This 2nd Street was clean and items were organized. It was like walking into your rich aunt's…read morecloset...you know the one who has no kids? Lol. The luxury bags were organized by color but some of the prices were a bit expensive. The red Chanel backpack was a good deal tho. Selection was good for bags, shoes and knits but I'm an outerwear person and didn't find anything. Would def return when I have more $$ to burn.

As a buyer, I love this place--so I figured I'd try selling here. Almost a huge mistake…read more The offers were honestly shocking. An Alo hoodie? $2. A vintage 100% silk Victoria's Secret top? $0.10--yes, ten cents. A rag & bone handbag? Also $0.10. When I asked for clarification, they said maybe the buyer didn't realize the brand... but even then, how does that justify ten cents? The only offer that felt remotely fair was $50 for my Balenciaga hoodie. Everything else? Basically nothing--$1 total for four additional items. They were also "authenticating" my vintage Dior bag, and at that point I just stopped the process. I wasn't about to risk them offering me such a low price for it. It genuinely felt absurd. I understand resale businesses need margin, but this felt extreme. It honestly made me feel bad for people who sell here--like you'd have to be in a really tough spot to accept those kinds of offers. What's more frustrating is that nothing in the store is priced anywhere near that low. As a buyer, I've spent real money here--I even bought a beautiful vintage D&G belt for $250. Now I can't help but wonder what they paid for it. This experience definitely changed how I see the store. I still think they have great pieces, but the selling side feels incredibly one-sided. Offering even 20-30% of resale value would feel a lot more reasonable. Their "coding" for buying, It's a huge scam. As much as i loved shopping here.. you are better off not selling. Don't give your items away unless you're truly okay with the price--don't make a decision out of desperation. (If you have that luxury)

The only reason I am writing this review is because Katie (blonde sales manager) single handedly…read moresaved my experience with this entire brand, as multiple other employees have ruined it. It's not worth explaining, but I had two horrendous experiences with their customer service. I came in for an exchange, in which an employee could not help with due to what she thought was store policy... I was walking out (fuming) when Katie stopped me, brought me back into the store, and helped me in 5 minutes. I was ready to be an ALO hater for the rest of my life until she went out of her way to make things right. The employees need better training on the products, they gave me false information and then contradicted themselves when I came back. I talked to many of my clients and colleagues about what happened, and they all had similar experiences with this location. For how much the products cost, the store needs more employees like Katie who are willing to go the extra mile to create solutions for you. I feel like they expect the customer to be an entitled rich person right off the bat, when everyone should be treated the same. I completely understand holding your ground and complying with policies, but it would be best if they knew the policies before enforcing them with cement. They may need managers to judge if an exchange is appropriate, and have more product knowledge. As I said to them in the store, I wish all the employees well and hope they don't take a customer's persistence personally. I will be so grateful for Katie's kindness and support for a long time. Otherwise I would be out $600 and this review would be 1 star.

One of the most uncomfortable retail experiences I've had. I returned a dress that didn't fit, and…read morethe employee repeatedly accused me of wearing it even after I explained I had not. I understand store policies, but the way she spoke to me felt extremely demeaning, dismissive, and unprofessional. I will not be shopping here anymore after this experience. The employee was a tall white woman with blonde hair and very bright pink blush, which made her easy to recognize. Her attitude and facial expressions came across very arrogant, judgmental, and discriminating, which made the situation even more embarrassing. It stopped feeling like a normal return and started feeling like I was being looked down on. I shop at Alo frequently and have spent a lot of money there over time, which made this experience even more disappointing. It wasn't even about the store credit at that point, it was about how poorly I was treated. Customer service should never make customers feel humiliated.

Working with Colton truly elevated the process. If you want to feel like a professional athlete on draft day, he's your guy. The level of customization--from fabric and lining to buttons and stitching--is top-notch. They take detailed measurements to get everything perfectly dialed in, and it shows. I couldn't be happier with the final result and won't consider going anywhere else for a suit.

Matt was incredibly accommodating and handled the process with professionalism and clear communication. He went above and beyond, and we're truly grateful for his outstanding customer service. Angelo was also fantastic, very thorough, knowledgeable, and clear in explaining all the options. We really enjoyed our conversation with him and could tell he genuinely cares about making sure everything is perfect. We are still scheduling the appointment for the wedding suit and all of the groomsmen, most of whom live out of state, but the team reassured us that it will not be an issue, which gave us a lot of confidence. We can't wait to go in for his wedding suit. We cannot say enough about the excellent service we received. Men's Grotto will definitely be our go to place for suits moving forward, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality, professional service and a personalized experience.
