Little victories lives up to the hype! I loved the care they put into their drinks and they tasted great as well.

Great coffee in a very cool environment with amazing service in either French, English, or Frenglich! 100% recommended!!!

This coffee shop is big, brightly lit, and was pretty busy when I visited. Almost all of the indoor and outdoor seating was filled, and there was a long line to order. It was pretty crowded and it was unclear where the line started and ended, and who was just waiting for their drinks. I eventually ordered the aussie cap, and my drink came out after a short wait. The aussie cap is a regular cappuccino with a dusting of chocolate on top. This was one of the better coffees from my visit to Ottawa.

We stopped by this cafe for coffee, tea and desserts and had a really pleasant experience. THE DRINKS The Coffee: - My fiancé said the coffee was really good and strong. He enjoys strong coffee and this location delivered. The Matcha Latte - The matcha latte was really good. They blended it with macadamia nut milk and it had the perfect balance of matcha with some sweetness. This was definitely a good pick me up. THE DESSERTS - This bakery had four desserts which were all gluten and dairy free. We purchased three of them and they were the best cookies I have ever had. Raspberry Jam Thumbprint Cookie - The Raspberry jam cookie had a delicious chia seed jam in the centre that wasn't too sweet. It had the right amount of sweetness to make this cookie scrumptious. It actually reminded me of a cookie my grandma used to make for us. It was so delicious. Banana Hazelnut Chocolate Breakfast Cookie - This cookie was my least favourite of the three. I found it a bit dry, with chocolate chunks throughout. I actually wish we ate this one first so we could savour the other two. Pistachio Almond Cookie - This was the best gluten and dairy free cookie I have ever had in Canada. It was the perfect balance of sweet and satisfying while providing a delicious pistachio almond flavour. I actually wanted to go back to bring some home to Toronto to put in the freezer. Would We Return? Absolutely! The cookies were better than all the gluten and dairy free cookies I have had in Toronto.

Nice coffee shop with nice natural lighting and good coffee. They even bring your coffee to your table unlike most coffee places. It would be a nice touch if they had a self serve water station though.

The Elgin location is located in the core of Ottawa, across from Parliament Hill and very convenient if you want to take a break from walking around, or if you're in the area, and need a place to do some work, or meet with people. There's plenty of seating inside and outside, and the overall vibe is great, with an airy feel. It's a place I wouldn't mind spending hours at. The staff was friendly, and if you want to "dine in" they will bring you your order to your seat when it's ready. I'm not a coffee drinker, but one unique thing they offer at Little Victories are coffee tasting flights, which I think would be great for coffee fans. The flight allows you to taste three different beans prepared in three different ways. However, this place may be more known for their coffees than teas, because what's preventing me from giving this place 5 stars is the taste of their tea lattes. The latte art here is pretty nice, but the tea lattes didn't meet my expectations. I came here twice. The first time I got a mtacha latte, which was creamy but the matcha taste was very light. The drink tasted closer to frothed milk. The second time I tried a chai latte, and this time I found that spices used to make the latte was very overwhelming (this may be an Ottawa thing, because I noticed the same thing with the chai latte at another place) .

Service was quick even with never-ending line. This place gets kind of busy esp on weekends. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Coffee was good, ask for milk options if your diet requires. Tried the orange cookie just for the sake of trying, not bad at all. Food pics shared. Friendly baristas. Can't recall if there's street parking but this is walking distance from the Parliament buildings.

What a gorgeous, calm spot in downtown Ottawa for amazing coffee. Get a millionaire tahini bar if they're still serving them for a rich treat. Can get busy in the morning with people stopping on their way into work, or seeing the sites on a weekend morning. There's a tasting bar for 2 for real connoisseurs too.

Very popular coffee spot in Ottawa featuring carefully constructed coffee beverages. Beautiful store front - recently renovated. Espresso, filter, and single origin pour overs. Variety of seasonal options. Limited food - mostly small baked goods (cookies & squares). Staff is friendly and helpful when selecting a specific coffee option. They explain the process and what might be interesting for you. Interesting point for me on the menu: the Flight. Approx $10 gets you three different types of coffee to try. Enjoy!

I can still feel the formed butt divot of those before me, but at least they are ok to sit on for more than 2 minutes. A dry cappuccino came out very wet, as in way too much dairy; so disappointing, as we we pay a lot for the joy of a good coffee these days, but seldom get them. (...And this is why we rarely go out for coffee anymore. What we make at home is more reliably consistant and good.) A general observation, not specific to Bridgehead: corporations are, in my opinion, ruining the once lovely experience of going out for a delicious coffee

We dropped by to check out this Frankenstein of a creation we saw online. It was an espresso in a donut. Yup you read that right! Space is a little smaller than the old location but they now sell vinyl and books. The barista is a awesome. Super friendly and makes good coffee. There's a lot of different drinks you can get, the food menu looks a little limited at the moment but they're working on it. They're also working on a liquor license as well. Here's a pic of the donut coffee. The donut is really dense at the bottom but light on the top. There's also some Nutella or similar spread inside the donut. I'd say, I might get this again as they're willing to put any drink inside. I found the dense part of the donut heavy, so donut tops only for me! Hopefully they expand the food options, will be back though.

My barista was kindly chatting with me which I highly enjoyed. Great vibe, relaxed, nice place to work or relax. There's indoor seating and an outdoor patio that reuses crates for seating. Another brilliant idea. Plenty of street parking, kindness and positivity. Thanks for a lovely experience

I thanked him and advised him that I was actually looking for food now and was about to leave, but then he said it was ok that he could make my food now. How nice is that, eh? I ordered 2 half chicken dinners. So the price was $13.55 each and I was prepared to pay this, but it turns out they were having a buy one get one free offer, which wasn't advertised anywhere, but hey, I took it. Awesome! So you get to chose your sauce for the chicken. I got Original, which is spicy, and I got my husband the Medium Sweet, since he likes less spicy than I do. The chicken came on a bed of rice with vegetables. The wait was about 35-40 minutes. The food smelled so good on the car ride home, lol. The Original sauce is somewhat sour, but the spices in it give it a more unique taste. The Medium Sweet sauce was, well, sweet, which I prefer over sour, but it was less unique, as I feel like I've had similar sauces before. I did like the spiciness of my sauce though. It packed a nice punch. The flavour profile of the Original was unlike any sauce that I have tasted before, and I love trying new things, so I liked it for that. I would love the spiciness of the Original, but the sweetness of the Medium Sweet. The chicken was tender and juicy. The rice was just ok IMO. It tasted a bit dry. It was rice with carrots, corn, peas and green beans. Seemed like a frozen vegetables mix. Service was very friendly and courteous. The restaurant is in the basement of a low-rise with other businesses in it. Betsi Chicken is inside D'Afrique Restaurant and Bar. I suspect they have the same owner, just different branding since it's different food (Betsi Chicken serves African grilled chicken, while D'Afrique Restaurant serves traditional Ethiopian food, like curries with injera). Street parking only.
