$17 shot of Casamigos tequila?! Um, Little Woodrow's in Beaumont, TX isn't the Sky Lounge in Las Vegas, NV. I ordered a pizza and the bartender exclaimed, 'MONEY..." as she flipped her hand out and rolled her eyes. I asked how much the pizza cost..the first answer was $40. The second answer was $45. After prodding she landed at $25..the price of the pizza. The bartenders were rude and one even made a racist comment about black people. Yeah, screw this place!! I kinda wonder if they were charging me more for my shots because I was dressed nice...which the bartender made a rude comment about. Smh. read more

Great experience overall. The atmosphere was solid, drinks were well made, and service was fast even during a busy time. The staff was friendly and attentive, and everything ran smoothly. I'm usually not a fan of the Little Woodrow's in ATX or Houston, but I was pleasantly surprised with this new Beaumont location and happy SETX has a new bar option. The space is indoor/outdoor mix. The patio is huge and has tons of seating (swings!). I appreciate the thought put into the patio with the fun design and organization. There are yard games, ping pong and beer pong. I didn't see table service at the tables, but I did see a few bartenders standing around, so maybe they do wait on tables? I just ordered at the bar. The inside also has full seating as well. Bathrooms are clean. Service was good and fast. We were there on Thanksgiving night, so it wasn't packed, but there was a good crowd. They have 32 beers on tap and a majority are craft beers. However, we had two IPAs (Lagunitas and St. Arnold's) and both were stale... So they're obvs not moving IPAs quickly in Bmt. One bartender made a great bloody Mary... My mom approved! I'm happy this place decided to open in Bmt. With Luke's closed, this is really the only other beer bar in town with a good patio. And they have better service than Luke's. read more

Little Woodrow's is a great addition to The Golden Triangle bar scene. I was in town July 4th weekend and saw that it recently opened in the area, so I decided to check it out. To my surprise, this location was better than all the ones I frequent in Houston. The indoor bar is nicely sized, but the massive outdoor patio is the main attraction. Most of the seating is covered, but there's an uncovered section in the very back. There are plenty of TV screens and all sorts of activities (cornhole, beer pong, ping pong, Jenga, Connect Four, etc). The giant swing set brings everything together nicely. Zeke's Cajun Kitchen stole the show completely. The chicken wings blew me AWAY. Juicy, savory and reasonably priced. I'll be back just to eat at that food truck. Overall, I had a great time during my first visit. The service was fast and friendly and I loved the entire aesthetic. 10/10 would recommend. read more

The place is really nice. Lots of seating area. I was just confused. I saw a lot of employees and I wasn't sure if they were waitresses? Nobody came over unless to ask for our empty glasses. The bartender inside, was really nice and friendly. I apologize for not getting your name. She was petite with a big smile. Very welcoming. The only food they have is pizza and pretzels. The wait staff wasn't very friendly either. I sat at the bar for 20 minutes before I had to flag the bartender down. Maybe if she wasn't flirting with one customer, she may have noticed others sitting waiting for a drink. And she didn't even know what was on tap locally. I watched two women come in, sit at the bar, un-acknowledged, so they moved over to the other bar on the other side and get served. I won't be going back there again. read more

Took my sister in law from Dallas here and it was my husband and I's first time here ...it wasn't busy at all and it was almost impossible to get a bartenders attention and when we did they had a sour attitude, MORE THAN ONCE! We had a great time this past weekend! Keep in mind this place has only been open a couple weeks, and it was PACKED- we saw servers and bussers and management everywhere, which we really appreciate! Comparing to other spots in town, this place is massive and able to accommodate a big crowd, and so far I feel it's ran really well! We were able to get drinks really fast and find a nice table to hang out at. Everything was clean and someone came to clear out glasses and wipe the table down every so often! Also since it's mostly all outdoor seating the big steel ceiling fans really help move air around so you're not sweating all night. Great selection of craft beers and liquor. Really nice to have a change of scenery in Beaumont. The night tend to get crowded at times so I enjoy going during the day. It's not that crowded so you can move around freely. I love that everyone bring their dogs and that they bring food trucks from Houston down. Don't miss out on their karaoke bar either. It's small though and can fit comfortably 8-10 people. read more

