way to go with my problem but feel well taken care of by Dr. Smith and his wonderful caring staff.

His treatment brought relief for me due to chronic stress to my back and neck and hips. His rehab and pre-hab related to my husband's shoulder surgeries shortened post-op recovery and led to optimal results that surprised the surgeon himself. Pancho who did my initial consultation did an excellent job explaining to me my injury in detail and showing me how physical therapy should benefit my recovery from the injury. He did a far better job at helping me understand what was going on with my back than my orthopedic doctor! His enthusiasm and expertise made me feel much better about my recovery and pain management. After my initial consultation visit I would usually work with Andres. He gave me some exercises and stretches to do at home and also provided me with books to read regarding core strengthening while I was on the traction table. He was also very understanding and patient with me during the therapy process. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a physical therapist. They are all very friendly and caring and the office staff was very flexible and understanding with the scheduling.

Overall, they this center does NOT care about the client. They allow therapists with kids that are abusive, parents have asked for specific therapists NOT to be with their child and the CD shrugs it off because they are short staffed. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD. Look elsewhere for ABA therapy, even another location, just not Clermont.

I finished my 12 weeks of physical therapy for my total knee replacement back in December. My…read morerange of motion is in the excellent range; but, my strength is still not up to par. My DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) provided me a lengthy print out of all my exercises, so I can start doing them at home, building up to 3 times a week. I only wish the gyms were open, so I could use some of the leg machines that I really need. Any complaints I may have had were just "nits" and don't bear mentioning. The staff here is caring and professional; they only want the best outcomes for their patients. Some may approach that differently than others; but, you find the therapist you work best with. Great group.
