Had an amazing experience at Little Vinnie's West Side Tattoo. The shop was super clean, and the entire staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. I saw LC for some bat tattoos, and he also touched up an older piece that needed a little extra love. LC is beyond talented, super chill, extremely skilled, and somehow has the lightest hand ever. Honestly, it barely felt like I was getting tattooed. The work came out beautifully, and the whole experience was comfortable from start to finish. Unfortunately had to lower my rating. Little Vinnie's appears to be a place where they assume everyone heals and reacts the same to piercings. That's not the case. I've had two piercings done here, both of which didn't turn out the best. The first one, I cleaned as instructed, year went by and for some reason, still wasn't completely healed. I go back and I'm told "oh, maybe this piercing just doesn't work for you" and have the piercing removed. Cool, waste of $50 and pain. Second piercing, I develop a bump on my nose. "Oh, it will go away. Just clean it more." So I clean it more than the 2x/day cleaning I've already been doing. Month goes by. Still hasn't gone away. I want to have it switched to gold jewelry but they don't sell gold. Instead of waiting for the "oh, maybe this piercing just doesn't work for you" I went to another shop that sold gold, had my jewelry switched and was told to STOP cleaning it so much. And voila, bump went away. Needless to say, I will not be coming back here for any more piercings. read more

I typically go to Little Vinnie's to get my tattoos where I have been pleased with the work of multiple artists. However, today after un bandaging my recent tattoo it was completely disappointing!! It was not the quality of Little Vinnie's I am familiar with. The artist was extremely pleasant however the work was not to satisfactory. I spoke with the manager at the time and he suggested them to attempt to fix the problem. However, the line work was not good at all to even allow them to mess up my skin anymore. I paid 250 dollars and was told there were no other options. I will never refer any one to this place. David Wah at Stay Humble tattoo is a beast and very good and detailed with his work I should of just waited for his slot to open. The tattoo done by I believe Charlie. The line work is not good at all multiple overlaps, idk why he made my lines thick because that was not the print out. Not PLEASED at all!!!! read more

My absolute favorite tattoo spot in the Baltimore area. This place is great! The service and quality of work are second to none. While the language is AGGRESSIVE (which is very common in tattoo parlors) I have never had an issue. They don't tolerate nonsense, drunkenness, racism or just dumb stuff. I like this location FAR better than the Finksburg location. Rachel is my artist of choice, but I have been tattooed by other artists and would not avoid them. I have been tattooed by Rachel multiple times. She is professional, fair prices and offers her expertise willingly. I never felt like she tried to over charge or talk me into getter a larger tattoo. read more

I've been to Little Vinnies enough to say they do amazing work! Not only do they provide art inspiration or sketches to please everyone inside the business, they also do very well with making magic with the art work brought into the parlor. I'm a germ-a-phobe and although someone might say a tattoo studio is the last place I should be, I am always impressed with their cleanliness and sterilization process. All needles and tools were open in front of me and this made me extremely comfortable. In addition they are very quick and efficient! I definitely recommend them and love my Quill! read more

I have nothing but praise for everything and everyone in this shop. From day one when I happened to stop by (just due to the fact of ease on my way home from work) I felt like I had already known these guys for years. I had decided to start with a lotus (due to the meaning behind it having a constant battle with alcohol I wanted something visible to myself and others with out adding NA or AA symbols). I had spoke with LC about what I had kinda planned in my head, set an appointment up, and it began. Now I have other Tat's however it has been 10 years in between for myself. Appointment day could not have gone any smoother. ( I hate needles, as with most people) but my mind stayed at ease throughout the session. All I did was add the color/s I had wanted and let LC do the rest. The lotus came first (see the pics) We had then set up the next appointment to add the Koi. (again selected for its meaning) The next appointment went as smooth if not smoother than the 1st. Again the comfort level was top notch. However there is zero compromise on professionalism as well. Having completed another 2 1/2- 3hr session (which time did fly by) Pleased with the outcome and again I gave color choices and let LC do the rest. I had already had a ton of compliments on the Koi esp. the color. Stopped by to set up my 3rd session to finish out the half sleeve. LC was in the middle of another session however took the time to hear out my ideas, and colors wanted, and set up my 3rd session. 3rd session just flew by (a solid 3 hours) and half sleeve is now completed. The conversation with LC blew my mind. (now I'm 35 have lived east to west coast and grew up in the Mitten (America's High Five state) We always had something new to talk about. (This includes one of his regulars that stopped in on my 3rd session and just needed someone to talk to. He and his girl had gone through the unfortunate horrible life event of a miscarriage. Having gone though the same event not ever meeting this guy both me and LC both had insight to his regular. Now if this didn't make you feel like this place was part of a small family I don't know what else will. I really hope the insight we both gave will help this young man and his "girl" get though this horrible event) I will be back I have a poor decision on my other forearm I would like to get covered up. The tattooing is a bonus,(the work, line work etc is awesome) the life conversions are irreplaceable and I feel like I have a new family I've never met but were here in Baltimore all along. The vibe goes without saying it very chill, and laid back with zero lack of professionalism. I ran out of LC's business cards from all the people that have asked where I got this done. While I was getting my tattoo the artist engaged in conversation and did my tattoo gently. He was careful to explain all the aftercare steps. My friend and I went to Little Vinnie's Westside yesterday to get matching tattoos. We walked in, and immediately knew this was going to be a great experience. The place is organized and clean, with flash art covering the walls. Everyone was so friendly and made sure we were completely satisfied before beginning. These were not our first tattoos, so we have prior experiences to compare to. Pricing was excellent and about what we expected. We both had separate artists. My artist was Nick, and Chico was my friend's artist. Nick was calm, and very sweet. He made sure everything was ready and I was satisfied with placement etc before beginning. During my tattoo he was talkative, but knew when to be quiet (during the most painful parts of the tattoo). He was gentle and got the work done quickly. It was flawless. My friend's tattoo artist Chico, was just finishing up as I walked in to see how it was going. My friend wouldn't shut up about what a wonderful job he did. Chico was also very gentle and my friend said she felt almost no pain at all. My friend has roughly 15 tattoos (I now have 4) so her excitement for this place was genuine and backed by over a decade of experience. I seriously will never go to any other tattoo parlor. I highly recommend Little Vinnie's or Little Vinnie's Westside for any tattoo or piercing. BEST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. We can not be more happy with our tattoos, Thank you Nick and Chico! read more

My experience at Little Vinnie's was overall not very positive. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the artist and couldn't find him on the website that did my tattoo, but he was awesome and had great customer service skills. He was fast and very easy to work with. As for the others there, the customer service was horrible. I was barely greeted as I walked into the parlor and felt very un-welcomed the entire time. I even tried saying hello to one of the artists and he completely ignored me after making eye contact and walking away. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else if you can unless poor customer service doesn't bother you. read more

Love this shop! You want the best tattoo or piercing for a great price, from wicked talent artists....then this is the place for you. My daughter and I ended up there because I have always gone to Vinnies back when they were on Main Street in Westminster. Let's just say after 10 mins in the new Finksburg location and I couldn't take the attitude and rudeness any longer. We went down to West side and so glad we did. Sure it is a much longer drive for us but EVERYONE there is incredibly nice and they care about the work that they do. The shop is clean and we just wouldn't go anywhere else. Everyone there is just so nice. My daughter got her belly piercing done there. Nick did my daughters first tattoo and it rocks! Little Chico has done a Mother & daughter tattoo for us and my daughter's third Tattoo. He is just a great down to earth guy who does great work. So happy with every service we have had there!
