The food is amazing but yesterday, on 3/11/2026 at @ 3:15 I called in an order, when I got there the lady was rude because I told her I waited over 5 minutes for her to give me my food, I asked were the fries getting soggy due to them closing the lid on the hot food, she said when did you order it... It wasn't what she said, but the sarcastic way that she said it. So today on 3/12/2026 at around 6:36pm I tried to call in an order for my kids and was told I couldn't make a call in order o had to come in to order. When I arrived I asked for a manager, and again, another rude female was the manager, I asked her why I couldn't make a call in order and was told because I didn't pay for the food yesterday, I WAS SO CONFUSED, I asked her why would I pay for some food I didn't get. Then I ordered and advised her that I would no longer come there after today, after paying with my card she proceeds to keeping sticking a pen and paper in my face, due to being irritated with the situation I told her I didn't want to sign, she threatened to cancel my kids order and I grabbed the pen and paper and signed, things escalated from there. I would have NEVER expected that type of behavior from this particular establishment and I spend a lot of money here, but I will NEVER spend anymore money here read more

The lady who owns the place is super stingy, I can tell. Our lane was glitching and we got moved twice to a different lane before our scoreboard started working. And that lady didn't give us a refund!! By the time we got moved to a lane that worked, we had 20 minutes left out of an hour. The machines were super slow and we had to reset multiple times. This place has been here forever and is now managed by new owners. It has been remodeled and a bar/cafe dining area has been added with TVs! There are sooo many delicious food options for everyone. When you think of a bowling alley's menu, what comes to mind? Maybe you think of hot dogs, cheese nachos, pizza-by-the-slice or Frito pie? Well, what about salt & pepper calamari, stuffed boudin balls, fried fish and shrimp, gumbo, S&P wings, crawfish (seasonal), grilled chicken or shrimp salads, specialty loaded fries, fish or shrimp po'boys, grilled or fried pork chops, whole pizzas, smoothies, iced coffee, and so, so much more. This place takes bowling alley food to a whole new level. I'm giving you just a sample of what you get when you dine at Star Bowling Bar and Grill located at 4180 Pinkston Dr, behind Home Depot in North Beaumont. You do not have to bowl to eat there. This place is family-owned. They also own the Kickin-Chicken on MLK, the same recipe, the same good food. They have operated this business for about two years and are continuously upgrading the inside. The eating area is clean and they have three flatscreen TVs to watch while you eat. Melyssa Tr and the staff are friendly and accommodating. They even helped me with deciding what to order since everything on the menu looked great. The presentation had us salivating. Grandson and I ordered the stuffed boudin ball (stuffed with pepper jack cheese), a real cajun crowd pleaser. A pocket of melting cheese in each satisfying bite. Next, "Galactic" fries, that are topped with garlic lemon butter shrimp, bacon, green onions, house-made ranch dressing, and a dash of hot sauce. Each bite provided a forkful of comfort and flavor. The creamy sauce clinging to each hot and crispy fry. I also ordered the already, well-known, S&P wings and Buffalo hot wings. The dusting of the salt and pepper, along with the bathing of the zesty buffalo hot sauce made these wings sing. I'm a big fan of wings and these did not disappoint. These are made moments before serving, hot and delicious. Grandson also ordered a double cheeseburger with fries. This is one of the best places for comfort food and at reasonable prices. I almost forgot about the sweet tea, which comes highly recommended by me. Also, all of their specialty fries can be upgraded to tater tots if customers choose too. Friday and Saturdays the kitchen doesn't close until 2am and call-in orders are always welcomed. Check out their smoothies and adult drinks also. They are on FB and I have included their menu and additional photos from their page. Star Bowling Bar and Grill bowled a STRIKE with me on the first visit. As one man commented at the counter as he was ordering, "This is NOT the typical bowling ally menu." I said, "Brother, I totally agree."This place has gained a Best Bites Approved stamp. Let's start with the bowling they have the best specials ever. 10.00 unlimited bowling great date night idea. But what's the star of this place is the food. OMG! When I say the food blew me away I lost every game cause I was eating something that tasted amazing. This wasn't bowling alley food this was restaurant quality food. Food is amazing! Definitely get the salt and pepper wings and fries. It's rare to get great food at a bowling alley.

Had my sons 2nd birthday party here and this place did not disappoint. Newly renovated. Party rates were cheaper than all other bowling alleys. Friendly staff. Amazing food and adult beverages. Would definitely be back! read more