Finally got around to writing a comment about this place. Let me start by saying that I teacher high school chemistry in a school that is a few blocks away from this place - SO CONVENIENT! My husband & I would meet a few friends here after work to "blow some steam"! Many times my husband would bring my chi-pug, Caesar. So great that they allow dogs. My poor Caesar stays @ the house all day during the week so I like to take him out as soon as I can. So LW is perfect! I'm house they make pizzas & they have a good truck in the patio with quesadillas, fajitas & other things. We had had all of them. Very tasty. The meat in the fajitas is a bit tough @ times, but for the price - I'm not expecting rib-eye!!! Only complaint was a situation about a year ago. Place was packed!!! We ordered 2 pizzas, 2 quesadillas & a mixed fajita platter. We got our food & are a bit. We decided to slow down & go play a few games. We asked 2 waitresses and they both said to put our coasters on top of our drinks and no one would pick up our food/drinks. We felt confident so we did as we were told. After 3 quick games of washers, we returned to our table to find - NOTHING! I was upset. We left A LOT of food in that table. Not to mention a refill of beers, that were brought to us early - we were only 1/2 way into our current beer. I asked to talk to the manager. Seems no one knows who the manager is @ LW b/c one waitress kept spinning me off to bouncer & then back to another waitress - they made my wait a good 27mins to talk to the manager about the situation. Finally, the manager appeared, nice gentleman, very apologetic. We asked what the protocol is for leaving your table. He said that we had done what we needed to do, but that the waitress that picked up our stuff was not paying attention. Fortunately he was able to bring more pizzas for our friends... unfortunately no fajitas & quesadillas for my hubby & I. In conclusion, great place... just don't leave your food on the table, even if you tell the waitress. read more

Let's just say tonight I should of just went to the strip club if I wanted to get Fckd because the "bartender" let someone else charge $150 to my friends card. Plus the vibe wasn't all there, save your time and go to one of the other 3 bars in bmt, honestly pretty bummed they did this because my friend is African American and they did him like this, plus the sign outside is missing some letters, hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. This is my go-to bar. I love how there's lots of places to sit inside and outside so that I don't feel too claustrophobic. It's a great place to hang out with friends or go on dates. It holds a special place in my heart since my boyfriend went here along with a couple of other places for our first date. We loved sitting on the swings outside. They also have fire pits and food trucks. Their pretzels and the sauce that comes with it are really yummy! The drinks are pretty good as well. I usually get the Frozen Woody, which is a frozen orange drink. There are lots of TV's with sports games playing there if that's your thing. The only con to this place is that the music can get kind of loud even though it's not really a place for dancing. I highly recommend this place for dates and get-togethers though. read more

This place has its ups and downs, and it's a really new business, so I will come back and revise this review as this restaurant finds its equilibrium. There used to be food trucks- no longer. The crowd has gotten out of hand at times with the few altercations in the parking lot that's not very well lit at night. I am a Houston native. I am in Beaumont for school and I ordered a Jameson & Ginger ale with a lime. I worked in the server industry at Pappadeaux so I understand how it works. When I received my drink I noticed it tasted watered down but I brushed it off as it was the lime juice. The next time that I ordered it, the bartender told me that they did not have ginger ale and that they only had sprite and that is probably what they gave me. I talked to the manager about this and he told me that I drunk the drink and that there is nothing that they could do....... I understand this but your bartender lied and the drinks are very slight in difference...... EXACTLY... Slight so not realizing that it is the right drink is possible and this was also their point. However, I am more upset that I was pretty much lied to and I never had this happen at any location but here. That was the worst customer service that I've been to. I've been to three Houston locations and they were all great. Yet, Beaumont, not so much. read more

We went and the manager was very rude and actually confrontational to the point of almost fighting which is surprising because of all people you would think he would be the most accomodating. He definately hasn't worked in a customer service environment and has an attitude from hell--non-professionally I'll call it "little man syndrome" . Our waitress was amazing, created a fun atmosphere but he single handedly ruined the experience for us.... Swings don't make up for a sour environment. This place has a lot of potential! As far as ambiance and scenery it definitely gets 5 stars. I do like that they support local business by having food trucks come there and serve. Soo my negative aspects the drinks were watered down. They weren't to pricey but I would at least like to feel something. After 3 drinks I still had no type of buzz. Next on the music, they played country and rock the entire night! I personally don't have a problem with that type of music but I would like a little variety. Finally the service sucked for us. I did see other waitress that were being attentive and doing a good job but ours sucked. She never once came and check on us until it was time to pay the bill. Also people in our party had to go to the bar to order drinks and we were sitting on the inside and if you've been there you know it's pretty much empty in there.
