After we triple checked the url and made sure we typed the right thing, it still didn't work. But again, she didn't seem to have any passion to help us! There is some problem most times I'm there - today's issue was being stopped at the entrance and told "no drinks permitted inside." Busy weekend day. They pointed to a couple of small tables near the entrance to leave the food or drink. Those tables were not being watched, and in a very public space, I wasn't comfortable but ok - annoying but I get it. Someone from our party hung around the area to keep an eye. Then I realize other people and groups are fine to come in with drinks and shop. It's a stupid policy but at least apply it uniformly. I had to say something to the employees as I left since I was so annoyed, , to which they of course acted like I'm the problem and they didn't know what I was talking about. Can't do the attitudes or the dumb policies. I'm now a former customer.

When I arrived, there was no employee physically present inside the store to assist me. The only way to get assistance was by talking through a camera to the employee, who told me that he was out making a delivery himself. He tried to give me instructions remotely on which flowers I needed to pick up, but he didn't even seem to know what flowers were actually available inside the store. The flowers he was telling me to look for weren't there, which made the whole pickup process even more confusing and frustrating. If an employee had actually been present in the store, this situation could have been handled much more easily. I found this extremely unprofessional. Why is the store being left completely unattended while the employee makes deliveries? Why isn't there another employee available to assist customers and delivery drivers? After I finished picking up my order, a female DoorDash driver came in. I told her that the only way to get help was to speak to the employee through the camera. He began giving her instructions, and she told him, "I don't speak English, only Spanish." He responded with an attitude, "Well, that's no good." I was shocked by the way he spoke to her. Since she couldn't understand his instructions, I stayed and helped her complete the pickup process myself. What happened afterward disgusted me even more. After I finished helping her, the employee started ranting through the camera that she should learn to speak English and making comments about where she came from. There was absolutely no reason to speak about her that way. She was a delivery driver trying to do her job, and instead of showing patience or finding a way to communicate with her, he made degrading comments about her language ability and where she came from. What made the situation even worse was that he wasn't physically present. He was making these comments remotely through a camera, where his face wasn't visible. I hope management reviews the camera/intercom recording from 9/17 between approximately 6:10 and 6:45 PM and identifies the employee who was making deliveries during that time. This behavior needs to be addressed. People should not be humiliated or spoken about this way simply because they don't speak English. That lady should deserve the same basic dignity and respect as anyone else.
