Had a wildlife person come the next day for free and told me he did not think I had a flying squirrel problem. He also closed a gap in our attic window that Olander said I had but didn't do anything about. Also had a pest guy come out that same morning and he also didn't charge me. Both of the people who came out the following morning who did not charge me were more helpful then Olander.

He charged $150 for an inspection which involved listening to my description of the problem and locating excrement in the rafters and paw prints in the basement. I had read the previous Yelp review and when he determined the problem was flying squirrels I was skeptical. Does this guy tell everyone they have flying squirrels? I had never heard of this problem before. I asked reasonable questions, trying to learn more about flying squirrels and the rational for his diagnosis, but he was hostile and condescending in response. He quoted $2500 to perform and exclusion (locate the entrances of the squirrels and tactically cover them with one way doors so the critters can leave, but not return). After he left, I was so insulted by his demeanor that I thought he was a scam. There was no way we would spend that kind of money with someone we couldn't trust. I went on Amazon and bought a infrared sensing hunting camera by Bushnell and set it up in the rafters with a spoonful of peanut butter in front of it. The next morning I had (poor quality) pictures of none other than a flying squirrel. We will try to perform an exclusion ourselves, by buying some one way doors, and perhaps some more tactical cameras to locate the entrances. Ultimately, I'm hoping we won't need to call Tom Olander again, but he was correct in his diagnosis of the problem.

They came up to deal with these teeny tiny ants, they lived in my front and back yard. Since i have…read more2 dogs, I was concerned mostly over the treatment to kill all these ant mounds. I was very happy to learn that I do not have a worry in the world, my animals will be safe, just keep them in for an hour or so while the chemical dries. We have had a raccoon in our attic for over two weeks now. B + E put traps out, but the raccoon has…read moreonly been stealing bait from the traps and managing to get away still. One terrifying day in the morning, the raccoon fell out of the attic and into our broom closet on our second floor. We barricaded the door and called to have B & E come but he was unable to come at all that day and had managed to climb back out into the attic again by the next day! The following day B & E showed up and placed another trap but the raccoon is still there, making loads of noise and not getting trapped. We don't feel the traps are working at all and have decided to go with another company who can do a one-way door. We've lost a lot of sleep to this raccoon. I just think they're too clever to just walk into a trap. We wish the trap had worked but unfortunately it just didn't. Maybe B & E is great at other things but it didn't manage to fix our coon problem. :(

Thought it was an extrememly steep amount for not knowing the problem. I reached out to owner and he never responded to me. I found it very unprofessional. Many companies will wave the inspection fee. Especially if he could not provide answers.
