We've been using Acton Pest Control for a couple of years now, and have been incredibly happy with every interaction. Chris and Andrea are always prompt to respond to our calls and any questions, and are clear with any info or instructions we might need (like how long to leave the house for when they spray). We've had them out to help with ants, mice, yellow jackets, and wasps and have seen a massive difference. Chris was also kind enough to show us what steps we could do to help us seal parts of the house to prevent things from entering. He's crazy knowledgable about every little creature! We love that they're a local company that we can recognize the faces of. And, they stand by their work -- we had a massive yellow jacket nest in our soffit removed, and three weeks later they were back (or so we thought). We called and Andrea found time to get Chris to come over quickly, only to find out it was actually some new black wasps that moved in to a nearby spot which Chris quickly took care of. I emailed TDHP on a Friday late afternoon and received a call from Kyle within a couple of hours. He came and set up his trap capturing what we thought was the lone skunk. We soon realized there was also a litter of 5 kits. Kyle was back and forth for another 3 days with great success. We have had a raccoon in our attic for over two weeks now. B + E put traps out, but the raccoon has…read moreonly been stealing bait from the traps and managing to get away still. One terrifying day in the morning, the raccoon fell out of the attic and into our broom closet on our second floor. We barricaded the door and called to have B & E come but he was unable to come at all that day and had managed to climb back out into the attic again by the next day! The following day B & E showed up and placed another trap but the raccoon is still there, making loads of noise and not getting trapped. We don't feel the traps are working at all and have decided to go with another company who can do a one-way door. We've lost a lot of sleep to this raccoon. I just think they're too clever to just walk into a trap. We wish the trap had worked but unfortunately it just didn't. Maybe B & E is great at other things but it didn't manage to fix our coon problem. :(

I called around for someone to take care of the poison ivy all around my yard and got a few people…read moreto come out and look. 2 different landscape companies looked around and pointed at some ivy and said they could treat it. When Lee came out he was a lot more thorough, he pointed out lots of places the other guys missed (maybe they would have gotten it had they actually come out but they didn't say anything about it to me) including two very dangerous growths I wasn't even aware of. He schedule me in a few weeks and did a great job and returned a bit later to get anything he missed. Late in the year I found another whole patch I had missed that I don't think he realized was part of my yard. He came out the next day to treat it. Absolutely great service. I hope never to have to call him again but if I have any more ivy I won't even bother to look around, he's my first choice.
